The store mainly attracts those who own businesses as items are usually sold in bulks, hence you have to become a member which requires certain eligibility. Prices do not include VAT until you reach the checkout so this is something to be wary of. However, it is a great store that you could probably spend a good few hours browsing. Prices in general are affordable and not overly expensive. The location in Liverpool is rather in an isolated position with it being in an industrial estate and away from the main road. Most people have to have a car to use this store which makes sense when you're buying products in bulk form!

It does mean that it packs plenty of stock and by observation, more range of goods just by comparison. With the Early Learning Centre now combined with Mothercare, it is ideal for parents to find everything they could possibly want, to help raise their child. Prices are competitive and you will usually find that they are reasonable and of decent quality. Mothercare has been the main place for parents for a long time and it fully deserves to be; not hard to see why. Whether you're looking for prams, baby chairs or cots, Mothercare has it all with staff that are always willing to help.

My daughter loved the old lift tree and pressing the buttons on it hasnt been the same since. The best bit was the upstairs toy section it used to be out the way so you could keep the kids away if you wanted to just nip in without having the moaning for more toys.

I like dressing up about as much as any normal man should do, e.g. for fancy dress parties when you…read morego the whole hog, or if you're re-enacting The Rocky Horror Show down your local pub of a Saturday night. I've never been into this half-arsed university fancy dress thing though, which basically ends up being a competition by girls to see who can look the most slutty (not that I'm complaining about scantily-clad females, honest). However when entering Maghull's Fancy Dress Box, it's hard not to get carried away and dress up in the various and wide-ranging costumes they have both on sale or to hire. The outfits there are generally of a decent standard and certainly better than any local Smiffy's would have and they also stock various other bits and pieces for nights like stag and hen dos or birthday celebrations that can be very useful (they advertise themselves as a "1 Stop Party Shop"). They also have bouncy castles available for hire for just thirty pounds, perfect for those kid's parties where all the adults are waiting for the kids to tire/go to bed so they can all get on the bouncy castle. A very weird and wonderful place to go for any fancy dress or party needs.

'Just beds'. And with that, their name dilemma was resolved. Inside the shop itself, they have a wide-ranging and excellent selection of beds for you to look at (and bounce on, if no-one's looking) including the ever brilliant car bed. As Isabel says, the car bed was always, and always will be, the best bed that any furniture place sells, ever. As a kid you'd dream of getting a car bed so that you could pretend you were driving a car and now, even when I can drive a real car, I still find myself wanting a car bed. An imagined car is always much better than a real-life one, isn't it? The prices at Just Beds are reasonable enough whilst being competitive and the service there is personal and friendly, meaning it is a great place to go when looking for beds or other furniture bits and bobs.

Home Bargains is one of my favourite shops and this branch is located on the East Lancs Road not…read morefar from the motorway. It is a large recently opened store next to the company headquarters and warehouses and sells so many things at discounted prices its hard to know where to begin. They sell a lot of toys, homewares, food, perfumes, furniture, and seasonal items (and more too) at extremely cheap prices. I recently bought a High School Musical DVD game for my daughter for Christmas for £2.99, the exact same game was being sold for £20+ in other stores. All in all its a great store and a favourite place to shop as you never know what bargains you will find.

The items you will find here range from hair bands to bobbles (apparently that is the correct term here in UK for "hair elastic," oddly enough), bows, ribbons, clips, claws, etc. You name it, it's probably here. They are cheap, though, so don't expect them to come with a life-time warranty. (Or even a 2-minute one, for that matter!)

Here you will find a fairly decent variety of purses in all sorts of colours, shapes, designs, textures, and sizes. They are pretty cheap, but that probably means they are a similar quality to what you might find in Primark. I didn't see anything I particularly liked, but that doesn't mean you won't. Think leather, fake leather, and glitz. I'm not into big, loud purses--but maybe you are?

(But then, who really would?) This is a cheap market-stall type clothing shop and you're not about to find high quality stuff here. But if you're looking for a bargain you might find something you like. There are some fairly pretty little dresses in here during the summer months.

It's not bad, it's just fairly typical, which is why I only gave it 2 stars. I'm an avid reader, so I have fairly high standards for book shops. This one seems to have mainly romance novels (ala Mills & Boon), thrillers and horror, and a very small range of kids books. They did have some bargain bins, though, so if you do like to grab some paperbacks for super cheap you can get some here as low as 40 pence.
