Firstly i'd like to start off with how bad the whole community is with their hiring system and…read moretheir system in general. Why hire so much people if you will end up removing them due to *financial issues* there can be many ways on reducing that and sorting out the issues. I'm talking for a relative on mine who has recently been fired with no reason disclosed by someone whose not even the manager... Colleague's are meant to give a whole 1/2 weeks notice before fully firing colleagues instead of calling them in on that day and telling them they have been fired. Secondly i'd like to talk about how disgusting some of the colleagues are there too... there are young girls working there ages between 16-20 who are being harassed by grown men with families and literally being pressured by asking them so much questions about if they can take the person out and get to know them... These workers have no respect at all for each other and don't even know what personal boundaries are... The pay is absolutely rubbish as well, you don't even get extra pay on bank holiday there either... some of the supervisors are rude and will point out your mistakes and embarrass you on them and make you insecure which is unacceptable... Some of the workers have deep reasons on why they need a job and why they need money due to their personal issues and all workers and managers should respect that issue and let them proceed to work and not fire them for no good reason... There are some days where the work place is extremely busy and B&M will then get a bad reputation and bad reviews due to lack of till staff because the queues can get extremely long and majority of the time the tills crash and end up being extremely slow... Let me also say that the whole workplace is completely segregated and that each other can not get along well peacefully. If one person does something wrong the whole group will be offended and turn on you and give you dirty looks and bad vibes. The whole work place is just filled with people who have no respect and who are disgusting, some of the workers feel absolutely disgusted and scared to speak up due to what is happening at that place to them. Workers should just go to work do their job and then go to where ever they need to go next. Staying at work will just cause more of a hastle and make other workers have some sort of bad vibe towards you... The security is utterly bad as well, there has been a number of thieves who have got away easily and have taken £100 worth of items with them without being caught, and when someone tries to stop them in the shop other than security they get told not to because it is "not their job". Personally as a community anyone should try and reduce the amount of theft which is being occurred because if not, it will then just cause a bad reputation and then it will encourage the thieves to steal more... Some of the workers have been doing extra hours and they have not been getting the correct pay they deserve, and even for some workers who have not done extra hours... they still have not been got the correct pay and that they underpay you and then say that the correct pay will be given the "next month" and then the next month you still have not been given the correct pay... And let me repeat one more disgusting this... the workers trying to move to the girls are extremely disgusting like if someone is giving you a clear hint that they are not interested in you, then why you still trying... give them their personal space and respect that they are not interested. Instead of pressuring them, like that is completely unacceptable and those member of staff should be fired.

Yay! This store was a life saver for a dreadful overnight wait at Luton Airport. It was terrible…read morearriving at this secluded airport at 11:30pm, knowing I had a 6am flight. Why did I get here so early? You can read the back story below* if you're really interested, but be forewarned, it'll probably only confuse and slightly annoy you. Getting back to this great little shop. I always enjoyed seeing these stores everywhere, and although they are pricy to US standards (well, everything is, right?) I like to stop in and look at the beautiful packaging of the products and neat store layout. Since I couldn't check in till 4am, there were no left luggage areas and all the comfy areas to camp out were taken, I figured hunkering down with a rose would be the best idea. Luckily for me there were several others in the airport with the same predicament. Most were either already asleep, or maybe trying to drift off with their headsets on. A few looked as defeated as I did, with absolutely nothing to do in the check-in area, and being absolutely too far away from anything to even consider leaving the airport at this hour. Then, my rose and I made a few friends with other fellow wait-ers, and together we were able to pass the long hours before our flight with light conversations and delicious olives and snacks from Mark & Spencer. It was because of that, our time at this little desolate airport into a bearable experience! And I am sure we were not the only ones. I'll definitely appreciate the nice staff and this 24 hour shop for helping me out through this tough time. You guys lifted my spirits and wellness through your lovely variety of excellent products! *The back story; the reason why I was lucky enough to be chillin at Luton Airport in the first place: (Because my transit time from where I was staying in London central is about 2 hours unless I booked a hotel room next to this little airport (which I was too cheap to do), I would have had to taken a taxi at 2 am as my connecting train would was not running on normal schedule. Now, why did I book my flight out of Luton when it's so far? Here's another silly mistake I made. I booked a last minute flight through Ryanair (it was very expensive; never again will I make such a fool's mistake!) and needed to get to Dublin via London. So, my inital flight was from Luton, and I had to RUSH to get to Gatwick airport (nuts!) to make this Dublin flight. All was well once I returned to London, until of course I remembered how far Luton was, and that my flight wasn't until 6am. Now why 6am? Because I forgot that the US was the only ones who use a 12 hour am/pm format, and I booked the 6am flight thinking very absent mindly it was a 6pm flight. Real sharp, I know. So, since I already made such a blunder with the entire trip, I figured I should suck up my mistakes and make my lovely flight without wasting anymore pounds. So, if that wasn't confusing enough for you, let's just say that after a series of very short-sighted bad decisions and being awake for almost 2 days, the 24-hour Mark & Spencer shops was truly a savior when it came to having to wait until my check in time. Thanks for hearing me out!)

Parking is always available and helpful staff. They also do special items, either seasonal or anything trending at the time. These are always of great quality I have found and brilliantly priced. They do electronics too, and these always come with a nice guarantee to provide more confidence when purchasing items. One star short due to the Covid19 measures which could be enforced more and made stricter. It gets far too busy here and I have seen many people not adhering to the social distancing. They have security, so why not monitor the customers distance more during these times? They have sanitising stations located at the front of the store before entering and trolley wipes etc. They do not have speciality items or stock everything, but what they do have is good.

When I used to shop at the near by sainsbury I would always first come into Lidl and see what they had on offer that week, the products are constantly changing as they get different special from different suppliers. If you go in not expecting to be able to do your weekly shop then you may be disappointed. Look for their flyers to see their current bargains. Quality of food and produce is generally quite high considering they are a cheap store. Do always compare prices as sometimes they are actually more expensive than competitors.
