Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I ordered the Boar's Head Italian sub since it was on special. They were a little busy making orders and taking care of other customers. William greeted me immediately, and let me know they would be with me as soon as they were finished with the orders. Jonny finished with his customer, cleaned the counter and took care of my sandwich order. He made it quickly with all my requested ingredients, and I was on my way in no time. I grabbed a small box of cannoli from the bakery on my way out. I decided to sit outside at one of the picnic tables in front of the store and enjoyed my lunch while watching the customers come and go. The area was clean and comfortable. My sandwich was wonderful and a great value with fresh bread and plenty of meat and cheese. The cannoli from the bakery were nice as well.
