This is a huge, fun location with so many amazing products, you will find yourself wanting things you did not even know you were in the market to buy. That is very dangerous. My child loves interesting cake pans, so I found a William Sonoma Nordic double rabbit pan for an amazing price for the holidays. The woman working there even gave us some baking tips which is much appreciated. The only thing I did not like it that the receipt said final sale but they did not let me know before or as I was purchasing the product. read more

This place has definitely changed for the better! I love shopping in here now. There was a time when I was kind of down on this Pottery Barn outlet. It seemed like a cluster fuck of chaos and second-quality goods strewn everywhere with no rhyme or reason, punctuated by the odd great find here and there. Well, those days are over. What was once a hodgepodge of Pottery Barn castoffs and second-hand quality is no more. Today, I'd say it's equal parts Pottery Barn and Williams-Sonoma combined, perhaps devoted ever so slightly more toward WS than even PB now. Around every corner is something awesome that I gotta have. Still, the prices are not as low on many items as one might expect from an outlet, but that's par for the course at the outlet stores out here. Just because it says "factory outlet" or "second quality" doesn't always mean it's the best bargain in the world. Nonetheless, I love this store now. Despite the higher prices on certain items, there are still mega bargains to be found, especially on the clearance end caps and such. I picked up a monogrammed(already embossed with my initial!!!) polished aluminum Speakeasy cocktail shaker here for- are you ready for it- $11. It retailed for a whole lot more than $11! Elsewhere, I snapped up PB signature cocktail mixers for $1.99 that were originally $20. That's what I call a bargain and the beginnings of a beautiful cocktail party. I almost always leave with something, more often than not with at least three or four items, lest I leave an outrageous bargain behind! This PB-WS outlet is an excellent place to stock up on bar ware, kitchen gadgets, bakeware, and stemware so that you can bring out your inner Martha Stewart and start whipping cocktails and hors d'oeuvres for your next big party. Honestly, if you're an entertaining sort or a budding home chef, this is the store for you. The huge selection of reasonably-priced Riedel glassware and Emile Henry bakeware makes me giddy every single time I come in. The prices on kitchen electrics are still kind of high, but some of the things, like the Emile Henry line, PB signature dishes and the Riedel stemware are decently-priced and the selection is optimal. The best bargains on kitchen/dining are in the back of the store, while I usually spot a few interesting clearance sale items in home decor near the front registers, but the best bargains are almost always located in the kitchen/dining/entertaining area. I like this PB for its always changing seasonal decor and serveware for entertaining. Sometimes, I enjoy changing things up with my kitchen decor and such, depending on the season, and I can always count on this outlet to help me out there, especially with the deep discounts they offer on such goods after the holiday is over. I just put it away and save it til next year if it's for a particular season. Those sales are almost always 75% off post-holiday. The salespeople have been very helpful when I was looking for something specific and the lines are never very long. I can't wait til my next foray into this PB-WS outlet. This outlet is a combination Williams Sonoma and Potterybarn. There is so much here that you can and most likely will spend way longer than anticipated. My friends and I arrived at opening, 10AM, and left at 12:30PM. We definitely were impressed with selection and prices provided at this outlet. The associates Eve and Phillip were more than helpful and ensured things were accurately priced. This store is worth the trip. As is this entire outlet mall. read more

DAG, YO. This place is now half a William Sonoma outlet. Be still my baker heart! Now, to be fair, the prices on a lot of the items are not all that much lower from the store. However, they had bangin' sales today for the holidays and I saved beaucoup bucks on gifts and treats for myself. For example: All food? 40% off. Pasta sauces, spreads, olive oils, baking mixes, etc. It was amazing. I stocked up on the fancy baking chocolate I use. I had just actually gone to their Briarwood mall location (non outlet) to get some a few days prior and paid full price. Curses! But now I have more than a few boxes to last for months! All holiday treats? 50% off. The hot chocolate that I long for every time I go in, the marshmallows, the Hammond's peppermints, the peppermint bark, the caramels, etc etc. All of it 50% off. Merry Christmas, friends! You're all getting hot chocolate! Electronics? 30% off. Kitchen Aid mixer attachments, coffee makers, bread machines, etc etc. Baking pans? 40% off. Kitchen equipment? 40% off. My fella bought me a Zoku super cheap. Popsicles for everyone! Pots and pans? 30-60% off. I bought a big $100 frying pan/griddle for just $40. Ahh! Yes, I spent quite a bit of money but it was a steal compared to what I would have paid at the regular store. So sexy. The Pottery Barn side is half kids (bedding, toys, furniture, etc) and half regular Pottery Barn. They carry seasonal decorations, throw blankets and pillows, rugs, dishes, candles, picture frames, etc. All the stuff regular Pottery Barn carries but slightly lower than the main locations. Without a sale it's not really a bargain but if you can catch them on a sale. Oh man! Party. Now, I can't be sure that they'll have these sales often but it's worth joining a mailing list or keeping an eye on the Birch Run website for specials/sales. Especially if you have gourmands or domestics in your life that you'd like to stock up on gifts for, or if you like to collect these things for yourself. read more

In my opinion the William Sonoma side is better than PB. I can usually find good deals and always buy kitchen towels 40% off. They usually have these nice olive wood spoons that I like called Berard for a great price. One time I got a great deal on a wood handle Le Creuset pan. I am still saving for a Le Creuset pot.... I don't think the deals at PB are that great. In fact, I have found better deals on bedding just ordering it during a sale via the website. The furniture usually has some damage and it still rather expensive. They have a large kids selection though. My sister in law swears by their furniture outlet but I'm not so lucky. I also think their furniture and accessories for PB are a bit dated in their offerings. read more

I like to call this story "The Pottery Barn Fiasco 2019: What happens when toddlers don't learn to share, they grow up to be tyrannical customers" We live a bit of a drive from this store, so one lovely Saturday morning we called ahead to see if there was a patio set in stock before making the drive. My fiancé talked to Tammy who was kind enough to double check that there was indeed a table and when he asked about how many chairs she walked back again to make sure there were plenty. He informed her we were coming in to buy them and since they can hold items for 3 hours we thought we were all set to drive up. We quickly got a call back that when she went to pull the tags, a couple freaked out and said that they wanted not only the one table, but the second and only other exact same table and ALL of the chairs they had in stock that matched. However, they had failed to pull the tags off any of the furniture. She called to see if we were interested in a different table, but since we had been watching that one table and called specifically for that one (also I don't believe in rewarding bad behavior) we said no, we reserved those items and we were still coming in to get them. When we arrived we found out that the couple threw an adult temper tantrum and stayed there waiting for us to arrive because when we went to go look at the items, they were standing there STARING at us. They had been rude to staff who had been doing their best to sort out the situation. Instead of taking ONE table and a set of chairs like normal reasonable people, they were employing the toddler method of sitting down and refusing to move until they got what they wanted. They needed an adult to drag them out of the store kicking and screaming for acting like that, but since this is not a review of their parent's parenting skills, I will focus on the store. Tammy and the manager Phillip quickly tried to ameliorate the situation by offering us a great deal on another table. They conducted themselves with professionalism while in a tough spot of trying to make two sets of customers happy. They gave us time to talk about the decision between the tables while we shopped for other items and did not rush us even though there was an underlying current of anger flowing off the adult toddlers who were still sitting in the chair section watching us. Tammy and Phillip were so great, we had previously seen them while shopping and were great then too, so I was mad on their behalf because they shouldn't be treated like that, and also the store shouldn't have to lose money offering us a better deal just to make the other couple go away with their two tables. Eventually we found some other furniture that matched the other table and my much more kind and forgiving fiancé convinced me that we were getting the better end of the deal so we took it. Once we agreed Phillip notified the other couple and completed their purchase with professionalism once again, when it would've been really easy to be short with them after how they treated him and the staff. Moral of the story: this is a great store with great products people will obviously fight over, there is also a lot of great staff that are kind, patient, and just want you to be happy. We have been shopping there for years and have never had a bad experience (stemming from the store), and always find treasures to take home that we didn't originally intend of buying but the quality and deals are hard to resist! read more

This location, not sure of others, are not allowing those who can't wear masks inside. I can't wear a mask and entered with a face shield that covers my entire face. They said I must put on a mask under my shield to shop there. I politely informed them that I couldn't and since they were refusing my business that I would never shop at pottery barn again. I have not been refused entry to any other business while wearing my face shield. There are other places though that will allow me to shop, I will take my business to those places. read more

Oh ya, we always stop at the pottery in Birchrun on the way up north. Wow, tons of sales all over the store. 50% off on kitchen towels, table scape sets, bath items, candles and glass ware. All Fall decorating displays through out the store. We left with our arms loaded. So much cheaper than the regular stores, for the same products. read more

I have been trying to make it to a Pottery Barn outlet for a couple of years, so I was excited to finally be close enough to stop in one. Well, let me say that for the most part, there were no bargains to be had there. I swear the stuff was expensive as in their regular store. I found some things like dining room tables and headboards that were cheaper, but $17.99 for one white pillowcase? Just glad I didn't waste the gas driving a long distance to get to it! read more

Awesome place to check out. Furniture is decently priced and they have a lot of things for children's rooms as well as a Williams Sonoma section (which isn't as good, really). It is definitely worth the trip if you are looking for furniture or kids room decor. read more

Took the drive as Pottery Barn is one of my favorite stores. The staff were excellent. I was looking for a particular King size sheet set and the sales person offered to look in the back. Very cluttered and overpriced.....for a piece of clothe it was $119....RIDICULOUS....for a bath robe, no thanks. Don't even get me started on the glitter covered candles, $69......ummmmm no, I can DIY my own. The only bright side was that I found Harry Potter March, but then like the store was, it was a let down as they didn't have Ravenclaw....like really. Overall very trashy, will not return, thanks for providing me with a couple minutes of warmth though :). read more
