I've been to three friends' weddings in the last two years and the do all seem to have that leafy, romantic over the top feel to them... But that's what weddings are all about I suppose.
I did however love the chapel at Potters Receptions - It was a chilly day today yet both the rear (behind the stage) and front doors (where the bridal party walks in) were open. It felt more like a barn this way, although more cozy, and there was a pretty garden backdrop behind the bride and groom.
The food at the reception was actually very tasty and wholesome - not amazing restaurant quality but much better than I've had at other weddings. My sister has particular dietary requirements as well and they did a great job with her meal. I should cut these guys more slack I suppose, as the did cater for around 80 people, and at a very efficient rate.
I would recommend to a friend tying the knot! read more
