I remember this market having quite a little bit of everything! Prepared sandwiches, side dishes, fresh fruit cups etc.. Also, a meat counter with a butcher! They also carry chachi's/gifts, children's toys, fun jewelry some glassware and kitchen needs. From driving in this little town, I don't know if you would be able to find any of these necessities. Prices are a hit and miss. You will find some things pricey and others reasonable. For sure you'll be looking for convenience. There were employees focused on stocking the shelves. The employee at the register was friendly and didn't hesitate to engage with a customer. There's outdoor seating at the front of the market. A nice place to enjoy a bite if not too hot. She looked at me and yelled NO we don't have any restrooms! ( okay if you really don't have restrooms where do your employees go?) I of course was going to purchase something in exchange of the use of the restroom! I'm was begging her! Literally! She said no to go somewhere else! I literally left crying and humiliated! Exited the freeway and proceeded down the twisty one lane road until we finally found the location. It's situated in a quaint little throwback town. We pull up and there were 4 pumps. Went inside to get a couple of snacks and the gentleman (Ronnie) working the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. The best to me is the straight malt from the YELLOW Ovaltine container (no cocoa product used). The Carnation malt is pretty weak. I am sure there are others. I am not sure what they used though. It was tasty, served up fast, but it just was.not what I expected in both consistancy and flavor. Definitely didn't detract from my 5 star rating. Oh and the resupply food items for backpackers is amazing. Oh and they even had Leukotape and fuel canisters. Bravo! Running the place were Frank and Valerie and they couldn't have been nicer folks. Using the Albertson'a app has been a such a gift. There are digital only deals for online orders…read morethat are just killer. However, the quality of their customer service has been inconsistent - from downright horrible to great. My first time picking up an order went as smooth as silk. The next few times were ridiculous. Our pick up time wasn't upheld. Not only that, they hadn't yet started gathering our items. Another time, we were lied to about our online order - whether they actually received it or not - then about whether they had employees available, etc. We set pickup time for 6pm but physically picked it up around 8:30pm. I was promised a follow-up from the local manager by the online customer service rep but never received it. The online deals are hard to beat so we won't stop altogether but we may try alternatives before shopping here.
