Went to this place by recomendation. Well, food was OK. Probably. May be when it was hot.
We were party of 4. We ordered 1 soup, 3 appertizers, 4 main dishes and beer. Everything was brought at the same time! EVERYTHING. So when I finished my soup, all other food was cold. Imagine cold sausages and cold fried potato. It doesn't sound very tasty, right? But no one complained... My friends were more lucky since they could first eat main dish and after that go to appetizers. When waitress came to clean the table she asked why I didn't eat my order and I explained that it was cold. Period. Nothing else. I didn't have any intentions to escalate this issue.
Turned out, that there was continuation. Person who came to our table with credit card reader to take our payment and didn't introduce himself, started to argue with us. He said that he heard from the waitress my complaint regarding cold food. His arguments just left us speechless. This nice "representative of restaurant" said that always when russians order food they want to get everything at the same time. Excuse me???
First off all, the fact that we spoke russian with waitress doesn't mean that we were russians. We asked her what language she prefered (beside czech of course) and she chose russian. That guy spoke english with us. Nonetheless, even if we were russians... Is this a good way to communicate with your customers - tell them that they all look alike because they speak the same language???
Also, said that nice men, even if the waitress didn't ask you if you would like all your food at the same time, you HAD to tell her that. Really? We had to? Is this why we come to a restaurant? To tell waiters how to do their job?
Long story short, that person spent a decent amount of time arguing with us, didn't even give us chance to explain anything, interrupting us all the time. When we came out of that restaurant I had a feeling like somebody just poured a bucket of dirty water over me.... read more
