However, I began experiencing pain from that tooth and attempted to contact the office for assistance. Despite having medical clearance from my OB/GYN, confirming that it is safe for me to undergo routine dental care during pregnancy, the office refused to see me solely because I am pregnant. Additionally, when I requested a copy of my X-ray so I could seek treatment from another dentist, the office stated it would take a few days because they "have stuff to do", delaying my ability to receive timely care. The front office personnel said her name was Kelly although I'm not sure if she gave her real name. I still haven't received a copy of my X-ray to take to another dentist who was willing to see me. We were trying to minimize another X-ray since I just took one but the office is uncooperative. The front office staff were extremely unprofessional and rude during my interactions. They repeatedly hung up the phone on me and refused to provide a clear explanation for the refusal. I had to use another phone number for them to pick up my phone. I believe this behavior was unjustified, discriminatory, and unprofessional, and does not meet the standards expected of licensed dental professionals

They wanted to charge me $ 2,500 or so for a crown, but for me today only $ 1400 or so, when I have paid less in the past, same dental. As I was talking to a very nice employee, a woman who addressed herself as the owner, proceeds to jump in our conversation and her body language was extremely aggressive. She was also profoundly unprofessional, intimidating, disrespectful, and arrogant. She displayed such a depth of hostility, and anger that it was alarming. Additionally, she clearly wanted to argue and appeared ready to fight someone, and anyone. I was told by her to never come back because she felt I was disrespecting her. She literally got in my face. I totally agreed to not return and I walked out. Then, she proceeds to come outside very aggressively after me threatening me & yelling at me, " I'm calling the police if you don't come in here and pay." Pay for what I ask myself? No one had even brought up the fee to be seen today, it was not mentioned, or I would have paid it then. She yelled to not come back and then comes outside to yell, "Get back in here or I'm calling the police." Wait, what just happened? She then continues to threaten me multiple times out in public, and even still, as she witnessed myself walking back, she continues threatening me in public. "I'm calling the police!" This was completely uncalled for by any business owner or human being. I will never recommend this establishment (Dental) to anyone. This was the most unprofessional and bizarre experience in my lifetime.

Very impressive first appointment with Dr. Uthman. He has a really warm bedside manner and explains things in a clear and comprehensive manner. Hygienist was also great. No need to fear if you haven't been to a dentist in a while. They are very kind, understanding, and nonjudgmental. Scheduling is kind of weird since the listed business hours aren't fixed. They are open Monday to Saturday, but it seems like Monday and Wednesday are their firm open hours while they may close the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays if there are no appointments. That means there is no one manning the front desk on the days the office is closed (can't make or cancel appointments, no one to answer questions by phone or email). They are open bimonthly on Saturdays (two Saturdays a month), but not every Saturday. They have an online contact form for appointments, but no actual online appointment scheduling such as ZocDoc. That's my main wishlist item for this dental provider. Other wishlist items: make new patient paperwork available on the website to speed up checking in and to get a printout summary of the visit of procedures done at checkout.

I write this review with disappointment because I truly love Dr. Ahmed Uthman and have always been…read morevery happy with the quality of his work. He is an excellent dentist, which is why it is so frustrating to experience ongoing issues with the office's customer service and appointment scheduling. Unfortunately, this is now the third time I have tried to schedule an appointment without success. The first time, I was placed on hold for over 30 minutes. The second time, I had to physically go into the office just to make an appointment because I was unable to get the help I needed over the phone. Most recently, I was placed on hold for over an hour. After waiting that long, I spoke with Diana and explained that I wanted to speak with a manager regarding these repeated issues. I was then transferred to someone named Cindy, only to find out that she was not the manager. At that point, I felt as though my concerns were not being taken seriously and that I was being passed around rather than helped. What is especially concerning is that several of my family members and friends are also patients at this office and have experienced similar issues with reaching the office, customer service, and appointment scheduling. This makes it seem as though these are not isolated incidents but rather ongoing problems that need to be addressed. I am sharing this because I genuinely value Dr. Uthman and the care he provides, and I would want him to be aware of what patients are experiencing when trying to contact the office and schedule appointments. The quality of care may be excellent, but the customer service and communication from the office need significant improvement. Patients should not have to wait on hold for 30 minutes to over an hour--or have to walk into the office--just to schedule an appointment. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that improvements are made, because the difficulty of simply reaching the office is beginning to overshadow what has otherwise been a positive experience with Dr. Uthman and his dental care.

She pays exceptional attention to alleviate any pain, or discomfort, I feel during my treatments. I have had 2 root canals, 2 cavities filled, and now 2 cleanings. I have also called on a weekend for emergency care and received a prompt response and solution to my need. I highly recommend and commend Dr Cindy and her practice. It began with noticing that cleanings were becoming rushed and incomplete -- sometimes it felt like no real cleaning was done at all. Over time, that lack of thoroughness became the norm. The final straw came with a serious issue involving a financing plan for my son's treatment. Although I agreed to an 18-month, no-interest plan, the office enrolled me in a 24-month plan with 26% interest. It took me four stressful weeks and numerous calls and emails (many unanswered) to get it fixed. At one point, I was even told the account could only be canceled if I opened a new one, which felt coercive and unprofessional. As a Deaf patient, I rely on email communication, yet messages often went ignored. Two years later, I still haven't received the final statement or an explanation for the mysterious $125 credit that I was supposedly owed. Our new dentist also questioned the amount of work that was recommended here -- and several of my son's fillings had to be redone because they had fallen out, costing us $750 out of pocket. I'm sharing this so others know to review their paperwork carefully, confirm financing terms, and keep all communication in writing.
