As for my reason for stating this I'll elucidate now. Marty put 6" white gutters on my house about two years ago. They removed old system and had the new one installed in a few hours. They also installed leaf covers as well. Now for why I rate Marty so highly, a few months ago, I reached out because I heard banging above my wjndow when it was windy. I reached out and told Marty I was concerned the gutter was loose and would eventually fall. To his credit, Marty sent his crew and they tightened up the gutter that was loose. A few days later I heard the banging again and reached out again, letting Marty know that possibly, the rest of the line was loose. Again, to his credit, Marty's crew came by. They went on the roof and closely inspected the line. It turned out the gutters weren't loose but the critter guard around my solar panel was! I felt terrible asking them to come but the crew happily tightened the critter guards. Something they didn't have to do! So I stand by the fact that Mr. Gutter is a solid company to work with and completely backs their work, even backs another company's work! I highly recommend anyone looking for gutters to hire Marty and Mr. Gutter of West Babylon to do the work! You will never regret the decision and be very happy you did hire them!

When hiring someone to work on my house, one of the most important things to me is feeling…read morecomfortable around the person and feeling safe in my home with them on my property. Reed is extremely personable and all communication was excellent, which put me at ease before he even got here. He came out to do the gutter cleaning but I hadn't mentioned the gutters had guards so he ended up needing to come back to do the job, however he went up and removed the visible trees starting to grow out of the gutters while he was here the first time, which I really appreciated. This is the first time I've had gutters cleaned and I wasn't aware the guards were an issue, so if you have guards, mention it up front to avoid any issues. He came back and instantly got to work. I have a large home so it took him a few hours to clean the gardens that had started growing in my gutters. When he was done, all the greenery was gone from my gutters and the downspouts were cleaned out. This is going to sound weird but I am looking forward to the next time it rains so I can see how the gutters are supposed to work. Since purchasing the home, the rain has been pouring over the edge of the gutter and the soffits had started to sag in places where the little trees had started growing. After he was done, there was noticeably less sagging in the soffits, which I was very happy to see. The guards were obviously not working as intended because as I said, there were little trees growing, so we discussed it and decided to not put them back on. Next year, we will have him install a different type of guard system that will hopefully work better than what was in the house when I purchased it. Overall I was extremely pleased with Reeds work and my interactions with him and would suggest him to friends or family needing their gutters cleaned. He is an extremely hard working man and I will definitely be using him the next time anything needs to be done with the gutters. Give him a try! You won't regret it.

He replaced 2 floor tiles that needed to be changed because the flanged needed to be moved to accommodate the proper placement for new toilet. We contracted for our kitchen to be done after we saw how beautiful his work was for the bathroom. His brother did the kitchen and it was finished like a brand new tiled floor. We plan on having Manny come back for our other bathroom tiles, tiles in our sunroom and replacing tiles in our shower stall. So happy to have found Manny and his brother.

Vinny came to our house and was very detailed in explaining what he thought the problem was and how he would fix it. He listened to my questions (I tend to have a lot) and didn't try to upsell us. I assumed the problem would need a French drain and more and he felt confident that we didn't need to go to that expense. He said he could do all of that but we would be fine with an exterior membrane. I met with two other waterproofers who pretty much said the same and Vinny was the middle quote -yet we still chose him because he was honest and down to earth. Also I liked that his sons do the work so I trust they will take care to do it right. They scheduled us pretty quickly and got to work right away at 7 am. Three of them hand dug a 25 ft x 9 ft trench over two days (originally was supposed to be one but they needed a second because of our collapsing soil). They sealed the foundation and took care to replace my window wells, put my Sprinkler lines back, and stack the pavers they had to remove. They were respectful to me and my neighbors and didn't mind me hawking over to see them work every once and a while. We were very pleased with their work would recommend them.

We met Marty by a referral when looking to update the front of our home. Our original pavers were 40+ years old. We loved the unique shape and style but needed a refresh. From start to finish, Marty was punctual, communicated well, delivered beautiful stone work and offered very competitive pricing. We used a combination of bluestone, cobblestone, culturestone and Cambridge cobalt pavers. MJD nailed the half moon shape and retained the look we adored and even added a planters box to highlight tree we have out front. We loved it so much, fast forward one year later we brought back MJD for our back patio. Work included steppingstones, full "figure 8" pool coping and pavers including plumbing (which MJD coordinated), columns to our bar, and a planters box.
