There is nothing - absolutely nothing - that can compare to the taste of French fries. There is also no occasion where French fries can be a bad choice as a side dish for a meal (even five-star restaurants serve steak and frites). When you're in Manila, you're bound to run into this one-of-a-kind food kiosk named Potato Corner.
The relationship that Potato Corner and I have built started way back in grade school. Every Friday, I would treat myself to a medium order of fries from my allowance savings, and I would always get either barbeque or sour cream flavored fries. I think I was just so amazed at the concept that one can just simply add newly-cooked fries in a bucket, then add flavored powder, then shake it around and boom - flavored French fries.
Now that they have expanded a good amount, they've also upgraded their sizes. Before watching a movie at Theatre Mall, my most sulit option would be to order Tera Fries (currently their biggest size), and I would get the combination of half-cheese and half-sour cream flavors. read more
