GoodAh! is a popular brand for late night goto back in the past. I've alot of memory of this brand. I can't forget their old branch (now gone), along West Ave., which we would go to late at night after watching a movie at SM. I can vividly remember, all of us would get their goto and lumpia.
This branch, along Timog Ave., just beside the old 'ozone disco', just opened a few days ago. I happen to dropby to have dinner. I had my usual goto and lumpia. The goto is topped with chicharron, tripe, egg, and chives. It's still taste the same, their goto has a hint of ginger with a light umami flavor. It's thick like a porridge, not the watery type we usually see along eateries. The lumpia has more green beans than sweet potato. I prefer the lumpia of the eateries, which are filled withs weet potatoes served with their sauce.
Overall, my experience with GoodAh! brings back old memories of the past. The difference with the old and now, they added silogs and rice meals, even crispy pata (for groups) to their menu. They became a full menu fastfood.
