Customer service was awful. I called in some printing and was told it would be ready at a certain time. I specifically stated that I was in a hurry and needed the work done quickly.When I showed up, none of the printing had been done and when she finally did print, it wasn't right. Granted I should have checked my receipt after spending $60 on shipping on MLK day when I was told FedEx was the only carrier available for same day shipping. One of my parcels was sent UPS and still hasn't reached the recipient after five days. When I'm told the two packages are going FedEx, don't bait and switch me. I won't use them again. read more

Pack and Ship customers BEWARE!!! I won 2 vintage lamps at a nearby Auction House. Post net was recommended to pack and ship. One lamp did have a few cracks. The lamps were packed in 4 very very large boxes about 3 ft by 4ft quite unnecessary (you could have fit 2 adults in each box). The shiping costs were outrageous over $2000.00. The cracked lamp was recieved in terrible condition now it has about 20 cracks. I reached out to the owner who will not file a claim or even offer a small discount on the shipping. read more

I had a very strange encounter with a tall thin gentlemen who works at Post Net Centralia. I walked in to ship two truck mirrors I ordered through Amazon. They came from two different locations and were being returned to two different locations. I had the slip that goes into the box and the packing label outside the box. I wasn't sure if the boxes were packed securely enough as I don't ship things very often. I also wasn't sure if the return label needed to be taped onto some particular side of the box. I went to Post Net because Mr. Browning has always given good service in the past. I placed them on the counter and asked if the thin gentlemen thought they were packaged well enough. He confirmed that they were. I said, "you don't think we need to add any foam or anything?" He got very annoyed and informed me that they don't make any money shipping these. I was unaware of that. How am I supposed to know what the shippers pay them? He then put the label back on top of one of the boxes - I wasn't sure it was the right one. Again, these were two nearly identical items going to two different vendors. He looked at the label and claimed that the weight matched. I asked if we could weigh the other one and he said, no, please just take them somewhere else. I asked him what I did to upset him. I hadn't been rude in any way. He told me that I'd stepped in front of another customer - I hadn't and he also informed me that he didn't make any money on shipping these, and that I was expecting him to give me free packing materials. I didn't. I expected to pay for any service they provided. I stepped to the side and let him take care of the person behind me. I would have left at this point, but I've always gotten good service in this store, and assumed that there was some sort of misunderstanding that could be worked out. After taking care of the other customer, I asked him if he was confident the labels were matched to the right boxes and he again invited me to take my business elsewhere. I did. I went to the UPS Center near Napavine and was informed that the weight of neither box matched the weight on either shipping label. Had I let him ship them there was a 50/50 chance they would have gone to the wrong location. I went home and reprinted the return labels and made sure they were matched properly. With on-line shopping becoming more and more convenient and popular, I'm amazed that Postnet has no way to charge customers to help with the service I desired but regardless, even if the service I desired is something they do for free, they should do it well or not at all. I have been a paying customer at this store many times over the years. Never again. read more

I'm in town visiting family and needed a place to ship an overnight package to California via Fed Ed and had no choice but to go to the only Fed Ex authorized dealer in Centralia--Post Net. It's a nice clean place next to Safeway and in a great location, however the service was less than poor and the attitude from the owner and the employee working there were not anywhere near top notch. I was in need of a Fed Ex box when he suggested I could BUY one of his boxes instead of giving me a FREE Fed Ex box that they get from Fed Ex. I was a little taken back and asked why he would charge his paying customers for a box he receives for FREE. His answer was he has to make a living....and feed his family. All in all, I would NEVER go into this establishment again as well as tell all of my friends and family not to go in there as well. Not the way I would run my business whatsoever. read more

I came in at the start of rush hour. The shop already had several customers there, and only one staff at the moment. But one was all that was needed, when that one was--Dayton Teffeteller! Some of us--myself included--had more complicated matters than just dropping something off. But Dayton helped all of us so patiently and courteously. I used this PostNet - Harrison location since I like to support local business. In doing so it was much more costly to mail packages than going to a regular USPS office. WHAT A MISTAKE! The clerk asked me if both packages were going to the same place. Both were clearly addressed but I replied yes as they were going to the same state but different addresses. What I did not realize was that he labeled both with only one address and did not bother to take the time to read both separate addresses. THIS cost me a fortune as one package was going to a client. Both packages ended up at the address he chose to use. I had to reroute the original package on my end, pay another fee and apologize for his incompetence. This location seems to have more than a few complaints. I understand why now. Every business makes mistakes but several is unacceptable. I will NEVER return or support this local business again. read more

Terrible attitude!!! This owner has been taken rude to a extremely new level! On June 21st I dropped my box there, and now (for 2 weeks already) they still didn't ship it. So today I came to the shop tried to find out what's going on. In the beginning, I explained the situation to one employee, yet I haven't finished the whole story yet. The owner/manager just cut into the conversation. After a while, he was saying that I came here is because I'm assuming they stole my box. Omg, I just tried to found out what's happening or give me some suggestions! So shocking! Look at that attitude! Such a terrible place to be! After he also said that I didn't pay in the shop, so they don't need to care! That's all on me and FedEx! To be honest, I considered I was polite when I talked to them. I don't know why I had to be treated like a rogue. However, I'll never go to this shop again! In fact, I don't care if you don't wanna take this responsibility or not. I just asking for a better attitude to your customers, but that seems too much for this manager! The guy inside looked up toward me, turned, and went to the counter. I said it would have been nice if he had gotten the door. He was as rude as anyone I have ever encountered. I placed an order to have some work done on a Wednesday and would have it picked up on Monday, paid for the work to be done and when my friend went to pick it up they charged him also. If you're looking for a local business to mail your packages --- you should keep looking. The people that operate this mail service have taken RUDE to a new level. Last year I took a "one of a kind" painting of the USS Maine (Painted on Glass) to have it shipped to Montana. I paid for packing and shipping and was very explicit that it was very fragile. I bought the insurance and paid them in cash. I was assured by the clerk that the painting would be safe. When it arrived in Helena it was in pieces. The buyer had paid $1400. I went back to Post net with pictures of the broken picture to start the insurance claim. I was told that there was no insurance on the package that had been sent by Post Net. I had paid cash but could not produce a receipt as it was lost, misplace, or just missing. The Post Net employee was apologetic but not willing to accept any responsibly of the packing of this item. So I just sent the customer his money ($1400) back. I let the incident go as just apiece of bad luck. Today 2/26/14 --- I went back into Post Net to buy packing material for piece of electronic equipment. The clerk asked me why I was not going to have them pack and ship my item. I told him of the incident and said that I did not trust their packing procedures. He took that as an insult and became hostile ordering me out of his store with instruction to "go buy packing materials from someone else". I did just that. From the Post Net competition Goin Postal. VERY disappointed. On Monday morning, I had to send a letter overnight to meet a deadline. I could only get 2-day service from the post office in Morton, WA, so I drove to Centralia, WA (40 miles away) where PostNet assured me they could get the letter to its destination in Florida by the next day. My receipt shows that I gave them the letter before 11 AM (with the deadline for next day service at 3:30 PM). When I checked the tracking online, I found that the letter did not reach its destination until Wednesday at 9 AM !! Thus, I did not meet my deadline (Tuesday at Midnight). Further inspection of the tracking showed that my letter was not picked up until 3:30 PM on TUESDAY, after sitting atPostNet for more than 28 hours. When I called to inquire and complain, I was told by 'Alan' that if I continued to sound 'frustrated' that he would have to hang up on me. I called Fedex and they looked into it and said the fault was with PostNet. Bottom line: If you really need something to be received the next day, you should look elsewhere. Contacted Postnet in Centralia because some packages were mistakenly delivered to them. They said they refused the packages, but postmaster and delivery driver said the packages were not returned.
