Upon checking, this order was already been delivered, in this case we can no longer provide adjustments or refunds for this order. So, Chorina C., you are now the 5th Postmate's employee to not listen to my grievances and do absolutely nothing for me, yet if you had actually read my complaint, you would have noticed that I did not actually order any food because Roundtable cancelled the order, and that when I received the food it was midnight and Roundtable was no longer open to receive a complaint. Yet, my main issue is now specifically with Postmates as: 1) how can you support a restaurant on your service who cancelled my order then decided on their own without warning to the customer to fill it 3 hours later, and, 2) not care about food safety issues. I worked as a general manager in family dining for 10 years and know that food left on the wet ground, exposed to ants, for hours to the point of being cold and hard to the touch is a health violation. We did not know the order was delivered for almost 6 hours because the restaurant had Cancelled the Order at 7pm! I offered in multiple communications with Postmates to dig the pizzas out of the trash and prove that they were contaminated and thrown away at one in the morning the previous day, but I have been passed to 5 different people now and nobody cares about your customer's terrible experiences.  Postmates cannot allow their customers to be treated like this by their partner restaurants. I have cancelled my Postmates Unlimited membership, disputed this matter with my credit card, and will continue to fight this matter to the end because of Postmates terrible customer service. As a driver for postmates Postmates has no limit on packages for delivery or to the customers who order. I had a delivery pickup 23 bags of groceries and deliver them to a gated community. I waited 20 minutes for pickup and then another 20 minutes at gate as customer didn't give gate code. When I approached the home the driveway was full of cars and i ended up parking 60 feet from home The person who answered door had no mask no gloves and wanted me to bring groceries in home. Tried it Apr 11, I ordered 5 items from Walgreen for $22. That afternoon, received 3 item. They also delivered regular milk and I ordered organic milk. Te deliverer boy is nice, gave me a receipt for $10. I think it is fine, tip him $1 and notify the app. Five days later, I got charged 22+10. And the customer service will not refund. After a full year we just deleted our account with postmates. Literally spend hundreds a month but will take our business elsewhere. They delivered rubios , it was so cold and hard it felt like it'd been in the fridge. I called rubios to get info and was told they were about to throw it away it'd sat so long , but postmates scooped it up. So basically delivered rubios trash. The delivery guy/Kenny sucks. He carried my food in a bag on its side. My pizza was handed to me ON ITS SIDE! The juice/grease was all over everything else, not to mention the condition of the pizza. Really unreliable service. My main issue with them is that they can cancel your order way later after you make your order. That means that for 20 minutes... you don't know for sure if you will have food or not. I understand the reasons for cancelations (sometimes the restaurant is not open for example), but it seems to me that they not have the online systems prepared to handle this cancelation in a better way. I would strongly suggest Not To Use Postmates. I recently had a really bad experience with driver accountability. Later I found that their customer service reps use generic and pre scripted email responses to resolve issues in relation to service. My issue was: Original Eta was set for 45min, after an hour I received a notification that the driver was at the restaurant to pick up the order but "the restaurant needed more time to prepare my order" another half an hour goes by so I called the restaurant to check the status and they let me know the driver never showed up and the food was just sitting there. I then tried to cancel my order through the app but received a warning indicator stating that because the driver checked in (was already at the restaurant) I would be charged full price for the order and service. I knew the order wasn't coming and by now very cold anyhow. In addition Postmates cannot be reached by phone and the app directs you to write an email with your concern and someone would review and reach out to me within 48 hours. I ended up going to pick up the food myself - the restaurant staff mentioned that in their experience Postmates was known for these types of service issues. later after sharing my experience with others I found that 8 out of 10 of my coworkers had the same issue. They were charged for orders they did not receive and when trying to get a refund it took days... Seems like postmates does not take action to fix their service issues even after they are made aware of their areas of opportunity. Perhaps they don't care or can't make changes on the customer support level. None the less I made a strong effort to speak with upper management but kept getting the pre scripted emails in response stating "We will do everything in our ability to make amends" turns out the extent of their ability was to offer a $5 credit which expired within like 5 days. I was lied to and then couldn't rectify my issue timely. By the way im not sure why they assumed I'd use their service again, what a joke. I placed an order then immediately tried to cancel it because I was asked if I wanted to just go out and eat. As I tried to cancel it, for some reason it wouldn't let me. I then went online to try canceling and the website instructed that I had to do it on the app (which just wasn't allowing me to do so). I even called the restaurant to ask them not to make the food and they told me the order hadn't even come through yet. I then deleted the app to reinstall it and it finally worked. Four days later I opened my credit card app to pay my bill and saw that I was charged for the order that I've canceled. I contacted postmates to let them know exactly what happened and that the app wasn't working (nether their fault or mine). The first person read my message and just stopped talking to me. The second person told me because it took me 7 minutes to cancel and not less than 5 minutes they couldn't do anything for me. The third person said nothing about it taking 7 minutes or 5 minutes but that because it took me more than 48 hours to contact them with an issue they couldn't help me. Yet I didn't know I had an issue until I saw it on my Credit Card app. Funny that I got two different reason as to why they wouldn't help me. I then simply asked them that if they are going to keep my money, just send my order back through to the restaurant and have my food sent to me.
