First visit to the OG Arcadia location, and the patio was the highlight. A sunny weekend afternoon is exactly the right time to be out there. I've enjoyed other Postino locations for the bites and ambiance, so I was excited to see where it all started. We ordered the meatballs and a bruschetta board. The meatballs were solid, with a creamy goat cheese sauce that worked nicely. On the board, the buffalo cauliflower was the clear winner. The bacon and tomato bruschetta, though, was soggy and didn't impress, so unfortunately had to skip it.

I've been going to Postino for years. I've been to four or five of their locations in Houston. And one in Phoenix prior to Postino Arcadia. What makes Postino Arcadia special is that it's the original! Many years ago, Postino bought a building which used to be a post office...hence "Postino." I stopped by on a Saturday evening for dinner. We didn't have any problems parking in their complimentary lot. Ambiance (4.5/5): The vibes at Postino are always solid. Think trendy while still maintaining a laid-back/hipster feel to a degree. It works. We sat at a booth in one corner of the restaurant close to the bar. Service (4.5/5): Friendly service. Our waitress was great. She was attentive and stopped by regularly. The restaurant wasn't busy when we were there (it was close to close) but she still did great. They check you out using those handheld devices which I'm not a fan of, but outside of that, great. Drinks (4/5): Postino is known for their wine. In fact, it was the place where I tried orange wine for the first time. While they're known for their wine, they also have beer and cocktails. This time around, I didn't feel like drinking so I went with a prickly pear lemonade. Very Arizona! It hit the spot. Postino is also known for their board and bottle deal where you can get a bottle and a board for a nice discount. Check out their website for the day/time. Food (4/5): I went with the grilled cheese which is served with a cup of tomato basil soup. With that being said, a lot of people order their boards or bruschettas. You won't see hearty items on the menu, their stuff is on the lighter side. But it's quality. A bit overpriced for what you get, but good. If you're going to check out Postino in Phoenix and surrounding areas, you're going to have quite a few locations to choose from. Might as well check out the one that started it all!

Happy hour attendance required. Bruschetta, top notch. Favorite selections are the mushroom, warm artichoke, salmon and traditional. Pictures show of all four. Interior is welcoming and music is just right for a conversation. Exterior is perfect when you can use it. During our summers it's pretty, but no way in hell I'd sit out there in August. Service is pretty good. Get used to a different server handling your table each time something is needed or delivered, they all help you. Try it out! You shouldn't be disappointed.

Love Postino's and especially the Arcadia location! We love stopping in for a glass of wine and a board of bruschetta! They have some of the best bruschetta in town! They also offer a pretty great daily HH: $6 glasses of wine and $6 pitchers of beer before 5 p.m. On Mondays and Tuesday evenings after 8pm you can get a board of bruschetta and a bottle of wine for $25! Make sure and check them out if you are looking for a relaxing atmosphere with great service!

Anytime I'm in town and looking for a good meal to go, this is my go to spot. Always fresh and so many options to choose from!

OMG Grilled Cheese (half eaten) without bacon

Postino has been a favorite restaurant for my wife and me for so long! From happy hours, brunches, late night snacks, and even our first date, we have been to every Position location in the Greater Phoenix area. The taste of food is great, the locations are convenient, and there are some great deals and promotions. We went this weekend to Postino Arcadia for a date night, and like usual, we were quite impressed! We made a reservation in advance on their website, and we were able to sit down without any wait. The host and serving staff were all very helpful and considerate. Being 6:30 PM on a Friday evening, we didn't know if we should expect it to be very busy or quite empty (as it was summertime). It turned out to be moderately busy, and we found a self-parking spot right away in the parking lot. There were more open spots when we arrived than when we left. There are valet options in addition to the self-parking though (but we didn't need them). We met one of the servers and asked for recommendations as we were craving a bruschetta board (four toasts each cut into four pieces) along with a grilled cheese with tomato soup. We knew three of the four bruschetta options we were going to choose but struggled choosing the last one, so the server offered to bring us the one we don't choose to try. We also didn't want bacon on the grilled cheese and asked about a meat substitute. While there was a charge for any additional substitute, we just decided we didn't need the meat in the first place with the bruschetta coming, too. The food was all delicious as usual and arrived rather quickly. We don't know how this location's food and service could be any better! We have signed up for the ePosse and have enjoyed receiving birthday promotions including a free dessert as well as something special for our Postino anniversary. Or instead of Postino, it can be used at other Upward Projects restaurants including Windsor, Federal Pizza, or Joyride Taco. Happy hours are also great daily until 5 PM with $6 wine by the glass or pitchers of beer. On Monday and Tuesday evenings after 8 PM, you can order a full bottle of wine and a bruschetta board for only $25. We love Postino and will be back!!

What an excellent way to enjoy brunch with my family and Postino delivered! I was really surprised that they offer brunch and it was an excellent experience. The food was amazing and well flavored...kudos to the chef! The service was excellent and our server Faith did an amazing job! The atmosphere was excellent and we were able to sit on the couch area...recommend you reserve that area if you're wanting more comfy chairs. What an amazing service and experience...I highly recommend Postino Arcadia! 5 stars for sure!

Trinity C.

This is my favorite Postino location I have been to! The outdoor patio is so cute! The service was exceptional! The food was delicious as always! You have got to go for their happy hour special of $6 wine and beer before 5pm! The best!

Delicious Bruschetta Board and Lilith wine

WOWWW what a night. It was monsooning when we got there and they let us sit in the private dining room since all the indoor spots were full. Service was incredible and the food and wine was absolutely delicious...me and my friends have been coming here weekly all summer and truly what a beautiful send off tonight was. I cannot recommend this postinos enough shout out the entire staff

Left to right: goat cheese tomato jam chef selection, mushroom and mascarpone, warm artichoke, French onion

I took myself on another solo date to Postino! Parking here is tough - if you want to park in the actual lot. If you go far enough you can park on the side streets/in the surrounding neighborhood. I found a place that lets you park after 6pm! There was an open spot at the bar so I sat myself and was promptly greeted by the bar tender. He gave me a menu and told me the chef selection of the day. I ordered my classic honey cucumber lemonade (seriously so good, tart and sweet). I had a gluten free board with the French onion (I've been wanting to try this and I looove it; the cheese is divine and the caramelized onions are sweet and just yum), the mushroom and mascarpone (a newer top contender of mine, so savory and the mushrooms are cooked perfectly - I don't like when they're super chewy), the chef selection of goat cheese with chives and tomato jam (reminded me of the pepper jam and goat cheese but I do like this one a little better, slightly sweeter but had a good balance with the tangy goat cheese and chives), and the warm artichoke (I was obsessed with this and maybe I've had it too much but I don't really like it anymore! This didn't hit the mark, it was a little dry). It was a very pleasant experience of me reading my book, eating some good food, and just enjoying the atmosphere. I had to ask to get the check since the bar is busier but the bartender was very nice about it - probably preferred.

BRUSCHETTA ( CHOOSE 4 ) - Brie Apple Fig, Warm Artichoke Spread, Prosciutto Di Parma Fig Mascrapone, and Smoked Salmon + Pesto

Alisa B.

Truly incredible. Great ambiance, friendly service, and simply good food! My friend recommended the bruschetta boards here, so I knew I needed to try one. On a Bruschetta Board, you can choose 4 different topping options. I loved each of the four I got - but my favorite was DEFINITELY the Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig, + Mascrapone! Perfectly balanced and they didn't skimp on the ingredients. $6 glasses of wine before 5 pm is a great deal too :)

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. What a great place this is! I mean wine and bruschetta? You can't get better then that! On Mondays Tuesdays they have a bottle of house wine and a bruschetta for $20!! What a steal! The only down side those days WILL be busy but it's totally worth the wait! (And you can start drinking your wine while you wait. They have little tables you can stand around or sometimes areas you can sit!)The outside patio at night is to die for! But it can be a bit noisy! Wonderful "girl night" get together spot! read more

This is a staple restaurant for us. We go here all the time. It's the kind of place you want to take people who aren't from here because it feels like you are experiencing the culture of Phoenix. This place has great food and great wine. Their Bruschetta boards are heavenly. I have tried almost all of the options and loved every one of them. Everyone should try this place at some point. I just ordered Postino for takeout for the first time and let me just say that the vegetarian panini is to die for. Hands down the best sandwich I've ever had. I had it on the focaccia bread and it was just unreal. So incredibly delicious. I'm sure the ciabatta bread would've been just as amazing though. Highly recommend trying this sandwich. If you like a LOUD DANCE MUSIC atmosphere this is the place for you!! Food was ok.... but really I could not get over the LOUD background music that was in your face. I have no idea who they are catering too... I am a 50 something foodie... will NEVER be back again. I did ask for the manager to see about at least turning the obnoxious music down... looked at me condescendingly to say I'll turn it down.... geez... thanks... NOT!! Seeing as how I live within walking distance, Postino is absolutely one of my local staples. The service is always great, the food is excellent and the wine list is constantly rotating. The overall atmosphere is always inviting and honestly, I can't say enough great things about this place. Whenever I have someone visiting, this is always on my list of places to go. It's hard to provide a review of a specific time there since I go often but that should speak volumes since nobody would go back to a place over and over again if it weren't great! read more

Went here last night for date night. Couldn't have asked for a better atmosphere or better service that just added to a great experience. We had been to Postinos before, but never to this location. We sat outside and the lighting of the place was perfect for a romantic night. The service was incredible. I believe our server was Mark. We were in between two types of bruschetta for our last pick and he ended up bringing the other one we didn't order just so we could try it - on the house. It only would have been an extra $4 for us to try, but it was the gesture that really impressed us. We will definitely be back again for the food, but we loved the service at this location!! read more

I LOVE Postinos Arcadia! What's not to love about a beautiful, modern indoor-outdoor restaurant, with excellent paninis and bruschetta and a fabulous selection of wines by the glass? Reasons why I love Postinos, and you may too :) 1) Great building with modern/chic decor - There's ample indoor and outdoor patio seating, and it's the perfect spot for lunch with the girls, or a date, or whatever! Parking can sometimes be tricky, but 9 out of 10 times, the valet guys will be there to help you (valet is free!) 2) Butcher's Block Appetizer - $14 and well worth it and perfect to share - It's loaded with an assortment of artisan meats and cheeses served with tuscan beans, olives, nuts and crostini - Yum! 3) Bruschetta - $14 for a choice of 3 - The bruschetta is made with beautiful thick, large slices of crispy, fresh bread, and topped with all sorts of delicious toppings. My favorites are 1) the Brie, Apples and Fig Spread, 2) Prosciutto with Figs and Mascapone and 3) Salami with Pesto 4) The Wines! Great selection of wines ; there's something for everyone. 5) Happy Hour! $5 glasses of wine/beer Everyday between 11am-5pm ! read more

I am a huge fan of Postino! Where to start...I got hooked on them while living in Gilbert with the board and bottle special on Tuesday nights. I believe it is available on Monday too. Not only is the price amazing, but the bruschetta!!! Recently we visited this location and it is the same amazing food and wonderful service. I eat very little dairy or meat but will splurge here. Last week we had the fig and mascarpone, the warm artichoke spread, the jam and sheep's milk cheese, and the apples and brie cheese. I have had all of them and there isn't one I don't like. By far the board and bottle is the best deal around. Can't eat fast food that tastes this good, most of all I love the vibe! read more

Postino Arcadia is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in the valley. The wine list is diverse and if you having trouble choosing, just ask your server. The bruschetta is amazing and an absolute must have. When you go, valet....it's definitely $3 well spent. That way, you can get into Postino's faster to grab a seat. You really can't go wrong with the Prosciutto and Brie Sandwich, along with the Mixed Green Salad - I'd love to say that I try something different each time, but I can't waver from that. It's truly fantastic. This is a great place for a date night, and if you haven't been there......go. Now. Just expect to wait for awhile, they're always busy. But trust me ,it's well worth it! Oh, and a tip? They have a special Monday and Tuesday nights after 8:00pm....a board of bruschetta and a bottle of wine. WIN :-) read more

MEB Management ....regarding The Highland Apartments, 15255 N Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85260. The other night (it was real hot), unbearable. My a/c wasn't working. At approximately 9 pm, I called MEB Management. Never in my mind did I think I would get the prompt, efficient and courteous service that I was about to receive. I got a call back with five minutes from Jesus. He gave me instructions that the line might be frozen and he'd call me back in 1/2 hour. It still didn't work. The next thing that I knew he said he was on his way, with a 'portable' unit to cool my place down until they could get on the roof the next morning. I was expecting a huge metal unit to arrive with no way to put it into my sliding window. What they brought me was a very modern plastic unit with clean ducting that vented outside, this was at 10:30 pm a night when the work was finally done. I was appreciative, it cooled my whole place down and my night and the next day were able to be normal. The humble professionalism of Ira, the head of maintenance staff and Nychell as well are always appreciated. Tracy, Marsha and Jessica are the office staff that I am also happy with. Five stars to The Highlands for this! Sincerely and satisfied tenant. read more

This is a great place to go for an early happy hour - $5 glasses of wine and $5 pitchers of beer (love the Hop Knot). The sandwiches, salads, and soups are amazing. If I had to recommend one place in Phoenix to bring someone, it would be Postino's Arcadia. Oh, and on Sunday afternoons around 3 pm, there is live music. History

Established in 2001.

Postino Arcadia is our "OG" - where the Postino story began. It lives in a 1940's brick post office building nestled in the heart of the pedestrian friendly neighborhood. Our roll-up garage door style walls allow for the smell of Arcadia's blossoming orange trees to waft into our space, but we also have plenty of nooks and crannies for you to cozy up and have an intimate conversation over a bottle of tasty wine and bruschetta.

Postino B-Side

Postino has been a favorite restaurant for my wife and me for so long! From happy hours, brunches,…read morelate night snacks, and even our first date, we have been to every Position location in the Greater Phoenix area.

At it's best! Superb....Will return to dine here! Reservations were easy and smooth. Hostess was friendly. Walked in and was seated right away. We had reservations at 7:30PM so we got to see the restaurant transform to how they really function. They kept up with the very busy crowd, and all the hustle and bustle. My friends and I split the selection of four bruschettas. We had the brie and apple (my favorite), the caprese, goat cheese and roasted red peppers and salami and pesto. They were all amazingly good! Simply put though, I love this place because it is consistently good. The service is always great, it is reasonably priced, the food and wine are delicious and the ambiance is wonderful. Right now is the perfect time of year for them to roll up their garage doors and let the fresh air in off their patio. And the dimly lit bar is the perfect place to get a little tipsy on a Tuesday. ;) I will continue to go back time after time because I am never let down. I love Postino. I just wish it was closer. It's a great place to go after work with a few friends for drinks, but then I gotta drive home... The $20 deal for wine and bruschetta is as good as everyone says. The prosciutto with figs bruschetta is so delicious, the salty flavor of the prosciutto combined with the sweetness of the figs is heavenly. I also love the smoked salmon and pesto combination. If you're a little hungrier and want something to yourself, the paninis are extremely satisfying. My favorite is the Autostrada, it's spicy and savory and a little bit different from any panini I've had anywhere else. The wine selection could be better, but the truth is if you're drinking out and it's not a special occasion, most people are going to want a decent house wine and leave it at that, and Postino's house wines are just fine. read more

Disgusting today!!! This may be the lowest rating Postino's has ever gotten. Food is still the greatest, HOWEVER, THEY ALLOW DOGS. Was having lunch there today and was watching a woman give her dog water out of her water glass....I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO DRINK OUT OF THEIR WATER GLASSES AGAIN. Dogs are animals, not humans and some people forget this. Where is the management or even the wait people? Why will no one speak up? The dog also licked the table, the board the food was served on and the menu. (of which the wait person put back into the menu holder with all the others) Just made me feel ill, did not finish my lunch. I have a dog but would not ever think of taking her to a restaurant. Even though I have been eating here for the last couple of years (and always loving it) it may take me awhile before I go back!!! read more

Food is okay, location is great and close to where I live. I had been to the Postino in Tempe and really enjoyed it. However the girl who served my friend and I at the Arcadia location , was really rude and fake nice. This happened a few months ago but I think it's worth sharing. As our waitress is taking our order, I inadvertently dropped my spoon on the floor and it hit our server's foot. She obviously was not hurt she said she was fine; and I of course apologized for it. Moments pass and she goes away to put in our order and my friend proceeds to tell me that while I picked up the silverware and apologized, she rolled her eyes at me. We still ate and tipped her, but I hope she doesn't stay in the hospitality industry, her disrespect just ruined it for me and just tarnished my view of Postino Arcadia. read more

Dear Postino, I try to stay away but I just can't. Last night was my third time indulging in your delectable bruschetta in the last 9 days. Your bread, such perfection, crunchy on the outside (but not so much that it pokes my delicate palate), yeasty soft goodness on the inside, a sublime bed for those gourmand toppings. So what if you've slightly squeezed the portions of late? Hey, everyone's feeling the recession. When your figs are as luscious as they are, your salmon this smoky and savory, your prosciutto NOT bought from TJ's like what's in my frigo, your brie this buttery-- a little goes a long way. I know I drank you dry of your sparkling Rose this week, so I'll wait at least a few days for my fix until your next wine shipment arrives. Until then, Love, Mandy xo read more

I ate here for brunch recently with my friend. The food selection was great, prices very fair, and our service was absolutely wonderful. Everything we've got was delightful and delicious. Got the Raspberry Chicken, Butcher's Block, and Prosciutto with Brie Panini (Prosciutto with triple cream brie, fig jam, and arugula with balsamic vinegar, and olive oil) which was my personal favorite. Our food choices were only some of the popular dishes here at Postino Arcadia that worth trying for. The service was excellent and the food serves in a timely manner. Checked out Postino Arcadia last night. After reading so many glowing reviews I have to say I was expecting a lot. What I found was a decent place although I wouldn't say I was WOW'd into leaving five stars. It was good, don't get me wrong. I think I had it worked up in my mind though from all the reviews I read. My friend and I went for a snack and some wine so we ordered some bruschetta. Again, it was good but didn't knock my socks off. We tried the roasted peppers with goat cheese which was tasty but my favorite was the prosciutto with fibs & marscapone. Those flavors really complemented each other nicely with the red wine we were drinking. All in all, I liked it and would go again. read more

My wife and I went in for board & bottle, and may I say, on top of the uniquely phenomenal deal, our service was over the top. I am beyond happy with everything we both had. We both love Syrahs and Rae informed us that the "Les Heretiques" was actually a Syrah blend, which we thoroughly enjoyed with our board of bruschetta. Super fresh and perfect airy texture and paired with the rich olive oil was the cherry on top. He got a side of focaccia because his chicken Milanese didn't come with a carb. When his plate got set down, we both commented how huge the chicken was and how tasty it looked. It didn't necessarily need a carb because of the size. He liked the crispy chicken a lot but said it has slight too much lemon flavor, preferring he squeeze the lemon on his own - he's picky with lemon. I love lemon so it would've been fine for me. I got the nerano with fried zucchini and grilled shrimp made gluten free with gnocchi. I would have loved a gluten free pasta option that's homemade - I saw they had spaghetti and rigatoni in the market (and penne but everywhere does penne) - but the gnocchi was also quite tasty and if anything made it a more filling dish. I loved this dish. If you love a sharp cheese taste this one is for you. It was so cheesy with the freshest parm and the olive oil made it buttery and just so good. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the zucchini added a caramelized bonus. These are small portions overall for the prices. I understand the grab here is the high quality authentic ingredients which can mark up the prices, though. Great for date night!

Upstairs At FLINT

Wow. All I can is what a restaurant! Came here on a Wednesday night 3 weeks before Christmas and…read moreit was a vibe. Secluded upstairs dining area with heaters available. Excellent service, a Christmas tree upstairs, and no reservations required. Glad they were able to seat us considering we showed up without reservations. Downstairs gets quickly reserved so seats upstairs are where they push overflow patrons. Right outside Flint's doors downstairs there is a staircase which opens up to the upstairs dining area. Service was prompt, and we got our drinks by the time we had our mains decided. I got a glass of red to pair with my steak. My partner had a refreshing cocktail, but it was decent. The highlights of the night were the food. SO MUCH FOOD! And it was TERRIFIC! For starters we got the artichoke hummus. It sounded a bit weird, but all it was was regular hummus with 4 artichoke hearts that were crispy. The artichoke hearts were crisp, but moist, and I could have kept eating those all day. It comes with 1 pita bread. The server told us to order another and we did, turns out we needed it as the pita breads were quite small ($3 +). Sure only 3 bucks, but nickel and dime if you are spending $14 on an app... For mains I got the filet medium rare with a side of regular potatoes. My partner got the salmon skewer with a side of asparagus. Both the dishes were cooked perfectly and they were familiar dishes with a slightly exotic touch to it. Must be the middle eastern part of the restaurant. The steak came with a ganache or accompaniments of middle eastern sides. Can't recall what they were but they were great when I dipped my potatoes in them. It was sour, tart, acidic, kind of like middle eastern soy sauce. The server recommended it to us and we got it. The salmon skewer came with 5 decent sized pieces on it. Great for a small eater or someone who doesn't want their own meal. It too was delicious and had light touches of sauce or smoke on it. The asparagus is a favorite. It was cooked as usual, typical steak side and both me and my partner enjoyed it! For dessert, as it was my partners birthday the server comped the pound cake. While it was delicious, it was definitely the letdown of the meal. It was way too sweet including the layer of cream that it was doused with. The sweat cream wasn't necessary as the pound cake was incredibly sweet itself. Also, the pound cake wasn't soft like normal cake. It was quite dry once you peeled away the creme layer up top. I definitely should have gone with the Chocolate Ganache Tart. But their mess up worked in their favor. I'm definitely coming back for another meal at Flint!

I prefer history - this one beginning in the 1930's as an artist's studio & residence (Lon Megargee) which was converted into a small oasis in the desert. All of the rooms, maybe some 40, are bungalows / casitas a short walk to the restaurant and bar (The Last Drop). Rustic, cozy, fireplaces, murals and artwork hang on adobe walls, which transport you back to the Old West. The Last Drop is cut out of a small corner from the main dining room and outdoor patio (wonderful to enjoy outdoor dinning in the cooler months). Bar seating is minimal, maybe 8 stools, but they have another 4 or so bar table-tops, and some casual seating in leather chairs. The interior wafts of fireplace ash and the food being prepared in the kitchen. Mind-blowing. Service is aways outstanding at the bar. Tonight, I started with a Jack Daniels Manhattan - the bar is VERY well stocked with high-end bourbons, whiskeys, scotches and the bartender has a list of specialty drinks as well (try the Little Piggy Sour). I stuck with the classic, JD Manhattan, up. The steak is very good, also have had fish (Pan Roasted Salmon), but went with chicken. TWO-WASH CHICKEN. Absolutely incredible, comes with spinach, poached egg. Ala-carte sides so added Hot Honey Brussels Sprouts, to die for. The closer, get the CHURRO TREE, the sauces are ridiculous. Highly recommend the entire experience if you are in the Pheonix area, or in Scottsdale or Paradise Valley. Guarantee you will not be disappointed. Worth a special trip out of your way.
