The lady that works here is so incredibly rude. After having an unpleasant experience the first couple of times here, I brushed it off thinking she was having a bad day, but nope. My third time was even worse. She said not a word when I walked in and didn't even look up from whatever she was doing while I stood right in front of her waiting to be helped. When I finally said something she looked up at me like she was annoyed I was there. I was dropping off prepaid USPS packages but she would not scan them and give me a receipt, but instead just told me to drop them in a bin that wasn't even behind the counter. That didn't feel secure to me and I would have no proof that I had dropped them off. She continued to scoff and say that she wouldn't give me any type of confirmation so I left and will not be back. How does this location stay in business?? I will go back to driving out of my way to go to other locations, because customer service matters. read more

It's bad business practice closing before the stated hours of operation. I arrived seven minutes prior to the stated closing time of 5 pm with five large packages with prepaid USPS labels on them. The door was locked, lights out, no one in sight, and the phone went to voicemail. Shameful way to run a business. read more

This location is never open on time. You need to update that your hours if you aren't going to operate per business hours. It's an inconvenience for customers to drive out of their way to your location then have to go else where. Why are you in business if you aren't going to conduct business? Not bashing on this company, but this location isn't the greatest around. I was there for a return and was told I needed more than what I had brought. (Return papers) I knew this wasn't true, (because I've been to a different PostalAnnex in the same situation) and did not want to hassle with the lady. So without disrespect I left and went to the PostalAnnex off of Bullard and First where they accepted what I had brought. Simple, done, easy. I'd give no stars if possible. I went to drop off a letter and purchase postage with my bank card and was told there's a $7 minimum purchase. The owner says "you don't have cash on you? No, I don't carry cash." Perhaps posting a sign indicating a minimum purchase is necessary. Rude ass. read more

Great place and wonderful friendly, efficient, and a hard working lady, very eager to help, and knowledgeable, accurate as to commitment of delivery as per FedEx, UPS or USPS has committed ,keep in mind they are just shipper for these big companies they don't deliver packages. People should be thankful to her for letting them use her business space for drop-off packages free and of cost keeping door open in this economy and still have to deal with customers of all kind of negative attitude . I do not agree to those low reviews, my experience with this postal annex for last 16 years plus had been just great and nothing else. I had done shipping, notary, live scan fingerprint, drop off packages. I have my mail box here as well for my mail and packages ( it's not a storage hub for packages) with them to keep my mail safe from these every day breaking mailboxes at the house and stealers from the door without additional charge :). I happened to be witnessing young customer who refused to wear mask for her live scan finger printing and bad mouthing, lady at the counter she rightfully refused her the services because no one wants exposure to this pandemic of Covid 19 and hear bad words. Salute to the owner of this business keeping all of us safe during this pandemic with her strict face mask mandate keep it up!!!!! People want to do business for some profit unlike non-profitable businesses, keep in mind those eBay ,amazon and big businesses are open because they have to make profit. I have gone in and used this stores service multiple times. Sending out letters and basic packages. I normally don't question the price she gives me. I just pay the couple fee and leave. Today I went in looking to ship a FLAT RATE box. Costs 13.50 and some change usually for the size. She rings me up & wants to charge me $28.something. I point out it's a flat rate shipping box. She says "O flat rate will be $19.50." Now I realize this is a private owned place that ships but really. I took the extra drive to the post office by Costco on Shaw & ended up paying $13.75. Yes I probably ended up paying the same amount with gas all said and done. But after hearing her give me multiple prices I just couldn't. Will be driving out to the post office on Shaw by Costco from now on. read more

Worst service ever the lady is on the phone the whole time she is assisting you, probably why the package was returned twice with wrong address. When attempting to explain this to her she insisted I gave her the incorrect address. She was very rude and unreasonable. I've used this place several times to mail important documents. I figure all shipping places charges the same prices. Each time I come here, I feel I'm being overcharged. I paid more to mail a single letter using 1 stamp. Normal stamps cost 49 cents. I was charged 65-69 cents around there. I've also mailed important documents via usps , got charged 28-32$. I never questioned the prices and figure it's normal prices. For comparison, priority flat rate document envelope should only cost $6.70 after reading online. Why would that lady charge me more? Isn't it ethical to at least tell me how I can save without trying to sell more the most expensive option. But no more, I won't be going here. Beware at the prices. It felt like I was going to Sri Lanka, I've been there and locals would charge me more because I'm a tourist. I just want a fair local price without the upcharge. read more

During covid you really look for price gouging. The item I sent UPSP was double from USPS. We expect everyone to make a profit. But charging service fees with out explanations is wrong! Close to home- never, ever go there. Once, the owner yelled at my little daughter not to touch anything. I figured it's because little ones break things, I'll excuse her. A few days ago I went just to drop off a package I was returning. I was directed to "just leave it in the back." I took a picture of my tracking number. The owner yelled at me, "What are you doing!" So UPS usually asks if I'd like to take a pic if they can't print a receipt. I meant no offense to her. She demanded that I delete the picture, am not allowed to take pictures in her business, was incredibly rude, although I politely explained. Yelled at me to take my package & get out. No exaggeration! I took it to the post office in Mobile center near Costco- the attendant there offered me a receipt with tracking number. I have only gone to this shop two or three times to ship some books for a club I am in. It costs double what I would pay for postage at the post office so I try to avoid it at all costs. You would think the speed (not a busy spot) and the location (super close to my house) might make up for it, but the lady that works at the front seems unapproachable and unwelcoming. I was charged $65 for 5 books of $.55 stamps... not worth the surcharge they say they charge. This is the second instance where I feel that their business is bad. I went in to mail a passport renewal form. The lady asked where I'm sending the package. I pointed to the address and she was telling me it would be fourty-some-odd dollars. I asked why, she said the address is for expedited service and so I have to use expedited shipping. I then told her no, I just need regular shipping and the address I'm sending it to is for THEM to expedite the service. So she quotes me twenty-something dollars. I ask if there is a cheaper option. She continues to say no because of where I'm sending it. At that point I tell her I'm going to leave to the post office. She then says she can do it 9 bucks with tracking. I didnt need tracking, but I ate the cost of 2 bucks. The stamp surcharge is what got me to write this. The Postal Annex off of Bullard Ave doesn't give this type of poor service. I'm just going to drive a little further and do business directly with USPS. read more

I have been using this place for past eight years and I am glad it's in my neighborhood,it's so convenient to get packaged and Mail my shipments. I never paid extra for labor or for using packing tape. It's so convenient to ship from here instead of standing for hours in line at the post office. I don't mind paying extra for convenience and services I get for mailing my packages. I never had any shipment misplaced.I always mail my letters here as the mailbox in my neighborhood are always vandalized. I trust this place and feel safe when I drop my mail. I have mailbox here as well and I get my packages received here and I don't have to go to the post office and stand in line to receive them during work hours.
