This is a friendly, effiecient Post Office, offering quite a selection of goods…read more Parking is available on the road outside, or just a few feet along at the Spar. Although it is a busy road, normally it isn't too difficult to find a space. I recently had quite a difficult transaction to carry out, but the lady who served me knew her stuff, and I managed without any problems. I'd therefore recommend using this Post Office if you're in the area.
Finningley Post Office
A lovely little post office in a beautiful village just outside Doncaster, close to the airport. It…read moreis owned and run by a couple who know just about everyone in the village and they always have time to talk to everybody who calls in. As well as postal services they sell the usual range of cards and stationery they sell milk, bread and eggs - handy as there isn't another shop in the village. Only complaint is the eggs - I think they're under the impression that because the box says 'fresh' they're free range. They're not! Other than the egg problem my only minor niggle is that there isn't a lot of space and service can sometimes be a little slow, but that all adds to the charm of the place. I'd recommend using it to anyone passing that neck of the woods.

This is a really good Post Office, located at the back of a convenience store/newsagents…read more It gets very busy, but the staff always seem to be really efficient so the queue keeps moving. There are several counters and when it's busy they do open all of them to minimise delays. The staff I've dealt with in this branch on my many visits with mountains of Ebay parcels are always fast, efficient and knowledgable. The shop itself is clean and well located next to the bus station and main pay and display car park.

It's a little shop as well, so you can pick up essential groceries (such as chocolate) while you're there. There's parking available at the front although it can be a little awkward as it's on a main junction but generally people will let you through (there's keep clear signs on the road, but they're often ignored). This is only minutes from Robin Hood Airport so it's handy for any last minute essentials before you fly.

It's really small, but perfectly formed! They've got a good selection of grocery goods and the usual load of cards, wrapping paper and postal supplies. I don't think it would be the best choice if you're an Ebayer with a mountain of parcels but if you just need a book of stamps and a bar of chocolate then it's perfect and a very friendly little place to call into.
