Although it is a busy road, normally it isn't too difficult to find a space. I recently had quite a difficult transaction to carry out, but the lady who served me knew her stuff, and I managed without any problems. I'd therefore recommend using this Post Office if you're in the area.

There's parking available at the front although it can be a little awkward as it's on a main junction but generally people will let you through (there's keep clear signs on the road, but they're often ignored). As well as postal services they sell the usual range of cards and stationery they sell milk, bread and eggs - handy as there isn't another shop in the village. Only complaint is the eggs - I think they're under the impression that because the box says 'fresh' they're free range. They're not! Other than the egg problem my only minor niggle is that there isn't a lot of space and service can sometimes be a little slow, but that all adds to the charm of the place. I'd recommend using it to anyone passing that neck of the woods.

I don't think it would be the best choice if you're an Ebayer with a mountain of parcels but if you just need a book of stamps and a bar of chocolate then it's perfect and a very friendly little place to call into.

The Post Office itself is quite a large shop, with three or four windows available at the usually busy times. Parking is available behind the post office, which is shared with the neighbouring bank and clothes shop. This can be quite busy and difficult to negotiate however, so it may be worthwhile parking a bit further down the road at the tanyard. The shop is similar to many Post Offices in that it sells sweets, chocolate, drinks, cards etc. Which can be purchased at a separate desk so as to not make the queues for the actual post office windows any worse. There is a post box outside for out of hours posting. Like anywhere, the Post Office seems to get busy at lunch time, but the queue is usually fairly fast moving.
