A distance from Montpelier, located in the rural area surrounded by trees and mountains, Plainfield, VT boasts this exciting pizza find. Have to say, the offerings have matured immensely since my college days over 15 years ago and now boasts an eclectic beer menu that excites. The pizza has always been fabulous and there are other items to choose from if pizza doesn't ring your bells. Everyone's friendly, everything's affordable, and what's more: you feel good being there. Great spot for a pizza bite!

This was my first time at this location and it was just as delicious as the others I've been to! It was take-out only because of Covid. The order took about 20 minutes from when I called to when I picked it up. I love the way they make their pizzas- perfectly crispy crust, just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Yum! The bean burger was a very generous size and we got a gluten free bun for an extra charge. The beet salad was refreshing to go along with the pizza. I'll be back again soon for sure!

It has been a while since I wrote my last review of Positive Pie so it is time to update it. This is one of our top three pizza and beer places in Vermont. When you enter the door, the inside looks just like an old Wild West saloon. It's very rustic with a squeaky wooden floor, a long bar and about 12 tables. They always have around 20 beers on tap and a good selection of bottled beer if none of the draught beers are what you like. The pizza here is thin crust and quite good. They bring it out and put it up on a stand on your table so you have more room. Service is always excellent here. Parking is on the street and there is never a problem finding a space.

Friday night, "out of" gluten free pizza crusts?! The server was very nice about it but, hey: If it's on the menu, have it.

We were on vacation in NH this weekend and this place was an absolute must go. I got the half stack pancakes with plain chocolate chip, whole wheat blueberry, and their special which was oatmeal granola. All were absolutely amazing. My mom got the buttermilk blueberry and gingerbread walnut- these two are our absolute favorite combos. We also got a side of their homemade wheat toast and home fries. If you go, you must get their home fries because they are arguably the best item on the menu, besides pancakes of course lol. My dad got a ham and cheese omelette, with a choice of 2 or 3 eggs (he got 3), which comes with home fries and toast. I also tried their iced lattes for the first time ever and I'm disappointed I never got it before. I got an iced latte with salted caramel flavor and whip cream which was amazing. Their menu is full of variety and they are so many substitutions and add ons you can make. Different combos of pancake batter and toppings, cheese and onions on home fries, different flavors of toast, etc. All the employees are so friendly too. Every time we've eaten here, the waiter/waitress is always so kind and friendly and attentive. Our waitress today, Lisa, was especially awesome. The food comes out in a decent amount of time too. Beware that they get VERY VERY busy once camping season starts, around Memorial Day weekend and continuing throughout the summer. You could be looking at a wait time of at least 2 hours on a weekend in the summer if you get there after 8 or 9am. They don't take calls for a waitlist, you have to be there to put your name on a list to wait. Since we went early May, we had no wait whatsoever. Please give this place your business, they deserve it and will not disappoint!!!

Yesterday was the perfect opportunity to go, as I often times am in Barre when they are closed. I had the soup of the day, a Tonkatsu Pork Ramen described as a "rich pork broth, porchetta, wild mushrooms, fresh ramen." He'd asked me if I wanted a soy egg, which I should have asked what that was; I assume it was a fake egg versus an egg infused with soy sauce (next time, I will inquire), so I politely declined. It was a copious bowl of rich flavor: the porchetta was outstanding. The broth itself lacked a little flavor, initially, as I think I needed to mix the seasonings more. Once I did, YUM! My friend got the The Granite City, which is house maple-bourbon turkey, cheddar, cranberry mayo, LTO on cranberry pecan whole wheat. He asked if he could have it toasted (it was so chilly outside and we'd skied all morning) and Stefano said they don't normally do so, but sure, why not. My friend said it was delicious. Stefano later told us that he hadn't thought about toasting it before, as no one had ever asked, but he bet it was good. He was also really nice; he sells the Maple Sap Soda that I cannot find elsewhere and he was willing to sell us a six-pack. I considered it and then kind of forgot. I was tired from the cold and skiing. The food is great and the cafe is toasty and warm. I highly recommend.
