I highly recommend Town & Country Heating and Cooling Co…read more I noticed my AC was not blowing cold at about 10:30pm on Monday, September 28th. We were fortunate that the overnight temperature was in the lower 70's. I called T&C just after 8:00am the next morning (Tuesday, September 29th) and talked with Tara. She was very polite and personable. She was able to book an appointment for me for later on that morning (10:00am - 2:00pm). I was very pleasantly surprised that I could get an appointment that quick. The Service Technician (Ian) texted me when he was "on his way" and arrived around 11:00am. He evaluated the situation, performed some tests and determined that a capacitor had failed. He replaced the capacitor which corrected the problem. He thoroughly checked the entire system and cleaned the outside coil. He tested the performance of the cooling system and reviewed the results with me. He prepared a written report complete with pictures and graphs showing the test results and included in an email with a copy of the invoice. I chose to begin a Service Agreement which included a discount of the services completed on this and future visits. I was very satisfied with the entire process, especially the prompt response. The total cost was very reasonable in my opinion. If you need HVAC repairs or replacement, I suggest you call T&C and talk with Tara.

While that was good news, it would have been nice to learn that the previous night after I tried contacting them numerous times with absolutely NO response. Their reliance on AI is hideously misdirected. Town & Country has taken "people" out of their business. As a result, I was up most of the night weighing my options and deciding to reach out to another HVAC company around 8am. Then I saw the text from 7am. While relieved, I was incredibly annoyed. All new technologies are heavily sold by the businesses that deploy it without considering if it's appropriate for the customer. The objective is maximizing profits and the customers learn this too late. I'm confident this is the situation with Town & Country. They were "sold" the AI tech and it's ruining their business. I'm now waiting on a part for my HVAC and I'm not sure I'll stay with Town & Country and that's a shame. They have a lot of convincing to do. ============================================ 16 October 2026. We returned home this evening to discover the Bosch heat pump was providing NO heat, Town & Country touts emergency service but multiple attempts to get anyone to even phone me are futile. On 12 January 2026, we noticed the house was cold when we woke up. After looking at our thermostat, I tried to change the batteries to see if it fixed the problem which it did not. We called Patriot at 10:06 am, explained our problem, and got on their list to send out a technician. Mike arrived at 11:00 am to check out system to determine the problem. I explained what we experienced with our heating system that morning and then he began his trouble shooting. After checking the furnace fault codes and operation, Mike came upstairs to look at the thermostat. He stated he needed to hardwire the thermostat to the system which he did in a few minutes. When the furnace turned on, Mike went downstairs to monitor fault codes on the furnace. He stated the codes cleared and that is all we needed for the fix. Our heating system has been working just fine since this repair. We always receive prompt service response from Patriot as well as service we trust when Mike has performed work in our home. We highly recommend Patriot HVAC.

A neighbor's tree limb fell in the middle of the night during a storm and ripped the power lines straight off our house. While Evergy employees got up there to get it back on temporarily, it needed an electrician to properly remount and assemble the wires against the house. We got a few different quotes, and Overstreet's was very fair, but beyond that, I feel that James is trustworthy. He sized up the problem, didn't overdo it or try to turn it into a crazy big job like one of the others. It's also a Veteran-owned business, and again, his professionalism and knowledge made it the easy call to roll with him.
