We are very lucky to find Dave, we just recently moved in the Lincoln/Rocklin area, we were short of space in the garage, so we scheduled Dave to come in and help us to install ceiling storage racks in the garage. He came precisely at the scheduled time like a Swiss clock. :) Great service, great competitive cost and awesome installation of our new ceiling storage rack, a 5-star rating is still not good enough for Dave, I would give him 10-stars if I could !!! read more

I could not have been any more satisfied with the whole process of having Dave install my two fleximount overhead storage. I found Dave on Facebook Marketplace. He responded to my message within 24 hours. I explained I needed these mounts installed. He provided a fair quote and I scheduled the appointment. Dave showed up exactly the time and day he said he would. Dave is a very nice personable man with a good attention to detail. He took his time and finished the job in a few hours. I highly recommend his service and have nothing negative to say about the whole process! Quality work, fair price, and a wholesome guy. Thanks again Dave! read more

I had dave install 5 saferacks and did a great job. He ensures they are securely placed and offer greats customer service. Recommend!

Great service and awesome installation of our new ceiling storage rack. We had previously used Dave when we first move in to install ceiling storage racks above the garage door unfortunately as time went on we ran out of space and needed another one installed. We scheduled a install date and he came out at the scheduled time and installed another rack and it came out great! Will use again in the near future if we decide to install more ceiling racks and will recommend him to our neighbors. read more

Positive Connections was awesome. Dave showed up on time. We discussed the project again for clarity. He installed four huge overhead storage racks (three 4x8' and one 4x6') in about 3 hours (including lunch). All of them were flawless, level and at the requested height. He even did some touch ups on some areas where the paint was chipped during shipping. He cut some of the unnecessarily long pieces down to the appropriate size for visual appeal too. All in all, there's not anything I could say negative. At my old house, I installed 3 similar racks over 3 separate weekends, each with a small crew of people to help. Dave knocked it out in a small fraction of the time it would have taken us with the bonus of professional appeal. Besides the old analogy of time being money, time is also time, and Dave saved us a ton. Thanks Dave. I'll definitely be using you again for future jobs. read more

Dave was fantastic from beginning to end. Answered all of my questions promptly before we scheduled an appointment. He was on time the day we scheduled. Installed two 4x8 racks above our garage door. They look great. Also appreciated his input on where to put the racks since I was not entirely sure of location in the beginning. Appreciate his professionalism and service! read more

Dave is incredible! He was able to assemble my new cabinet in like, 20 minutes - it would've taken me 7 hours to put that thing together! His pricing is extremely reasonable and I will definitely use his services again any time I buy a new piece of furniture (especially stuff from IKEA) that needs to be assembled! Save yourself the hassle and stress of trying to assemble your new furniture and call Dave w/ Positive Connections! read more

These guys are fantastic. I wonder now all these years why I wasted so much time putting together IKEA furniture. I used this father and son crew to help me out together an external shed. The comments online said it would take 7 hours to put together but they finished in just 3 hours and did a fantastic job! I highly recommend them. Dave stayed connected via yelp with me as I waited for delivery and was always prompt with communications. Look no further for affordable help in putting together those purchases that require assembly. read more

Dave was very knowledgeable on installing the overhead storage racks and was very punctual. He knocked it out quick and even hung on it himself to show how sturdy it was. His work was very detailed and all the beams were leveled. He even helped me with a door issue which was very nice of him. I will not only be using him in the future but also will be recommending him to others. read more

Dave scheduled a date and time to install my garage racks for me. Like others the day of the install Dave was a no show. No call, no text, nothing. I called his phone several times that day with no answer. I took the day off work and paid for a babysitter to watch my kids so I could help with the install since like others I have stuff in my garage. So now I am out a PTO day. I ended up re-scheduling with Shawn from Garage Busters after finding him from a review on here. Dave stop wasting people's time and posting on ~craigslistss if your going to be yet another flake looking for work. read more

Scheduled an appointment to assemble furniture weeks in advance. Confirmed one night before. NO SHOW. No call or text. Didn't respond to either. Now I have to scramble to find someone else at the last minute. I understand that things happen and schedules change. But the fact that he couldn't even be bothered to text a heads up and instead pulled a disappearing act shows zero regard for his customers. Stay away. read more

This review is overdue since Dave finished work for us over 3 months ago! Dave is pretty amazing. He did an awesome job assembling all of our outdoor furniture which included a park bench, a chat set and a bistro set. He also assembled my vanity set. As he was putting together our bistro set, he noticed that our chairs were malfunctioned and the holes for the screws weren't aligned properly. Dave went above and beyond by helping us exchange the set at the store (he has a very decent size work van and our cars were not big enough for storage). His prices were very reasonable and he was super efficient. We are extremely happy with Dave's work and will not hesitate to call him again for any future assembling needs. Thanks again Dave!!! read more

The services were great & he was very professional. I will definitely use Positive Connections again! read more

Dave did an excellent job assembling a fireplace insert I got from Home Depot! Came right on time and did a great job quickly. I just hate "assembly required" for complicated furniture projects, Also his price was very reasonable. read more

Had a very positive experience with Positive Connections. Showed up exactly on time for our 9 AM appointment. I had the garage overhang racks installed and everything was done as discussed. Work was perfectly done and I'm a happy customer. No leave behind mess for me to deal with either. read more

I can honestly say that Dave is an honest, responsible and customer service oriented small business owner, that cares about his work, the quality, and overall customer service. When I realized that I was over my head getting the safe racks installed in my new garage, I called Dave and left a voicemail on Wednesday afternoon. I received a call back about 30 minutes later, and made an appointment for Dave to come to my house on Friday morning. Dave called when he was on his way and provided an estimated ETA, arrived on time, and he got the racks installed in 1 hour. Over the weekend I had a question for Dave, he answered the call the first time, and agreed for him to come back for a small adjustment. He said that he would call me next time he was in the area next week. To my surprise, I received a call the following Monday, that he would be in the area and wanted to stop by if I was available. Coincidentally I was working from home, so he came by and in 10 minutes he completed the tweak. I wish all businesses and business owners would operate and manage their business like Dave does. He is reliable, fair, and very personable person. I would hire Dave without hesitation in the future as needed. read more

I decided to contact Dave based on his two 5-star reviews on Yelp. I should have shifted my focus on the one 1-star review instead. We're in the process of moving into our new house and I wanted two 8x4 SafeRacks professionally installed before our big move. I contacted Dave about three weeks before we close escrow. He had good communication via text message and he even set aside time on Saturday, 9/3 to come out to see the model homes and my home since the garage ceiling had a weird layout due to fire sprinklers. He did his measurements and confirmed that he will be able to install the 8x4 racks or if one did not fit, he'll swap one for a 8x3 or 6x4 rack. He asked if Saturday, 9/10 would work. I said yes. He gave me two time options, 8AM or 9AM. I told him 9AM. Fast forward to Saturday, 9/10 at 9:15AM. I text Dave if we were still on for that morning. No response. I decided to call Dave at 10AM and left him a voicemail. No response. So Dave pretty much messed up the logistics of my move. I had planned on applying epoxy on my garage floor after Dave installed the rack, but since he never showed up, I had to scramble and find someone else to professionally install the racks. I ended up applying the epoxy two days ago and is still waiting for it to completely dry. I had to reschedule my move out house cleaners and carpet cleaners for the current rental house. I agree with the 1-star reviewer. A text or call would have been greatly appreciated. read more

Dave just finished assembling a dresser for me yesterday. I tend to be a "no sugarcoat" reviewer so I can assure you he deserves the 5 stars, otherwise I would not rate him that high. He was very courteous, showed up a little before he was supposed to, worked quietly and efficiently, cleaned up well and the actually item was assembled VERY well! No complaints whatsoever. He even went a little below his initial fee because there were other assemblers out there that were around the same price. He not only matched price but, again, went a little below. His quality of work was worth every penny. I would definitely recommend him and request his services personally again as well. read more

Needed a tv stand assembled. Dave was on time, professional and put it together in no time. Great work! Thx Dave

I had a great experience. Gary installed three Saferacks in my garage. Scheduling the appointment was very easy. Gary was prompt and completed the job within the alotted time. I am pleased with the quality of the job. The cost was reasonable, and less than what the "authorized installers" quoted. read more

We had Dave install a few SafeRacks at our first house and that all went smoothly and we were impressed but when we moved into our new house he was a complete no-show. Similar to other 1-star reviews I read here, he was just totally MIA at the time of the appointment (we had to take an hour off work to wait around for him). I called numerous times, texted, and even Facebook messaged him (and could even see that he had received the FB messages) but not any communication back. Positive Connections is extremely unreliable and I would suggest calling Shawn with Garage Busters (415-453-2323) if you need SafeRack install in the greater Sacramento region. read more

I ordered an 8x4 SafeRacks storage shelf for my garage from Amazon that included free installation. Dave being a SafeRacks vendor/installer was the one did my installation. He showed up ontime and rocked it out for me very quickly and professionally. He took the time to spray paint any part of the rack where any of the paint chipped from the install then sweep my entire garage! Normally, I'm not one who writes a ton of reviews, but his attention to detail and professionalism commanded some praise. I'm definitely calling Dave if I need more Garage organization. My fiancé and his dad tried to install our safe rack in our garage but encountered enough issues that we realized we needed a professional to get the job done.
