I have gone here for several years, and I always buy the 'classic wash' 2 washes for 1 price - for the discount. They give you a voucher for the 2nd wash and when you're ready for another wash you give them the voucher. However this last time I went to give them the voucher, the gentlemen told me that this voucher was not for their car wash. I don't buy this deal anywhere else or go to any other car washes, I tried explaining this and he was adamant that it was not for their car wash. I tried calling the company twice and left messages regarding this and have received no response. So unfortunately, I am taking my business elsewhere and I advise others not to buy their 2 for 1 car wash special as they may not be good for their word. read more

On April 21st, I went to PoshWash in Hanover. I have the unlimited wash package so I'm there at least 3 times per week, I've been going there for years. This time towards the very end of the carwash, the blow dryer lifted my rear wiper and a brush grabbed the wiper, twisted my hatch and broke the window. I will need a new hatch, window, wiper arm, wiper motor, wiper blade, and I have countless scrapes in the vinyl and leather in my car from the glass breaking. The owner of poshwash was quick to tell me he would cover all the damages, that is until he heard the cost to fix it, $3,100 exactly. Now he's saying this was all my fault and he's not paying a dime, and refuses to give me his insurance information. He actually told me to "give it a break" and hung up on me when asking for his insurance. I've been warned about going to poshwash since they took new ownership but I never had a problem, until this happened. I'm not telling you to stay away from poshwash, but just look at the pictures of my car and the damage that was caused and ask yourself if you want to deal with something like this. My car is a 2006, the cost of the damage is going to total my car, and to not get an ounce of sympathy from of the owner is ridiculous. read more

You gotta take the good with the bad here, "A-OK" sums up the experience nicely. I decided to go here because of the good reviews, free vacuums, and because they have hot wax, though I don't really know if there's a proven benefit. I have a road trip coming up, so I thought... why not? I opted for the poshest wash they have, which includes all the bells and whistles, Rain-X, hot wax, tire shine, and a nanoclean guarantee ($28). To be honest, I though nanoclean was some wash technology (didn't quite see it was a guarantee), turns out it just gives you a coupon ($12) if you have your car re-washed in 7 days. The added benefit of this tier versus the one below it is you get both Rain-X and tire shine versus having to choose. That said, I'm not the biggest fan of this pricing structure. and extra $6 for either a tire-shine or Rain-X plus a coupon that doesn't fully cover a basic wash, and expires in 7 days seems excessive. But, I fell for it, so perhaps it worked? Albeit once. The wash itself was a fairly standard tunnel fed system. However, the drying stage is a little different than I'm used to. You go through the blowers fast, and there is huge towel-like thing that descends to dry your car off further. The wash worked in the sense that my car was clean, well, almost. Unless you then grab one of the towels from the hand drying station (not a whole lot of room there), you will be left with plentiful water spots! I will say that I'm a fan of the free vacuums! While they're not the most powerful ones I've used, and the nozzles can be clogged, they get the job done. It might take a little more time, but when it's free you aren't dropping in extra quarters. So, overall while the free vacuum are awesome, the water spots put a dent in a glimmering clean. Also, they are perhaps a little overpriced, forcing you to cough up an extra 6 bucks for Rain-X and Tire-Shine as opposed to one or the other. read more

If you have the unlimited club don't plan on canceling it as they won't cancel after multiple tries and no response to messages to company. I have had to cancel my card so they can't charge me in the future to make sure it's cancelled. My vehicle never comes out clean always with soap still on rear and mirrors and also still wet. At first I thought because it had unlimited it was well worth the drive but after giving them a try for a few months with no changes I'm done. I would rather pay extra at another car wash in area that I have been using as my vehicle is clean and dry every time without having to towel dry after. read more

Half the vacuums are out of order when i go and the majority also have broken or clogged nozzles. Very frustrating. When i addressed with attendant, he said "they should all be working." I said, "you can see the broken nozzles from the wash entrance and there are cones in front of 3 out of use stations..." He shrugged and turned away. Tunnel washes are total throwbacks... to when I was born. Force fed through a chute to a brighter, cleaner start, and for the moments after you emerge, the whole world looks at you differently. I can say wholeheartedly, however, that there were no dual-sided, complimentary vacuums present at my birth. So, in a sense, Posh Wash has one-upped procreation. The Jeep was winter wrecked, and in dire need of an exterior scrub. Opted for the Posh Wash Plus ($25), which includes fierce undercarriage attention (like my birth), as well as a wax and shine (no wax on my delivery date). At first, I'd say this price tag is steep - but here's the hack you must know: 1) it includes a 7-day rewash guarantee, and 2) your wash in 50% off with a Yelp check-in. That $25 wash becomes two $6.25 washes... just like that! Staff knew the scoop and had it the system down. Only suggestions: definitely offer to remove the antennae for non-retractable car types, and maybe slow the track down a smidge - felt a bit fast. Still, the whip looked great, and all the other new moms and old folk approached me soon after to pinch my car's cheeks. I named her Libby, by the way. read more

As a real estate agent I need to keep my car clean. I pay one simple monthly fee and get unlimited washes. This works out great for me on my way to appointments. I brought my car to Posh Wash after stopping at the police station. The gentleman at the car wash was wonderful and let me go thru the car wash twice as it did not all come off the first time. Very disappointed in their customer service. I paid $17 for a wash/wax. Went down the street and got some lunch, upon getting out of the car it was still covered in salt. Went back to ask about going through the carwash again. They were doing a repair on the carwash that was going to take an undetermined amount of time. The force of the arm shattered my grill and dented my hood on X3, costing me over $300 to replace the kidney shaped grill and having dent wizard remove the dent. i've been going here since i first got behind the wheel. it's inexpensive (when compared with other car washes) for a premium wash, when necessary, but i'm usually too broke to splurge on a wash. plus, it usually rains a day or two after. but when i do, there's never any streaking, and the towels are always clean. the 25¢ vacuums are great. they've got better suction than the one at home, and there's no $1 minimum for it - so if you need to do a quick sweep, just reach in your pocket for some spare change. i really like that the original sign's been there forever, too. read more

Let me tell you I took my car to several places in Quincy and Dorchester and no one could get the stains out. The staff is always pleasant and well trained and my vehicle always looks great! The new drying system nearly leaves your car dry as a bone but if you want that extra dry the Microfiber towels they provide are the best. I'm sorry to rain on the parade here, but I'm not happy with this car wash. I fill up my car at a Shell station near my house that is affiliated with this car wash where I buy the $20 deluxe car wash and get my gas at a discount. The last 2 times I brought my car in (which was really not heavily dirty) and had a gray film all over the car when it dried. I used their towels to try to dry off the car in their lot (because it doesn't come out of the tunnel very dry here), and get the water off my glass sun roof, mirrors, and dry the chrome and wheels. When I was through, I drove the car home, and used a shop vac to vacuum my interior. I aired the car out with the windows open in the garage, then when I rolled them up again, and they were filthy from rinse water caught in the window tracks. Gray water stains dried on my sunroof, and I tried running my hand over the paint, which turned my hand grey. This was less than 2 miles from the building, on a sunny day. I have to conclude that both times the rinse water was really dirty. You shouldn't have to rewash your whole car by hand right after a car wash you paid $20 for. I'll give them one more shot, but if they leave dirty gray rinse water stains all over my car again I am not coming back. Please clean your rinse water system! My car was almost dirtier looking than when I drove it in. read more

Had my car washed here and car went off the belt halfway through the wash. There was significant damage to my car. Manager Chris offered to pay for damage if I used his body shop person. My insurance agency directed me to their own body shop and now posh wash will not settle with insurance company. There is a sign up saying they will pay for all damages.
