I decided to try this salon out because of the great reviews but noticed there were no ethnic clients' photos, which made me a little skeptical but I decided to have faith in their skills. The location is convenient for me since I do my grocery shopping and my nails within 0.5 miles from the salon. The interior is immaculate and modern; staff were friendly and genuinely concerning; prices are even better. Albeit, I was one of the first black clients in this particular shop, they exceeded my expectations and did a better job than my regular hair stylist (no shade). They were very attentive to my hair type and needs, giving honest feedback and suggestions. I can proudly say, ANYONE with hair that is told is "hard to manage", this salon does not shy away from a challenge, and will style your hair with love and precision. I will definitely be returning.

Different technicians have serviced me, but mostly it's Linda who helps me. Of course there is a language barrier, but that doesn't stop the professionalism and care from shining through. This is a multi- faceted salon: hair, nails, eyebrows, lashes and I'm hoping they start doing facials. While I don't go there to get my hair styled or cut, I do see the ladies who walk out with a prideful swag, swinging their hair back and forth. My hair has never felt and looked this alive beautiful and healthy. I needed a color correction so badly and she truly was so knowledgeable and knew how to fix it in less than two hours!! I've driven by many times, and being new to the area, I finally called and asked about their services and went in for a cut and full highlight. All of the staff went above and beyond to help me. From washing, to highlighting, to cutting I was amazed at how particular they were to make sure everything they were doing was perfect. 3 people worked on me at once! All were so friendly and nice. This is by far the best cut/color I've ever had. All I did was say what length and color range I was looking for and trusted them to do rest. Glad I did! Alex is masterful with the scissors. He took so much time to explain to me different techniques he was using and how it would frame my face and take the weight out of areas of my hair. The stylist does not cut layers well, so please go somewhere else if you want layers. Coloring is good they try to get it as accurate to your picture as possible. I'm ngl the only reason why I still come here is 1. Local business and 2. They're the only place nearby that does Japanese hair straightening and they do that beautifully.
