Now they offer both indoor and outdoor facilities for all the pups in daycare which is such a plus. They have always taken good care of our boys and it's nice to have a facility you can depend on. Beaufort is a bit behind in services for pets, but we are thrilled to have at least one place where we can trust the staff, and know that our pups are in good hands. They also offer grooming and boarding.

We had a small hiccup with our vaccination record but the staff recommended a vet nearby and we were able to get the vaccine that we needed for her stay. They were so accommodating. We picked up our baby after a week stay and she was smelling so fresh and clean! They were able to bath her before pick up. Definitely recommend the Evergreen Pet Lodge and will be coming back!

I volunteered to assist, and was appalled at the mess in the kennel. It was disgusting and the smell was terrible. I don't think either of their kennels had been cleaned at all. On top of that my cat was terrified. When we got home he did not allow either of us to touch him for several days, and it took two baths to remove the stench from both of our cats. We will never board our cats there again. Terrible way to treat two cats.

I took my 9 year old King Charles cavalier mix to be groomed there. The only positive I can say is…read morethe price point but even then I would rather pay the extra $20 to take her anywhere else. The woman told me upon drop off that it would take about 3 hours (normal) for her to perform a full groom. She called me 1.5 hours after drop off claiming that she was done. Upon pick up my dog was running around freely sitting at the door and instead of picking up the leash to pull her back, she practically kicked her back. My dog was still wet under the ears and her undercoat was still damp. My dog already is prone to ear infections due to her floppy like ears so the fact that she wasn't properly dried really bothered me. I can tell that she was bathed from her fresh smell but as for the groom it doesn't look like she had been anything but brushed out and bathed. Before arriving to pick her up I asked the woman if I could bring my other two dogs for a walk in nail trimming and she said it would be fine. When she goes to trim my dogs nail she didn't put her up on the table (that was vacant behind her) to make the job easier and with the first nail she goes to cut she cut it WAY too short causing my dog to not only bleed pretty bad, but yelp out in pain At this point I was uncomfortable and told her to not worry about it but she said it was "okay" and that she "could get them done". After trying to pull at her leg to try and cut the next nails I told her to stop and then she said my dogs nails didn't need to be cut to begin with (which is not the case). Overall the experience was very nerve-racking for me as a dog-owner. The woman was NOT personable, very awkward to talk to/converse with. And she did not apologize for any of what my dog experienced or what I had to see. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Their Vet in New York was absolutely wonderful and understood how neurotic I can be when it comes to my dogs. Dr. Fetterman and the rest of the staff are wonderful. Dr. Fetterman also understands and manages how I can be when it comes to them. I just lost my boy Riley on Monday June 9, 2025. Riley was my world and loved unconditionally; he was a kumbaya boy; my travel buddy, my boat ride or die and my swimming partner (you jump...I jump) for 16 wonderful years. He was a brother, a best friend and a playmate to Cooper for 11 years. To get back on topic...they both have/had separation anxiety (Riley a bit more than Cooper). Dr. Fetterman was the only Vet to put Riley on a medication that actually worked. Dr. Fetterman and the rest of the staff at Sea Island genuinely care for both fur-baby and human.
