I moved my 2 dogs to this vet after having a bass experience with the forever one. Although I came in today when they were super busy, they greeted me with a smile. When I got my dog settled in the second front desk person asked if I had been helped, which I had. Then the vet tech took us into a room and asked why we were there. We wanted a re-check because our dog has recently been treated for bacterial and worm problem. She was still having loose stools and we wanted to make sure that the problem was gone. We also wanted to find out if she needed thyroid because she has lost all of her hair since we moved here. The vet tech said that she could draw blood and test it while we waited if that's what we wanted. Or we could leave and she could call us with the results. I thought that giving us a choice was awesome. She also asked if we wanted to see the vet, or if she could take care of us. I thought that was really nice because my husband and I are on a budget, and it probably costs more if you see a vet. In any case, we didn't really need to see the vet, and the office was pretty busy, so we declined. We had opted to wait for the test results, in case we needed to buy more medicine. We didn't want to have to come back. Also, even though this vet will give us prescription that we can take anywhere, we don't mind buying our prescriptions here, because they are so nice. That wasn't true with the other vet. We did not want to buy our prescriptions from him, and he actually chose to charge us $25, to give us a prescription so that we could buy our flea medication online. All in all our two experiences here were great.

Dr. Rhonda Caudill is the best veterinarian I've ever met. I've been to so many veterinarians in my life and I'm at a loss for words for how amazing she is. If anyone in the area is looking for a vet please consider Dr. Caudill. She has been working hard to aid my chihuahua back into good health. I'm seriously blown away with how much she cares about us. I've never experienced such empathy and care from a veterinarian before. My chihuahua is so happy and has a good route ahead of her, where other vets said there was nothing they can do. The bills only included what was done at the vet- where other vets have overcharged me like crazy. She has called to check up on us and I feel so special. Most importantly, my chihuahua is feeling so much better.

Previous Review: Good vets, but I always seem to get "extra" services. I bring in a postcard from them showing what they need to do, but there are always things that somehow did not end up on the postcard. So, I feel like they give good service, but that is tainted by the up-sell I always seem to get there. They do seem unable to answer a question directly. Updated Review: I found a lump on my dog and, after two appointments where the vet DID NOT notice and I pointed it out, I was told it was probably nothing. I was uncomfortable with that and asked that it be removed. The lump was removed from our dog and there was a four inch incision. They closed that with four staples. It kept coming open and we went back several times over the Thanksgiving holidays (and yes..paid for it several times) for it to be closed up again. At one point, I had to take our dog back because it was so open you could stick your finger in it. They seem to think I was irrational for wanting better treatment for my dog. I have since changed vets and I asked for my records to be sent to the new vet. They were not sent within a four week time period and I paid for new tests because there were no records. Their doctor finally called me to "discuss" the issues after my Facebook review. He said he did not want a bad review. He ended up blaming me and the new vet for the issues (new vet should have called his offices before doing new test). During this call, I was also told that the lump I found was cancerous - which I was not told prior. From last Nov 2014 to May 2015, I spent thinking that I caused my dog to have a painful experience for no reason - knowing it was cancer makes me feel better about my instincts at least and our struggle. I finally received copies of the records and it was a running editorial of half of our discussions (the half from the techs point of view). As I read them out to my husband, he kept saying - "that's not what happened." Are they good vets? Mostly. Their customer service and inability to explain charges is an issue. Their communication is an issue. They give you a lot of we can do X,Y, or Z. Their human skills suffer. The real point is that changing vets is a hassle and people do not do it unless they feel they HAVE TO do it. Seeing my dog in pain for months with a slice that they would not close up and their medical advice of keep her still (she is a 100 lb Bulldog) - that was more painful than changing vets, so we did and feel better about their care.

Our Tails are Wagging for Jill’s Pet Sitting

Shortly before her week stay, she informed us that one of her trusted employees would be sitting and she would monitor her during that week. We interviewed the employee and although we were not happy with the change, (on that short of notice) we were stuck. We left on a Sunday (Giving her a two page overview of our Dog's needs/habits along with phone numbers to vet, us, etc.) and returned the following Sunday afternoon. Two of the three water bowls were dirty and empty, although the main bowl had just been filled, patio door open. Over the next week we got reports of from our next-door neighbors that our dog was left in the patio though-out at least one night alone! We then found out earlier in the week she was left out in the yard during the day, again no one was here. In fact our normal sitter whom was working across the street told us that over the week she seldom saw anyone during the day ,let alone at night!!!! My Wife called Jill the day we were made aware of the mistreatment and why we would never use her again. Jill said she would investigate our claims,( but why did it take several days to let her know?) , and she would get back to us.. I talked with her (a few days later as I was livid when I found out) again only to hear this was not her fault and but she fired the other lady (whom had worked for her at almost one year!) Jill did not offer an apology , but said she would refund the 600 plus dollars. We have not received anything in the month since this occurred. My last phone conversation with her, she emphatically said we would not need to talk ever again. I hope this opens some eyes to the obviously poor business practices. The mistreatment of an animal that cannot speak for themselves is inexcusable. We will never use or recommend her to anyone. Be aware!

I was new to the area and needed someone to walk my dog during the day. I treat my dog like a baby (we don't have children) and am a little neurotic leaving her. I am SOOO happy I found Stefanie. She is AWESOME. I could text her the night before and tell her I needed her the next day and she was always so accommodating. I felt 100% comfortable giving her a key and letting her walk my 8 week old (now 8 month old) puppy. She is so caring and is not scared to text you at work if something is wrong. My puppy is an escape artist and managed to climb over the gate we had in place. Stefanie did not hesitate to text me at work and tell me that the dog met her at the door and Stefanie wanted to know what she should do to make sure my dog was safe before she left. I love trustworthy people. She would even bring the mail and any packages in for me... in addition to cleaning any puppy surprises the dog had left during the day. She really does treat your dog as her own. Long story short, I recently moved out of the area and am so scared I won't find someone as amazing as Stefanie. I really cannot say enough good things about her. I never had to worry when I worked 12 hour shifts with a puppy at home knowing she would be available whenever and wherever to help me out. She even texts me 2 months after I moved to see how my dog is doing now. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this business! Thank you for everything, Stefanie! We miss you!

I brought them to the Bark Shack for grooming this morning and it could not have gone better. I prefer that they NOT be in cages and was very pleased that they were not. They both hung out with the groomer until she was finished and she notified me they were ready for pick up. They were terrifically "cleaned, dried and shined" and did not seem to have any issues at all with being new to the groomer and the venue. The price was very reasonable and the groomer followed all instructions and was extremely polite and efficient. I would highly recommend for grooming!

*AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!*…read more I'm still fuming as I write this review about the absolute worst doggy daycare experience I've ever had the misfortune of encountering. My poor pup was subjected to neglect, mistreatment, and what can only be described as a chaotic, dirty nightmare. From the moment we walked in, I knew something was off. The staff seemed apathetic, the facilities were filthy, and the smell was overwhelming. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe it was just a bad day. The real horror show began when I picked up my dog. He was shaking, whimpering, and covered in dirt and stains. The staff had the nerve to tell me he was "just being dramatic" and that he had a great time. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Further investigation revealed that my dog was left in a cramped, unsanitary enclosure with no supervision, and the staff seemed more interested in scrolling through their phones than caring for the animals in their charge. The final straw was when I saw photos of the daycare's "activities" on social media, and my dog was clearly visible, cowering in the corner, while other dogs were jumping on top of him. UNACCEPTABLE. I demand better for my pet. I demand better from any business that claims to care for animals. If you value your pet's safety, well-being, and happiness, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. *UPDATE:* I've since spoken to the management, and they're trying to sweep this under the rug. Don't believe their empty apologies and excuses. Trust me, you don't want to risk your pet's well-being to this dump.
