I have left my two pups with Rene over the period of three weeks. Not only did she send me updates and pictures daily, she responded to all of my questions and concerns, she also rushed my dog to the vet when he got sick. Rene bought and cooked food for my dog to follow a specific diet the vet recommended. I know my dogs got plenty of love and care while I was away, and I wouldn't hesitate leaving them in Rene's care again.

Their Vet in New York was absolutely wonderful and understood how neurotic I can be when it comes to my dogs. Dr. Fetterman and the rest of the staff are wonderful. Dr. Fetterman also understands and manages how I can be when it comes to them. I just lost my boy Riley on Monday June 9, 2025. Riley was my world and loved unconditionally; he was a kumbaya boy; my travel buddy, my boat ride or die and my swimming partner (you jump...I jump) for 16 wonderful years. He was a brother, a best friend and a playmate to Cooper for 11 years. To get back on topic...they both have/had separation anxiety (Riley a bit more than Cooper). Dr. Fetterman was the only Vet to put Riley on a medication that actually worked. Dr. Fetterman and the rest of the staff at Sea Island genuinely care for both fur-baby and human. They told me my dog was not able to come without even meeting the dog. What a pompous place! A really good daycare would interview the dog and know whether or not it would be acceptable. This place is more interested in the "posh" than the "pooch". If your dog is not one of the designer dogs (no mixed breeds) you need not apply. I would suggest dog lovers go elsewhere.
