Won't be going back. My poor dog had been nicked on her stomach and has been licking her wound all day.

We have been coming here for a few years. They treat our dogs with care and we feel safe leaving our dogs with them. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a groomer with love and care read more

So these ladies are amazing! They treated my fur baby so well and I could not ask for anything better. I will only recommend them from this point on. Our story began: we just found out that our best dog ever, Diesel, has bladder cancer and there isn't anything we can do because of a few variables. We decided that since we only have a very short time with him we would pamper him and take him on one last epic vacation. I made several calls and no one would fit us in until I called Posh. These ladies gave him the best spa day ever. He was so happy when I picked him up. Thank you for giving our boy a great experience. My heart will forever be grateful. read more

My groomer had her children help her when I had my older dog in for a grooming. They snapped her collar on after she was groomed and pinched her neck in the collar. It took a giant chunk of skin out of her neck and I didn't find it until it became infected and was oozing pus. $200 vet visit later and not a word from the groomer when I told her about it. Also, after Covid hit, I questioned why they weren't wearing masks and I suspect that's why I never could get a call back. Very unprofessional. read more

Took my dog in for a grooming appointment the day before Thanksgiving. Had been to this groomer several times before and everything had been fine. When I picked my dog up after grooming this time he was nicked all over, razor burned, was over heated and traumatized! The dog needs prescription shampoo for skin allergies which I took in with him and it was not used. His nails were not clipped. I had emergency surgery that weekend so was unable to handle this with the owner. When I did reach out to her on Dec. 17th she was rude, made excuses, and then blamed me for not having the dog groomed often enough (I guess every 6 weeks is not enough?)! The owner was more concerned with blaming me and making excuses than listening to what I had to say. They had no concern whatsoever with my dogs health, safety and welfare. I will never, never, ever take my dog there again! read more

I don't normally check in, or review anything but restaurants but my experience here made the exception. This was my first doggy grooming experience and I was really excited. The receptionist and surrounding staff were rude and uninviting. I wanted to walk out the moment I walked to the building. The receptionist was very unhelpful as to what would be ideal for my dog. When I was paying, there was a blank space to add a tip on the receipt. I like to tip according to how good/bad the service was. I had yet to see my dog and frankly I didn't know how much to tip a groomer. I wrote down $6. The groomer looked down at the paper in disgust and stepped away and rummaged through her purse. When she returned, she said "I entered in the computer that you had tipped me $10 instead of $6, since it already processed, here's $4 cash from my purse". Really?? You assumed I was going to tip you $10 for your crappy attitude? To top it all off, my dog came out looking mangled. Long hairs and chunks all over. Very uneven work. My husband was even surprised. I was very disappointed, especially after paying $50 for a job I could have done with scissors. I will never return. read more

I am fairly new to living in Tucson and was conflicted as to where to take our poodle for grooming. I found Posh Paws while driving in the shopping center and decided to call. They did an AMAZING job on my poodle! The groomer was so gentle with our doggy, as he is skittish. She was so comforting for him and he seemed to calm down. The haircut/shampoo/etc...were all done professionally and he looked awesome. His fur was so soft (I wonder what it is they use?) and is still soft, after 2 weeks! The salon is very clean, the employees are super-friendly and it's a local business, which I always try to make an effort to visit. I will so be going back! read more

I've taken my pommy here twice for a trim and have loved how he turned out. Alhough the first time I went here, his right ear's fur was cut straight and it wasn't pointy like the other side. I believe the groomer probably slipped and cut the fur there by accident. The second time, he came out looking perfect and extra fluffy. I'm glad I gave them another shot! read more

I haven't had a chance to send anything but I wanted to let everyone know about Posh Paws. I have a 2 year old Yorkie who I would fight with to give a haircut every time. He was adopted and obviously had a rough time (not sure if he was abused or not). I was so nervous taking him to get a cut but...Beth (I think that was her name), was comforting to us both and took the time to give him the most amazing haircut ever. He looks great and I couldn't be happier with the care they gave my little guy. I highly recommend Posh Paws to anyone. Thank you so much. read more

I've been taking my puppy to Posh Paws for about 4 years now. It's a bit of a drive for me but I still go there. All the groomers there are very nice and they take very good care of my sweet, nervous little dog. She always looks beautiful after her grooming. read more

Today I took my two dachshunds in for nail trims. They are not the easiest dogs to work with. My Charlie went first and the groomer (so sorry I don't have her name) was extremely kind and patient with him. He's a bit of a grumpy old man, but she could not have been nicer throughout the ordeal. Next came my Daisy who is a bit high strung. She wanted nothing to do with this process, but the groomer was again very patient. Then, Michi, the owner came in and helped out by playing with and trying to distract Daisy. These two ladies went above and beyond to soothe and reassure my dogs. Michi even gave Daisy a duckie toy to take home. I highly recommend Posh Paws. Excellent customer service! Thanks again, ladies. Your kindness to my Charlie and Daisy is so appreciated. read more

Had an appointment for our small dog to be groomed at noon. At 4:00pm, we still hadn't heard from them to say he was ready, so my husband went to pick him up. When he got there, THEY HAD JUST STARTED TO GROOM HIM. My husband was furious that our dog had been in a cage for four hours, but all the staff member said was that they were "really busy." Seriously? With an appointment? Oh, and no water or bathroom breaks for our boy either, as was evident when we got him home. We were customers of Posh Paws for five years, but we would never trust this place with our "kids" again. Would you? read more

The staff was super friendly, my pup didn't seem to mind going in. My only complaint is she was still a little stinky, like she wasn't properly washed. They barely trimmed her and she had a lot of shedding when she was done , but she's a golden retriever so it was to be expected. read more

The girl shaved my dog down to the scalp. I told her to do a traditional Schnauzer cut. When I went to pick up my dog, she had urinated in the cage. Never has that happened in our home or her crate in 10 years. The groomer had a "friend" behind the counter she was entertaining. Maybe she could have taken my dog outside for a potty break.Won't be returning. read more

I was very disappointed with my second visit to Posh Paws. The groomer forgot to clean the ears and cut my dog's nails. Also they have the customer pay before they bring your dog out which I never have done over my ten years of going to groomers. Finally, when I inspected her paws, one had been cut. Needless to say, I will not be back again. read more

Horrible experience. I dropped my dog off and was told she may need her ears shaved due to matting. After she had been there an hour I got a call saying her matting was so bad she would need a total shave down. This is not typical for a standard poodle, and I have never had a groomer who was unable to remove matting before. It came as a surprise as when I was dropping my dog off, there was no mention of this while the groomer looked her over and discussed her grooming plans. I was also taken aback she had not even started grooming her after one hour. I asked if there was a reduction in price as shaving a dog down to one length does not require the skill level scissoring a poodle does. I was rudely told to just come pick up my dog and hung up on. When I arrived the groomer refused to look me in the eye and didn't say a word as she brought my dog out. I asked if she was the owner and at first she didn't answer. When she finally answered that she was not and told me who the owner was, I told her I would be discussing her rudeness with the owner. At that point she proceeded to blame me. I explained the cause of my frustration and she still refused to acknowledge it. She ended the interaction by telling me I needed to try taking care of my dog and she refused to "hurt an animal for my convenience". I took my dog home and VERY EASILY brushed out her top knot. There was zero matting. I gently brushed through her ears and was able to get through the matting after a few minutes. Frankly, the issue appears to be the groomer is either inexperienced, lazy or both. She should not be allowed to interact with customers anymore since she cannot seem to be polite or professional. read more

I will never go anywhere else in Tucson. My poodles are my world and one of them wears his emotions on his face for days afterward. After several bad experiences elsewhere I decided to try Posh Paws. My boys will walk in with the groomers as opposed to be dragged in (like other places) and they walk out with a hop in their step. The groomers are great about the poodle styles too, I don't want my boys looking frilly so they usually get a Mohawk and the groomers get a kick out of it as much as I do. The staff is always friendly and fun as well as alerting me to anything I need to know about my boys. It is well worth the drive across town to have happy, well cared for and fun dogs walk out. read more

Great service! I was able to get my long-hair doxie in the next day for an over due shampoo and cut. He came out looking mighty fine. Piper will definitely be returning to Posh Paws. read more

Absolutely not a $50 grooming, pay before you see is the perfect way to ensure a tip! Wanted to complain to a manager...lol, manager did the grooming. Did give a call to share a little feedback, was told that someone would call me, never happened, hate to say that petsmart did a better job, too bad my two groomers moved on, Posh Paws lost a potential long term customer, back to doing it myself. read more

I only take my dogs to Posh Paws. The friendly groomers truly love dogs and enjoy their jobs. I have had only good experiences with my three dogs at Posh Paws. For a long time I was a wonderer going from pet groomer to pet groomer trying to find a place that was clean, enjoyed grooming dogs and appts didn't take weeks to get. Two thumbs up for Posh Paws. read more

I will never return to Posh Paws. They told me that my cockapoo is no longer welcome up there because "she's close to having a heart attack." Really?? You guys have a vet up there?? Who knew??? They also waited to tell me that she's no longer welcome only after I paid and tipped them. That was a very calculated move on their part. They also told me that my other two dogs are welcome though. Like I would send my two other dogs up there after you have kicked one out?? No thanks!! read more

I have brought a smaller dog here several times and have always loved the results. The attention to detail and love from the staff has always been one of primary reasons for returning. The last visit I brought a larger doc and when we got her back she still wasn't fully 'deshedded' and I called and let the owner know and she quickly made the situation right by redoing the process and leaving her coat as beautiful as ever. I am always satisfied with the these people and you will be too. read more

I LOVE Posh Paws Grooming. I appreciate the care they take with our furry family members and I also love that it is quiet in the shop and they only keep as many animals as they have grooming tables for. I also really like the salon atmosphere and the lighting which makes it more comfortable for the animals. Also...my favorite groomer EVER Cherish is working at Posh Paws and I thought I would never find out what happened to her after she and her business partner closed a A Diamond in the Ruff. I've been to many groomers in Tucson and Posh Paws was recommended to me by one of my best friends as her dogs are very sensitive about being groomed and actually tend to get depressed afterward. She said that they do not get upset from being groomed at Posh Paws and that is what sold me until I walked in and saw their set up and knew this was the only place to get my Sophie groomed. read more

First time at Posh Paws as I am new to Tucson. I took my two Bichons there last Saturday and Erin groomed both of them. I couldn't be happier!! They looked so cute!! She did an excellent job and I will definitely be taking them back to see Erin when they need grooming!! read more

WONDERFUL!!!!!! I won't go anywhere else. They are so professional and really care about my dog and her comfort and safety.

Had a terrible experience at my most recent visit to posh paws grooming ... 1. My dog was harassed by their owners dog "Max" , which made my dog even more nervous than it already was . 2. The lobby was extremely dusty , causing my allergies to go crazy ! ... I can only imagine how gross and unsanitary the rest of the shop is . 3. Not sure if the business is doing well , based on their old equipment . The grooming tables look like they are breaking down ; leaking oil etc... . Also , I wasn't able to have a receipt printed because they didn't have ink ... 4. The employees seemed to have little to no chemistry , the older woman with the accent tends to be a bit brash and out of touch. Overall , I'd say that this place has a ton of potential . They would be able to be more competitive With the right management and a more up to date lobby/grooming equipment . Ill probably try another grooming shop in the area . read more

We can't say enough good things about Posh Paws. We tried the major chains thinking they would have more experience, boy were we WRONG; our Cavalier has never been so beautiful! We just can't believe how soft and clean she is every time we pick her up from Posh Paws - we have never been able to get her as clean. The owner, Samantha, is wonderful and very caring and we trust her like a "Best Friend," and Michaela is so kind to Sandi, and we know we have a friend in her. We will never take Sandi to another groomer as long as we have Posh Paws, everyone is always professional and friendly. No more BIG CHAINS, we're so glad we found Posh Paws that we recommend this pet salon to everyone we know! Todd, Shelly and "Sandi" read more

They did a great job with my Pomsky. He has a ton of hair and they did wonderful in trimming it all. I will definitely be coming back.

Clean and friendly! I have been taking my lab mix here for a few years now and have loved every visit! The staff is really friendly, the prices are reasonable, and their work is really quality. Tina and Lori are my two favorites. They know my dog by name, smile whenever they see us come in, and give great service. I would highly recommend this location for all your grooming needs! read more

Love Posh Paws!! Our dogs always come home happy and looking beautiful!

I wanted our first grooming to be right so I asked an area breeder for where she gets her Labradoodles groomed. She recommended this place and specifically Samantha or Tina. Tina was fabulous, our puppy got the works without getting anxious and she looks great. Thank you Tina! See you on our annal trek to warm weather. read more

Amazing! I have a large mixed breed who hates getting her nails trimmed and is easily freaked out so it's usually not an easy task for anyone having to do it. The staff here was amazing and so sweet to my dog, even taking a few moments to love on her during the nail trim. The shop itself is very clean and nicely decorated and they have great toys; all the other dogs that were there being groomed we're happy as could be. Posh Paws is the best! read more

I would NOT reccommend Posh Paws. First off, my dog always came home shorter then we agreed upon. Lori our grromer was rude and unprofessional, therefore I no longer give them our business. In this economy, bad customer service is not tolerable. read more

When my regular groomer left, I tried one of the other two. The results were terrible! My dog was clipped in a very sloppy, incomplete way, and looked like the groom was haphazard at best. I am now looking for another groomer!!! read more

Worst experience ever with a groomer. They are rude from start to finish. I was referred there by a friend who said they are rude but do a good job. She said she puts up with the rudeness because she thinks they do a good job. The rudeness started with the call to make the appointment. I believe she said her name was Lori. Lori was rushed and after about 4 minutes on the phone she told me I was taking too much of her time and I should call back when I was prepared to make the appointment. I told her I was prepared she was just not being helpful. She then said, we have been on the phone for over 20 minutes and still no appointment. I looked at my phone and it had been 4 minutes and 32 seconds. I told her she was exaggerating and I have the exact time of 4 minutes 32 seconds on my phone. I then told her I was not interested and hung up. I called my friend and she said she would take my dog in and I would be happy with the end result. So...My friend took my dog in and I was completely surprised with the outcome. My dog was butchered. Worst grooming job ever. My friend was so embarrassed. She told me she tried to get them to straighten out my dog's hair and all hell broke loose. She ended up getting into with the owner at which time my friend, a longtime customer, told them to cancel all appointments. She is done with them. This is a fair warning. Do not listen to the good reviews on this website. They are simply rude, bad groomers and they don't take responsibility for their mess ups. read more
