While visiting the area erlier this month my aunt, grandmother, sister-in-law, and I all were able to get mani/pedis and had great service! My SIL and I got manicures, and my aunt, grandmother, and I got pedicures, with the staff able to seat us all right near each other to converse and catch up. We all got the champagne pedicure which was relaxing and thorough, though a bit out of order from what I've experienced from other salons - usually the hot towel and lotion/oil is at the end, but this was quite early here. My grandmother ended up changing her mind once she saw the color on her first nail, wanting something more softer in color, and there was a little misunderstanding with the nail technician handling her pedicure, but another tech was able to help out fairly quickly. I felt like my tech was rushing just a bit since I started a few minutes later after they wrapped my nails to soak off my previous mani, and she ended up forgetting the hot stones for me but spent more time on the leg massage so it sort of balanced out. Parking was a bit tight, especially during winter with the snowbanks, but it was fairly busy as well when we were there so that wasn't a surprise either. I felt pricing was fair; it was actually a little cheaper than what I typically pay for a gel pedi, dip mani back home in Florida. read more

I made an appointment in advance for a pedicure for noon. I was sat in the chair at 12:05 and she was done with my pedicure at 12:25. I was extremely disappointed and was really looking forward to a pedicure. The fact she took 20 minutes and seemed in a rush was frustrating. I've been going here 2-3x a year for several years (whenever I'm in town). My most recent visit, I had acrylic nails put on; my underlying nails grew out beneath, so when I got home, I had the acrylics taken off. It took 2 rounds of acetone/foil & dremeling to get them off. It depends on who does your nails. Some are inexperienced, some do not focus on your nails. Frustrating.

The women doing my nails did not speak more than 3 words of English to me the whole time I was there. She sanded my acrylics completely off, no soaking which is just lazy and worse for my nails. And she sanded so hard it literally felt like a burn at one point. Clearly all they care about is churning out as many customers as they can, not even bothering to sanitize instruments inbetween. And to boot one of my nails has a huge obvious air bubble on it. I went to lyn nails last time and had such a more pleasant experience, they were just closed today and really needed to get these acrylics off. Next time I'll wait, I'm really not sure why everyone suggests posh. read more

Posh Nail Spa is not how it used to be. I used to recommend this nail salon, but now I strongly advise against it. I took a break from manicures for a bit to strengthen my nails, but went back to Posh recently for a manicure to attend a wedding. A day later, a crack appeared in one of the nails. Now, 4 days later, the ANC has cracked on each nail (look closely at photo). The top gloss is holding it from breaking for now, but I will definitely need them redone before the wedding because they look awful. Additionally, the people that work here are just not friendly at all. I was trying to pick a nice color that would be appropriate for the event, and apparently I was taking too long, because the woman hurried me into a seat telling me I could "choose later." Overall, the experience has solidified the fact that Posh is going downhill. Do not go here unless you want to spend 50$ on nails that crack after a few days, and rude customer service. read more

I have a lot to say about this place. I used to come here a lot with my mom but we stopped going when the prices got outrageous. My prom is this weekend so I decided to treat myself because this is definitely the most fancy and clean salons around. I was highly mistaken. I went in on Wednesday to get a acrylic full set, I had an appointment at 2:15 and didn't get seated until 2:30 and even after I was seated I had to wait for the nail tech next to me to finish up her client which I didn't mind because she was almost done. I showed the manager my inspo manager and she said Nicole could do them. Once Nicole came over I showed her the picture and she had me pick out glitter then she started on my nails. About every 5 mins she got up and went to the back room for a couple mins and finally I was done at 4:30 (which I don't think it should have taken 2 hours) I looked at my nails and they looked absolutely nothing like the picture I showed her. AND they were $75. For acrylic with glitter (i'll put the pics below) I am not the type of person to say I don't like the nails because that makes me nervous and I was supposed to be somewhere at 4:30 so I didn't have time to get them redone. I called Thursday telling them I needed them fixed because they aren't what I asked for, they were chunky, crooked, and just overall ugly. The manager told me to come in at 3:30 on Friday so she could "look at them" I got there she looked at my nails for about 3 seconds and she said there was nothing they could do except drill them down and repaint them, because they weren't "that bad". I explained to her that the shape itself was bad and uneven and I wanted them to take them off and start over because this was their mess up. She told me she wouldn't do that but she could take them off for free then have me pay full price for a new set and to stand by the wall and wait until someone became available. After waiting for 10 mins I decided it wasn't worth it and I told my boyfriend that I would just go to snappy nails in SGF because they give you what you want and they always look good. we walked out, got in my car and the manager came running out after us telling us to come back that she would do my nails shortly. I told her that I did not want Nicole doing my nails and I didn't want to pay for their mess up. She told me that she would take them off for free and give me a coupon for half off. I came back inside waited for about 15 mins and she started my nails and said "I can give you 30% off not half" but I was already in the chair so I just let them continue because I was so over it and I just wanted to be done. The manager started my nails and Roy(who's really good) finished them. I give this place 2 stars because Nicole and the manager being rude at our interaction after I told her my nails looked bad. If you go to this salon make sure you don't get Nicole. I don't want to seem like a spoiled brat but I think anyone would be upset after paying $75 for nails that don't look good. especially for prom. read more

Got a anc mani/pedi last weekend. Not only was the guy who did them very rude and short but was back in Thursday to get 5 nails fixed. They had been broken since Tuesday. By Friday evening two of the nails that had made it broke by then. Only a week out and most of my nails are broken and two that were fixed are already cracked. I have never experienced such fast damage before and will not even bother going back to get them fixed again. read more

I have been going here for over a year now and everything has been fine loved every set. But I went Wednesday and everything was fine at first I was getting acrylic fill. She did her thing with the right hand then she moved to my left and that is when she asked if I wanted a tip because i was missing a nail. I said yes then she completely stops and said I need to do a full set which was confusing. I had long natural nail. Then all of a sudden she cuts my nails down to the skin. My natural nails were gone. I thought she was going to soak off the acrylic. She never did. She instead took a nail tip and starts peeling my acrylics off. Which hurt really bad because they weren't even lifting up so she had to really rip them off. She cut me several times and made me bleed. It has been hours since I got my nails and my nails still hurt. The design also was bad it wasn't even what I wanted. I hope these last me four weeks like my other set of nails last. I'm beyond upset after having a mani/pedi done here a couple days ago!! So much to be upset about But I'll start with the fact that I was charged $100 and I have 3 broken nails on my fingers and chipped paint on my toes after not even 48 hours! The guy did an absolute horrible rushed job. I had a whole set of acrylic with French manicure dip and a "hot stone spa pedicure" done in under an hour! Anyone who gets their nails done often knows it's usually a two hour appointment. He raced through the pedicure with probably the worst paint job I've ever had in 20 years. Skipped the top coat so my nails are all chipped and my feet are not smooth and soft at all like normally when I leave a $45 pedicure!!! Then he did the worst job I've ever had on my nails. Cut them all down before even confirming what length I preferred!! I've also never had a French manicure where they don't put a light pink coating on before doing the white part. It looks horrendous! Just when I thought my terrible experience couldn't get worse, he tells me my total is almost $100!!! He told me he charge $5 extra to take of my nail polish before he did my pedicure (bs), $5 extra for a French manicure (why it's less product then one color) , then another $5 for the scented foot scrub that I swear to god I did not ask for. I simply choose the pedicure on a chart and the cost was $38, I was never told about $15 in extras that I never once got charged for there or at any other place. This guy does terrible work and ripped me off. I was sick about it when I had to go to a wedding with two broken nails. I wish I would have had more time to go back and make them fix the horrible job he did before the wedding but it was the day before so no time left. I have been going here for a while and they are okay. I got my nails done on Thursday and it is now Monday. I have broken two nails barely doing anything with my hands. First of all they never really talk to me when I get my nails done except for the needed questions. Second of all she cut multiple if my fingers while using the electric drill. Third of all it's been four days and my nails are already breaking. I payed $55 for these nails I expect them to at least last a week. They are not terribly long either they are a medium length and a lot of people get nails done this length and keep them on for 2-3 weeks. This is not the first occurrence I have had with my fingers being cut or nails breaking I have had long and short nails from this place and they never last very long. read more

Each time I go it is a different experience from wonderful to awful...it all depends on who you get. The reason I go back is... it is clean. I have had some nice pedicures. Some not so nice where the woman was purposely yanking my foot to get my foot to go in the direction that was comfortable to her and not me. I'm older and have joint issues! Not listening to how I wanted my nails done, her doing what she wanted. Once being rushed by the young guy not getting the usual service.
