The cupcakes are smaller than what you would expect for paying $3.50; but truly, I'm not looking for a 1000-calorie cupcake and she does make the by hand herself. My only real suggestion would be to make the fillings a bit tangier to offset the sweetness overload. The cupcakes we tried weren't sickeningly sweet but could have used a bit more sour for balance. The last time I custom ordered a cake, there was a hair in it. And for the price I paid, I was shocked at how small it was. This seems to be the norm in Alaska. Owning a bakery must have high overhead.
