I was waiting at a bus stop for a delayed bus and decided to take a chance on the nearest sandwich spot. I walked in, told the person at the counter I was trying to catch my bus, and the clock started ticking. I ordered a toasted turkey bagel sandwich, and I have to give them credit for speed alone -- it took less than 10 minutes from ordering to paying to having it bagged up and ready to go. I ordered their mint mocha frappe- very good, reminds me of Christmas, and a Denver omelette bagel sandwich with avocado. The sandwich is really big and the jalapeños nice and spicy, the flavors of the omelette on their everything bagel were very complementary. My only note for this besides how good it is is that it's probably best enjoyed in store or within a few minutes of making because the bottom bagel was so soggy it was falling apart and sticking to the paper. Never been around downtown los gatos, and I like how cozy the area is. I could smell the delicious scent of bagels from outside. I was on my way to a wedding and had to grab myself a bagel. I got a bagel sandwich because it reminded me of New York. I ordered the Posh Club deli sandwich. It was a good brunch meal on the go. Shop owners were friendly. I asked if they made a certain drink another posh bagel served & he said no but recommended a similar option. He was a little pushy about it saying things like you probably would like our version and you never know until you try it & i did try it & i hated it. I asked if i could switch out the drink & id be happy to pay the difference & the owner refused. This is a $5 drink. Yall can't afford to make another drink with me returning the old one? First & only place with this level of stinginess & frugality. Mind you we also got 1 sandwich 1 bagel & a different drink. Great bagel breakfast sitting by a large window with a view of downtown Los Gatos. I like my bagel extra toasted and they delivered. I had the sausage egg bagel and it was very good. I chose this place based on the reviews and drove the distance to try it. There is a wonderful variety of bagels that are not found in the basic bagel in the box restaurant. There is a lot of parking on the nearby streets at this time of the day. I immediately noticed the quaint store front made of brick and the tables in the windows for customers to watch what is happening in town. The place is clean and friendly. I took some photos of the bagel varieties and noticed they also have a nice variety of drinks. I also noticed that the Gourmet Cheddar and the Gourmet Parmesan bagels were already sold out. Probably favorites for regular customers. There is a wonderful variety of bagels. They are a nice size and not too thick which makes for a more pleasant eating experience. I settled on an Asiago and Spinach bagel with cream cheese and lox. They added sprouts, capers, red onion and tomato. I paid a little extra to have it made open faced vs. sandwich. The bagel is chewy and crunchy at the same time which made a nice sandwich. Everything was fresh and and delicious. The service was excellent. It was worth the drive to try this place out. I've only had the bagels here, and while all have been great, the pesto bagel was the best one I've ever had. I'll certainly be getting some of those when my non American in-laws visit (they've never had bagels!). Service is quick, as this place is a grab and go setup that is easy to miss. There's usually a spot to park on the side of the street, though. read more

By far the best jalapeño bagel dog I've ever had. I'm not a big fish eater, but insist on getting the lox here! We love to have some bagels on the weekend, a way to start the day off good, to get out of the house. The previous go to had slipped in quality. And so we went searching for a new joint, and let me tell you, are we glad we did!!! The doughnuts are also amazing, very fluffy and soft, as are their cinnamon rolls and croissants. In general the baking here is top notch. And a Vietnamese coffee is just such a great way to wake up! I could not recommend this place more! Excellent bagels, excellent sandwiches. i love this place, super straight forward, very nice staff and great food. The place was very clean, love their decor and TV set up. They got high tables and chairs, lots of drink options. You do have to park along the tail end of the post office lot to get in as they sit on the main road to head towards the freeway. I ordered the jalapeno dog and an iced brew with an extra shot in it, and a ton of bagels on the side for my coworkers. Would come back here again for my breakfast fix!! read more

I've never been more excited and disappointed at the same time. After my beloved Poshed Bagel closed down in Rivermark, I was forced to find alternatives. But nothing came close to their big and fluffy bagels and generous lox servings (sliced lox bagels are my jam) and their great customer service. So when I was this place, I was hopeful to relive my bagel hay days. But the experience wasn't quite the same... First off when I arrived on a Sunday Morning, I was greeted by a completely empty display case. For a moment I thought they were fully sold out, but when the woman ahead of me ordered and I saw the man behind the counter walk to a rack to get the fresh bagel. Crisis averted. I got two lox bagels and lox spread to go, and those were made very quickly. Once I got home to enjoy my bagels, I quickly realized those were not the same bagels I used to get. They were smaller and thinner. The amount of lox was also not as generous as I had in the past. It was still good and I will likely be back. Just need to readjust my expectations. read more

Delicious! A small shop with good service. The pastrami deli sandwich on a salt bagel was so good I brought my wife by the next day and got the Posh Club on an everything bagel. I usually hike near by. On my way to the car after 6 miles i noticed some teens with boba... I'm addicted . I saw a menu in the posh bagel window with smoothies an Sandwiches and bagels and much more. I decided to try a tuna wrap (spinach tortilla , tuna, cucumber, lettuce and tomato). I had a pineapple mango smoothie with boba. I was so hungry i went ahead an started eating my wrap on the freeway. It was surprisingly so damn good. The way the outside of the wrap was slightly grilled was the best part for me. I'm glad i discovered Posh Bagel. My smoothie was really good but maybe I'll order a smaller size next time. I was too full to finish it after my wrap. The staff was so friendly. I believe they were getting ready to close but happily welcomed me in anyway. Due to Covid there is no indoor sitting, they only welcome in a few customers at a time with 6ft spaces on the floor. The staff had on masks and gloves an the place was very clean. read more

Any time we drive over 17 from Santa Cruz we make a pit stop here. Their gourmet bagels are so delicious - love the marinara one but they were sold out on this particular visit. Toasted to perfection, soft and pillowy with tons of flavor. I love the tapioca cups even an for ice coffee or a smoothie. The store is small but cute and cozy with some indoor tables and stools, looking out to the busy street. The store staffs are also super friendly and service is fast. I can't believe it's taken me so long to review my favorite bagel shop so far. I do a trail hike in Los Gatos and always get hungry after the 7 miles and that's how I found this place. I've tried their donuts and bagels but my favorite is their BLT with avocado and an iced chai latte. I love the ambiance on Saturday morning but it does get busy so be warned! I also work in the area but traffic during lunch time is a little harder to beat in downtown Los Gatos. I get full from the food so it's definitely worth it in my opinion. They don't have much indoor seating but there is a park nearby and outdoor seating as well. You'll always see the familiar faces of the same employees there with a friendly smile! read more

I came to Los Gatos to check out their farmers market. Although it was rather small there were the biggest crowds of people I have seen since the pandemic happened! I was a little overwhelmed with the fact nobody social distanced within the farmers market nor were any of the vendors socially distant from one another. So I walked down the street instead. Upon doing so I found this adorable bagel shop and there was a father and daughter inside ordering. Everybody was polite and properly social distant while ordering. I felt safe!! It was a little hard for The gentleman behind the counter to understand me with my mask, but he was very understanding. Then again I don't shout when I order. LOL I ordered an iced brew coffee and asked if it was a dark roast or not. I favor mild coffees or blonde. He assured me it was mild but had a very good flavor. I was still skeptical, but I ordered one anyways. To my surprise it was delicious it had a beautiful hint of vanilla and something sweet and a nutty almost hazelnut after taste! I didn't have to add sugar or anything to the coffee. The mild flavor was not too dark roasted and my stomach didn't get upset! The lox bagel was so soft and moist and there were so many pieces of salmon it was squishing out the sides! The bagel had the perfect amount of cream cheese also!! Walked around Los Gatos during Covid and wanted to get coffee at Los Gatos Coffee Roasting next door. They had a long line so we were skipping that and noticed Posh Bagel had all the coffee drinks we were looking for, and no line! We were pleasantly surprised by this neat little business. My kingdom for bagels and lox! I had my heart set on bagels and lox this morning. My go-to place all out! So, I experimented with a new place. I'm usually leery of going to any cafe/store/etc with 'posh' in its name, but the siren call for this meal was irresistible. A cafe that serves good bagels and lox is my true north. It gives me the gastronomic coordinates I need to get through the rough traffic seas of the South Bay. Posh Bagel gave me what I needed. Still recommend and for the breakfast bagel it was excellent This time as one or twice in the past the coffee flavor is not consistent , really didn't enjoy the vanilla latte this time.
