There are two bathrooms if you need to change, and they even have hair ties available at check-in. I got the two-week unlimited new member pass and really enjoyed the workouts. I definitely made the most of it. The Megaformer provided just the right amount of resistance that I was able to go almost daily without feeling overly sore, recover well, and still see results by the end of the two-week period. All of the instructors, as well as the front desk staff, were super amazing and friendly. I highly recommend it. The only change I would suggest is having a consistent shoe policy. The studio asks clients not to wear outside shoes inside, but instructors wear them during class. Having a mix of grip socks, bare feet, and outside shoes on the floor and Megaformer doesn't feel very sanitary or consistent

Love, love, LOVE!…read more Every instructor I've had so far has been incredible - kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. The classes are definitely challenging, but in the best way. They work muscles you didn't even realize needed strengthening. Each session is full-body focused and constantly reminds you to engage your core. When I first started, I could feel how weak my abs were, and now I can feel just how much stronger they've become. My legs are always on fire in that amazing burn-you-love kind of way! I've also noticed real changes in my body, not only in strength but in looking and feeling slimmer. There are only 11 spots/megaformers per class, and reservations open two weeks in advance. Make sure to book early, spots fill up fast!

He's also helped me balance my diet to make sure all of my hard work at the gym doesn't go to waste. The equipment at Goodwin Barbell Club is some of the best (and coolest) I've worked with. We have done calisthenics and lots of unconventional style training using these super cool kettle bells, battle ropes and steel clubs. Miguel provides personalized instruction that is rigorous but manageable and makes working out fun (unlike working out at a larger gym which always feels like a chore for me).

I had a leg injury and visited a chiropractor several times, but my progress was very slow. After only three deep-tissue massage sessions with Danny, I noticed a significant improvement and was able to gradually return to my normal activities. I have also had a great experience with Danny's strength classes. In the past, I attended Orangetheory and was injured several times because the trainers were not always able to notice or correct improper form. Danny gives each person individual attention and takes the time to correct posture and technique. Since training with him, I have been able to build strength without getting injured. His training also improves mobility, balance, and the movements we use in everyday life. The singing class is another great addition. The instructor is very dedicated, patient, and genuinely invested in helping each student improve. I'm also very excited that the studio is now offering Pilates reformer classes at an affordable price. It is wonderful to have access to so many high-quality fitness and wellness services in one welcoming place. Danny and his team are knowledgeable, attentive, and truly care about their clients.

Don't expect a Barry's-style bootcamp where you get to have a break every few minutes and the instructor doesn't give you much individual attention. This is a solid hour of work - running (around a track, outside, up and down stairs), jumping jacks, burpees, jumping lunges, sit-ups, free weights, planks, pull ups, etc etc etc. All muscle groups; strength, cardio, and endurance. No two workouts are the same (although you start to get used to the rhythm of them). There is a lot of partner work, and it can be a little bit competitive but also hugely supportive. As mentioned, there's an obstacle course you do at least once a class. Oh, and the instructors don't miss a thing so it's impossible to slack off. You will sweat, you will absolutely count out loud in synchronization with everyone else, you might feel like you want to throw up. However, when you're done you'll feel like you can basically do anything. Anything. If you come regularly you'll notice real changes in your body pretty quickly. I have to psych myself up a little bit before I go but it's been worth it - when I started this stuff crushed me but I'm *noticeably* stronger and fitter than I was even a couple months ago. Also don't be self conscious about your fitness level, every class has both beginners and experts. Go once and then try it again, you'll see that you've already made progress.
