We interviewed Jo Ann Poole and were impressed with her many years of experience and familiarity with the area, she lives in Wood Ranch! My relatives and I were comfortable and confident with her, selecting her as our Realtor was an easy decision. The home was opened for showing and we immediately received numerous offers including two that were well over the asking price! Escrow was opened the next business day! As with any real estate transaction there are issues and concerns that come up. Jo Ann was always available to take our calls/texts and answer any questions that we had as she guided us through the process. She was understanding and patient when explaining the details to my relatives. Escrow closed on time and my relatives have relocated to their new home. We would not hesitate to use Jo Ann's services in the future.

If you are her seller and your house stays on the market longer than normal, it is likely that other Realtors are steering their clients away from this hot mess. If you are a home buyer, and were tricked into being represented by Jo Ann Poole, your offer will likely be rejected by professional Realtors because no one wants drama. As an example, Jo Ann's clients on Holbertson Court were advised to reject the buyer's choice of home inspector to gain a better result. A dangerous and litigeous decision. Just ask any Realtor, inspector, title rep, lender and escrow officer who knows Jo Ann Poole. We've had several properties and worked with other realtors and we will be using Lewicki and Associates for any property moving forward. There are a lot of realtors who will over promise and under deliver to get the job and this is not them. They were honest, up front and dependable from the initial meeting to handing off the keys. In the height of the market going down, they were able to get us multiple offers. During escrow, we had many issues come up from negligence in our previous inspection when we purchased the home to uncompleted permits and they were always on top of analyzing and coming up with fair and smart solutions for all parties. They were quick to communicate and always readily available for any concerns and questions. There is no other realtor I feel comfortable recommending more than them!

The home was acquired during a mere four and a half year marriage. There you will find the undaunted souls of Judy Lewicki & Associates. Being one of the parties of this dissolution, I recognized that the home needed to be sold. After considerable persuasion my former spouse begrudgingly agreed to list the family home, provided that Judy Lewicki be the listing agent. Not knowing Judy and her team, she wasn't my first choice of realtors. However because of her sterling reputation as a consummate professional in Ventura County, coming from both colleagues and competitors, I acquiesced. From the onset and throughout the course of the listing, Judy represented herself and her team as a neutral disinterested party, whose aim was to list and successfully sell our home in the most expeditious fashion. Within hours of having the listing signed, Judy and her team threw themselves into the task. My home was in Zillow and other realty web sights, a "For Sale " sign was posted in the front yard, the home was staged for showing and a professional photographer was on the premises capturing the idyllic setting of the dwelling and the manicured yards. The prompt and immediate sale of the home at a fair marketable price was the goal of all concerned. However, due to market conditions and prevailing interest rates this goal seemed at times far off and all but attainable. Judy remained stedfast to her mission. In addition to Judy preparing, scheduling and conducting "Open House" invitationals every other week, she constantly monitored market trends , internet web sites and realty periodicals. In keeping with her unwavering standard of professionalism, Judy on a weekly basis, kept myself and my former spouse apprised of her efforts. As the listing entered into its' sixth month, Judy diligently remained focussed as reflected in the continued Open Houses conducted as well as her internet and market research. Due to these tireless efforts Judy was able finally bring us a qualified buyer and a flawlessly successful close of escrow. Although, as I said Judy Lewicki & Associates was not my first choice for this listing, but having watched how Judy conducted herself during the prolonged duration of these several months, I can unequivocally say that she is now! I would highly recommend Judy Lewicki & Associates to anyone looking to sell or purchase a home. Truth be told, I'm grateful to my former spouse for having insisted upon Judy being the listing agent.

Okay, I understand that, but wasn't she in the same business as the brokers? Wouldn't or shouldn't she have already known that we needed to do that, and advised us up front? We couldn't have been happier as she was honest and did what she said she would do! During our sale, we had looked at numerous homes with Bonnie. I'm very picky as I'm sure she would say the same. She had a great deal of patience and was always there when we wanted to see more homes. When we finally found the home that we wanted it turned out to be a very difficult buyer. There were permits that were missing on home improvements over the years. We were very uncomfortable about not having these permits and the association we were moving into weren't any help. This was during COVID and Bonnie went the extra mile contacting the City of Camarillo. In one day she was able to get copies of the permits! She also had numerous conversations and emails between the association to get items fixed on our home. The seller was unyielding in several areas of concern.
