My experience with Tamara Tambe as the listing agent was incredibly disappointing. I entered escrow in good faith and removed only the physical inspection contingency. My loan and appraisal contingencies remained in place. When my lender ultimately informed me that my loan could not proceed, I submitted a written cancellation. From that point on, I was repeatedly told that I had "no rights to cancel." As a buyer, it felt as though exercising a contractual contingency was being treated as if I had done something wrong. Rather than working toward a practical resolution, the cancellation process lasted more than a month requiring me to retain legal counsel and initiate mediation over my earnest money deposit. I understand that a listing agent has a duty to advocate for the seller. However, there is a difference between advocating for your client and unnecessarily escalating a dispute. In my experience, what should have been a professional resolution became an unnecessarily prolonged and adversarial process. If I were interviewing listing agents as a seller, I would want to know how they handle transactions when something goes wrong--not just when everything goes right. Based on my experience, I would have concerns about whether extending a dispute for weeks, involving attorneys and mediation, ultimately served the seller's best interests. I hope future buyers and sellers alike experience a more professional, solution-oriented approach than I did. Buying a home should be exciting, not intimidating. There should be a willingness to resolve disputes without unnecessary escalation. read more

From start to finish Tamara was a joy to work with. Her professionalism and attention to detail was outstanding. Her experience and expertise sets her above all others. We have worked with many different realtors to both buy and sell. Tamara (and her business partner Darren) are far and away the best that we have worked with. I can say without hesitation that we had no complaints working with the two of them and would recommend them to anyone who is in need of a realtor. We worked with Tamara and Darren to sell our house. The house needed a bit of work to be ready to sell and the work involved in coordinating was considerable. Before we could even begin to stress about this, Tamara and Darren let us know that they would take care of all of this. My experience with previous agents led me to be a bit cynical about this, but true to their word Tamara and Darren alleviated every bit of stress for us that they could. They contacted plumbers, painters, repairmen, stagers, etc. Quotes were collected and presented to us. Once we reviewed and gave the OK, Tamara and Darren coordinated the work and timelines to be sure we would be ready to list as soon as possible. They checked in on the home when we were unable to and just went above and beyond. They were a calming influence when we faced unexpected challenges and always offered insights and options without judgement. Their strategies in marketing, staging, and listing the home resulted in a quick sale at over 20% of the list price! We could not be more happy with Tamara. You'll be lucky to have her on your side. read more

Tamara and her team were outstanding. She sold my place fast, went above and beyond. I cannot thank her or recommend her enough.

My husband and I couldn't be more thrilled with having Tamara as our agent. She helped us find the perfect first home! She was really patient with us as we looked at several properties and kept going back and forth on what we liked/disliked. Our first offer made was it! My husband and I are completely new to home buying and had a lot of questions. Tamara was extremely responsive to all our texts/calls/emails. She explained all the paperwork to us and walked us through everything. She was extremely involved throughout the entire process. She asked questions to sellers we didn't even think to ask. Highly highly recommend! read more

Tamara Tambe - Real Estate Agents Near Me - Los Angeles, California

From the moment I met Tamara, I knew she was the professional I wanted to work with. She was organized, responsive, and had a plan that made sense. Tamara was collaborative. She worked with me to help me prepare my house to go on the market. She explained every step of the process. She made sure I didn't spend extra money to make my home presentable. She took time to get to know me, to get to know my property, so she could help potential buyers understand its potential. Whenever I reached out to her, she immediately responded. If she didn't have an answer to a question, she let me know, and she found out the answer. She handled everything for me, and she made sure my needs were met, understood, and taken into consideration every step of the way. When decided together that a smaller dining table would be a better fit for the home, Tamara not only helped me locate a used one, she helped me pick it up and put it together. I cannot recommend Tamara highly enough. She knows the market, cares about her clients -- and she cares about the folks on the other side of the deal, too. Working with Tamara was a refreshing experience. My home went into escrow in less than a week and closed within 22 days. She earned her fee in spades! read more

Tamara is one of the most professional agents I have ever met. She made certain suggestions that made a big deal in selling the property. Basically she has the "eye" for it and knows how to get the job done! I couldn't believe that she closed escrow in just 27 days after taking the listing. She has the right marketing ideas and brought an awesome professional photographer that made a big difference in the pictures. Now I know why she is one of the top agents in the SFV. If you are looking to sell a property she is the one to call! On the buying side she knows how to negotiate a better deal than others and points out flaws that you might have not noticed with the property till after you have moved in. Either buying or selling she is the right person for the job! Thanks again for all your hard work that paid off at the end! A++ read more

Tamara is the best! I first met Tamara while she was having an open house and I was just starting to look for a home. After speaking with her I decided that she was the one I wanted as my realtor. I bought my first home with ease thanks to Tamara. Last year we were ready to move north and be closer to family. My mother also was going to move with us and she had her house to sell. My mother had lived in her house for 50+ years so I knew that she was going to be worried about selling. Tamara listed both of our houses. I can't tell you how kind and compassionate Tamara was with my mom. My mom was a nervous wreck having the house shown but Tamara "held her hand" thru the whole process. She did everything possible to calm her nerves and I will always be grateful. If you need a realtor who will go out of her way to take the stress out of buying/selling your house Tamara is the one! read more

I reached out to Tamara a few months ago when I was about to stop my home search due to multiple offers not being accepted by sellers. She was a listing agent on a property my wife and I really liked. From day one I knew that Tamara is honest, forthcoming caring. Our purchase was not an easy one, but, Tamara handled things very well and in most professional manner. We purchased our home just a few weeks ago, thanks to Tamara and her persistence, experience, knowledge and professionalism. I would recommend Tamara to anyone searching to buy or sell a home. I had a pleasure working with her and will certainly work with her again in the future. Thank you, Tamara! Igor read more

Tamara deserves more than 5 stars...she is one of the most professional, knowledgeable, tenacious professionals I have ever worked with. She was so detail oriented and really knows her stuff. Tamara is the 6th realtor we've worked with since buying and selling a home in St. Louis, MO; relocating to Los Angeles; and most recently moving to Toronto, Canada. Without a doubt, Tamara was the most professional, superior realtor that we've had the pleasure to work with. She was tremendously responsive and very proactive. We had owned our home in Encino for less than 1 year and were worried about losing money. In less than 24 hours after inquiring with her directly, Tamara and her colleague, Darren, arrived at our home with a polished market analysis booklet. We took some time to contemplate the decision - there are numerous options in SoCal for a realtor and the gravity of such concerned my husband and me. In the end, we were most fortunate and lucky to have found Tamara. 2-days after listing with her, we accepted an above-ask offer. I never would have dreamed that we would have made profit and sold the house within hours. During the closing process, Tamara was very patient, thorough, and kept us abreast of all the next steps + timeline. Strongly doubt we would have achieved these results with any other realtor. +++ Highly recommend! read more

I had the pleasure to work with Tamara as my realtor for the last few months. This is the 3rd realtor experience of my life and I can easily say that she was the best. I work in the mortgage industry and had purchased a home previously so I truly understand when a realtor exemplifies customer satisfaction. Since the initial stage of the process for purchasing this property, she has been informative, knowledgeable, friendly, and in constant communication when I had questions. She'll answer every question you have plus was very easy to contact even with an extremely busy schedule. My wife really liked how honest and open Tamara was with both of us. She emailed us many properties to review that fit our price range as she seemed to know the exact criteria of what potential homes would satisfy our requirements. Overall, we closed escrow a few days ago and will be moved into our home this weekend. Towards the end, Tamara was on top of all repairs required, spoke with our lender to allow an easy transition for providing documents and helped us land the home of our dreams. I would recommend to my friends and family. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. read more

Tamara helped sell my home during a divorce. She was a stellar broker who never took sides and truly worked endlessly to get our home sold quickly at a fair price. I therefore called her when I was ready 6-12 months later to purchase a new home. The market wasn't easy as we often were outbid after offering above asking price by often $60K. Tamara never faltered - she is the ultimate, calm, professional - always fresh and positive, and always finding new ideas and new homes every weekend. She helped us work past a very sad loss at a dream home at: 12813 Tiara St - originally listed at $785K. We offered full price - NOT good enough. The Dilbeck agent had us wait for weeks until there were several more open houses - so ultimately, we were presented to enter into a private bidding war with "5 other final contestors....I mean buyers" and we were finally, and ridiculously presented (after several of our counter offers) to make our best and final offer. The house was already $20-30K over asking price. We made our last and best offer - we loved the home; ultimately we lost it by a very small amount. Sad state to be in after searching for months and months and months.....to finally feel setup and subterfuged by the other agent. Maybe that's just the broker we were dealt with, the company Dilbeck, but it felt really dirty. Could we prove it? Nope. Just felt like we were set up to blindly drive the price up higher and higher and higher, while they had their buyer. Ulltimately, in the end, we found another place....Tamara gave her best always. She is tireless! She is honest, strong, and kind! NO B.S. with her. read more

Tamara and her partner Darren came highly recommended to us by some friends last summer. After our initial meeting, we were really impressed by how confident they were in their ability to sell our home at a competitive price, and how understanding they were of our needs. Sure enough, within a week we had multiple offers on our property. Tamara and Darren also helped us look for our new house. They were incredibly patient with us, responding to texts and emails quickly. We must have seen forty houses with them, and throughout I really appreciated their honest opinions and advice. They seemed to really know the San Fernando Valley well. During escrow, they really stood up for us and were very informative along the way. Having worked with other agents before, I can honestly say Tamara and Darren were the easiest and friendliest to work with. They genuinely seemed to care about us and our needs, and not just the sale/purchase. I cannot recommend them highly enough! read more
