The owners…read moreunleashed dog aggressively approached our leashed dog and the owner came over and yelled at us about how her dog owned the restaurant and it was our dogs fault for her dogs aggressive behavior. We had only come because a friend recommended the pasta. We looked at the menu and it was only pizza. Another friend told us the pizza was terrible-the cheese used hard and disgusting. So after the extremely unwelcoming environment and the pizza only menu we sidesaddled and found a delicious gnocchi restaurant up the road. Won't be back.

Llegamos a las 5.00pm y al ver que el restaurante abria a las 6.00 pm decidimos dar la vuelta viendo a los artezanos para no molestar en lo que daban las 6.00pm. Y asi fue despues de esperar la hora nos presentamos nuevamente a La Pizzeria, llegamos y al ver que seguian preparando las cosas para abrir nosotros muy amablemente preguntamos que si podiamos pedir unas cervezas y sentarnos en lo que acababan de preparar para abrir. 2 de las cocineras nos dijeron que como se habian quedado dormidas el restaurante no estaba listo. Luego un mesero alto nos dijo muy grosero, que no podiamos pasar por que si mas gente veia que ya habia gente en el restaurante iban a querer entrar tambien, nosotros un poco confundidos hasta nos reimos por que no tiene sentido querer tener un restaurante vacio despues de la hra de apertura? Para este entonces mi Mama habia pasado a hacer pipi en el baño por que teniamos todas las intenciones de quedarnos (eramos una mesa grande de 10 personas) cuando mi Mama salio del baño el mesero muy grocero le dijo que le echara agua al escusado y al ser tratados de esa manera decidimos mejor ir a buscar otro lugar donde comer, ya ibamos de salida cuando el mesero nos grito desde el otro lado del restaurante "les voy a guardar su caca". Everything was spotless, and the beds were super cozy. The main downside was the Wi-Fi in the rooms -- it barely worked, so I had to head down to the restaurant for a connection. We stayed in a suite, which looked a bit more spacious in the photos, so that was a small disappointment. There were also a few bugs and small critters (mosquitoes, crickets, lizards), but considering the off-grid, jungle-meets-beach vibe, it's understandable. Overall, it was a great stay -- beautiful setting, perfect location, and easy access to food, the beach, and town.
