As always, the best breakfast in Ashland. They opened at 8, and by the time we got there at 8:10,…read morethere was a 30 minute wait. But it's worth it! Huevos Rancheros for me, sourdough blueberry pancake, scrambled egg, and half an order of biscuits and gravy for my wife, and an amazing Nutella strawberry crepe for the 10 year old. And as always, great service in a great setting.

The bacon comes crisp, the pancakes fluffy, the omelettes delicate, and the hash browns seared beautifully. Beyond that, they push their menu to incorporate delicious, more elevated ingredients. The smoked bacon omelette is a banger. If you like the carmelized flavor of French onion soup, you'll love this! So rich and deep with umami flavor, melding with diced bacon and fontina cheese. The Belgian waffle is also intense with bits of walnut and bacon baked in, which collides beautifully with hot maple syrup. So delicious! Lastly, I like to champion breakfast spots that have the courage to deliver expertly done hash browns. Breadboard doesn't even try, with the usual "home fries" cop-out (that nobody loves but will tolerate). Brothers serves hash browns, but they're usually soggy and falling apart. Not the case here. You get a nice, flat, crisp, rigid slab of hashbrowns, ready to accompany your main. Overall this is my number one spot for an Ashland breakfast. Definitely worth the small drive from downtown.

I had seen many specialists and tried a variety of modalities, all of which only gave me a few days of relief at best. After seeing Dr. Erin for acupuncture and craniosacral treatments, I improved immediately. After a few months of treatments, My symptoms are about 90% improved. My results have greatly exceeded my expectations.

He tested the pain in the right elbow and then placed some needles in my left knee and ankle and then tested the pain again and it was nearly all gone immediately. Another time I went in for a queasy stomach that wouldn't go away. He gave me some Chinese herbs to drink and while I think most people would be challenged by the taste, I actually liked the way it tasted like earth. In any case it fixed me up completely. The latest thing was my left shoulder had been oddly impinged when trying to raise it up (like when you put on a coat). Once again, a few needles and it improved greatly. Of course I went in a few more times to make sure the channel stayed open. I like to combine the acupuncture session with a cranio-sacral session. David is so calm and thoughtful. I know I can count on him to really pay attention to what I need. I cannot recommend him more highly. If you schedule an appointment you might want to schedule two or three a few days apart because he is super busy and tends to be booked out a long ways. Absolutely worth the wait!

I was slightly hesitant to book with Ann because of her limited (albeit highly praising) reviews here on Yelp. After my experience I knew I needed to come back and pay it forward because she's everything you would hope for in a massage therapist - kind and intuitive, strong but relaxing, professional and yet laid back. Ann made me feel at ease immediately, asking why I came in and hoped to achieve. I use less than optimal posture at the computer 5 days a week and my quality of life has been suffering for it. I chose the Swedish Massage package with all the bells and whistles (essential oils, hot towels, hot stones, 90 minutes long-- such a treat). She had me lie on the warm massage table and began to work her magic. I walked out of the appointment feeling like a new woman. I highly recommend Ann and her hands!

Happy Hour Wednesday to Sunday 2pm-6pm ($4 pints during HH) I had the toasted coconut chocolate porter, shared the dough bites off the HH menu along with the ahi entree and tiramisu cheesecake with my lady. All were very tasty. Nothing leftover! Plenty of large tables for groups and a family friendly vibe Will definitely stop by again in the further if timing of my next road trip works out to do so.

Host staff was very hospitable which is always a plus upon arrival. HH was happening when we arrived so we chose the herb dough bites off that menu, along with 2 house chardonnays. Dough bites were underwhelming to say the least. Some were hard and some were soft and chewy. They were served with a grainy Dijon mustard and some sort of an aioli sauce. Marinara sauce would have been more appropriate. On to the entrees. I chose the ahi tuna salad and my hubby went with a basic burger. His opinion ... just a burger. Fries were fresh and yummy. My ahi tuna salad came with passion fruit vinaigrette and unfortunately it was super tart and not good at all. Make sure to have them give you a taste before you commit. I asked for a side of balsamic dressing but unfortunately the passion fruit one was already overwhelming it. I know not to order seafood in bar and grill but I thought I was safe with it incorporated in a salad. My advice ... stick with the basics ... beer and a burger !!!
