I had my first massage with Michael and I will definitely be going back. Not only is he a SUPERB massage therapist but he is a wonderful, intelligent person. His kind presence and caring attention to my physical needs was so refreshing. As he moved along my body I felt a profound sense of overall relaxation and peace. I have scoliosis and my spine looked and felt much better after the massage, as did my overall sense of wellbeing. Towards the end he utililized some crancial sacral therapy on my neck and head and it brought tears to my eyes. I will also be going back for more cranial sacral work. What a wonderful experience! I live in Los Angeles, and spent years trying to find great massage therapist to help alleviate the painful tightness that exists in my lower back, legs, and hips. I left feeling like I got the best of both worlds - a relaxing massage, but also one that worked out my tight spots. That's hard to do. Alison spent significant time listening to my "wish-list" before we got started, and then executed the massage in a way that was even better than what I had requested. She is not only knowledgeable about body work, but also has this magical calmness that, in and of itself, prompts relaxation. This February I met Allison for the first time and my experience with her was incredible. I have had many massages so far, but hers was the best. Allison presence and the way she listened to what I told her I needed and hat my goal was - and the way she also listened intuitively to what my body's needs were - and then put all that together in a soothing, calming, refreshing and rejuvenating 90min session, was amazing! Her gentle and slow movements were the exact speed in which my inside moves. And after 90min I wished I had booked a 120min session. I live in CA so I don't have the ability to see Allison as often as I would like and if I could, I would give myself the treat of her gifted essence every two weeks! I normally don't give 5 stars on Yelp but Alison's Thai massages are the best I have had in 30 years of many styles of massage including Thai. Alison is a wonderfully highly sensitive person, and this is bestowed into her special touch. Her stretches are very slow, thoughtful and intuitive, deeply relaxing in a similar rhythm of the earth. I had a knee injury that she worked on that no one else stretched so expertly. I recently made an appointment for last week with Allison for Friday morning. I received a text the day before from her that claimed she was not in town and had to cancel. I then heard back the following week asking if I wanted to reschedule. I said yes, she asked if Friday at 11 AM was fine, I said sure. She had mentioned that she is not taking clients in the building but rather now house calls or we come to her. I had texted over three times trying to verify where I am going, and she assured me she would let me know. This morning was supposed to be my appointment, I canceled other engagements for her appointment, not only did she not let me know where I was supposed to go, she never texted or contacted me at all. A half hour after my appointment what's supposed to happen, I texted her, and yet to have an apology for basically just standing me up and wasting two weeks where I could've made an appointment with somebody else. I have never seen such unprofessionalism Like this. This was just outrageously rude! I would never in 1 million years recommend this facility. read more

A lovely addition to my trip to Ashland. I drove to Ashland from California last week. I knew my back would be in knots after the drive so I called ahead and booked an appointment with Anna. It was just the ticket. The place is easy to find - about a mile from downtown, the price was totally fair (and better than the Bay Area where I am) and the 90 minute massage was relaxing, spot on and quite helpful.
