So friendly! She took absolutely wonderful pictures. I love the picture she took, and we will absolutely be coming back for family portraits this Autumn for outdoor pictures. She has a studio setup in her house, and a large area in her yard that looks like you're taking pictures out in the woods. Would very highly recommend. She's great at her job, she's great with kids, and she can get good pictures of even the most reluctant participant.

We were trying to wrangle kids (herding cats...) trying to keep them presentable before, then just in general while selecting which pictures. Nichole did not rush us at all. Just the opposite, she took the time to show off all of her cameras, pictures, and such which piqued our daughter's interest as she is a budding digital artist. She had us laughing and enjoying ourselves. Then the photo selection process was easier than I have ever dealt with before. We did it all at home, online within a day or two of getting them taken. No stress or pressure, no oddball package deals with extra photos you don't need or want. We already can't wait until the next time and will be recommending her to all of our family and friends! Well worth it in my opinion!

Mollie Wetta did my engagement photos and wedding photos in 2013. Mollie is very down to earth and…read morequickly responded to my inquiries. I really liked the way she captured the love between the couples in her photos and I wanted my photos to be just as good. I was obsessed with the engagement photos; I figured I would want more of them around the house than me in a white dress. I picked a couple of our favorite places that had sentimental value for us as a couple and then I coordinated outfits to go with those places. Then I went on pinterest and viewed several engagement photos to get an idea of poses. I made a inspiration board for each place with outfits and poses and sent it Mollie in advance. This worked out really well. Mollie knew in advance what I was looking for and was able to add a number of additional poses at each place. In addition, she took us to some places that she knew about that would go with our theme. It took about 1-2 months after the shoot to get our pictures. For the wedding, we did the same thing. My groom and I put together an inspiration board of photos we wanted to take with our bridesmaids/groomsmen. My husband took advantage of this and went to several locations around the wedding site and got some really good photos (Mollie's husband took these photos). I was exhausted and choose to stay in my suite with my bridesmaids, but we still used a number of the poses from my inspiration board and got some really good photos as a result. I didn't put as much effort into the wedding photos and since Mollie knew this wasn't a priority for me, there were only a handful of pictures of just me and my groom. There were still good pictures, but only a handful to choose from. Mollie and her husband stayed for the reception and got all the traditional photos, but by this time, I didn't care anymore and it showed in the photos. It took 2-3 months to get the wedding photos back. There were over 1500 photos from the wedding day and we got about 600 to choose from. It was a little overwhelming. All in all, I had a great experience working with Mollie and her husband and would recommend them to anyone considering them for their wedding. However, remember that you are an active participant in the photo process; the more effort you put into your pictures, the more you will get out the experience. I recommend researching what you want in advance and letting your photographer know what your priorities are. We referenced the poses from the inspiration boards several times at each shoot and my favorite photo is from one of those poses that I never would have been able to come up with on the spot.

Wichita is so fortunate to have a local family business like this one. One of Wichita's best gems…read morefor sure! The business has been family owned for YEARS! If you go into the store today or even five years from now you can still expect to see the same friendly faces every time you drop by. They have a lot of vintage cameras in the store and you can also ask to check out newer cameras or as about the latest and greatest. I went in here about a year ago to have a lens looked at and I couldn't even locate how to know what kind of lens it was. The only reason I knew it fit a Canon camera was because that is what my Dad had owned his whole life. The worker was able to tell me everything about the lens and how to make it useable on my camera today or to just keep it as a vintage item at home. If you have questions about random items you want for personal or business use you need to go in here and get their professional opinion. They will tell you all your options including different brands. They know it all and will advise you in the right direction for what best fits you and don't tell you what to get just give you all the options. They have been at the same location for years which is nice so if you don't like hunting down where stores move to its great knowing their still located at the same place! If you are looking for used and new equipment they have it here! When they came out with the news Canon model SLR a few years ago I went to the store to check it out. It really unfortunate big corporate America gives large box stores priority for getting these items in store verses giving it to the small business owners to help their store survive and provide the best quality possible to their customers. So I had my name added to the list for when they got the camera in stock to check it out when they had it and buy it from them directly. I am a big advocate of shopping local and supporting our local businesses because Wichita is a great place to live and I want to continue seeing growth through non-chain places. If you are needing to get a quote for insurance purpose on your camera equipment this is the place to go. They will fill out the papers with what you have and stamp it up and write in the cost to replace all the goods. This is great because it is exactly what my home insurance company is looking for so if I ever have to make a claim on my camera I have all the proper documentation on my end and theirs. Love this place, great customer service, it right on Douglas along with lots of other local businesses so check it out!

A lot of the collectible cameras weren't for sale which was weird, I was asked to come back on Wednesday morning and try to convince the owner to get rid of them. This was almost half of the stuff in the store! I assumed a camera store sold cameras.... Still this place is awesome, they process film and repair cameras. They also had a lot of professional equipment along with chemicals and equipment for developing. I found lots of odds and ends that would cost me a lot of time and money on ebay to scrap together. Grips, lights, nuts, bags and lenses. The prices were cheap, beyond fair. If your into film (medium and 35mm) and cameras check this place out, hopefully they'll put some prices on the cameras the nerds want.
