This place is an actual joke of a business and I highly recommend no one waste their time dealing with the front-desk employees. Lady straight argued with me over paperwork I never got or signed--literally, not even in my file. I mean, does this place not understand how paperwork actually works? Just in case they don't, let me school them--in order for paperwork to be valid it has to be signed and returned back--that's the patients way of agreeing to the policy of the place. I was going to make a complaint to whoever her superior was and she would refuse to give me her name. Businesses need to learn real quick that their lower-level employees are the first experience a consumer has with their services--either train your staff better or hire people who know what they are doing. read more

The staff at Porter Dentistry are attentive and courteous. The hygienist is gentle, yet thorough and cleans my teeth without the usual pain and blood I had in the past. These people need a serious wake up call. While Dr(s) Porter are fine enough, it's the front office staff that need a full change out. I had an appointment for 4pm, they called me at 2pm asking where I was. I stated I had it for 4pm and that I could be there in a flash in 30 minutes. They said they would have to reschedule and the reschedule fee was $50. I said No, I had it for 4pm and it was verified for 4pm previously. They retorted they verified for 2pm. I told them No and I was not paying the $50 for what was their mistake. No attempt at solving a problem - they just believed in getting argumentative and further escalating, which I refused to go along with. With the tone I was given, I could just feel anger coming on so I said to cancel it. So if you're nervous about the dentist, does something like this make you feel better? Does it raise or lower your overall anxiety and stress level? Do you think they would try it with you? If they do this at the front office level, what else goes on? I guess they really needed the $50. Needless to say, I will be finding another dentist whose staff does not act this way. read more

I was so scared of dentists until I found Porter dentistry. Everyone is so nice and 100% committed to making patients feel as comfortable as possible. I had some pretty bad teeth and was never judged. I've had 7 teeth extracted here and though it was uncomfortable of course, it was quick and absolutely painless. Set up new patient- The process was easy and painless. They helped find the insurance we have, since we do not have a card with number, they were fine with me requesting an exam and cleaning at same time! (unlike other dentists in area I called and told me I had to come back for second visit for cleaning) The hygienist was careful, gentle and explained each thing she did, before she did it, answered all my questions and was patient. I went there today very first time for my children to see a dentist. And prob a little late. But There 2 and 3 and needed to get a cleaning and some work done. But iv always been rather scarred because my two year old son is rather difficult when it comes to new ppl n places. I would have much rather had my daughter's hygienist for my son rather then the young lady he got My daughter now who is 3 would have done great with anyone but her hygienist was more intimate with my daughter kind eyes a big smile behind her mask caring words and just a better care and since for a child. Now im not sayin my sons hygienist was horrible she was patient and did her very best with my tempermental son , just big smiles and cute baby talk can go along way as a first impression for children. But granted ither way i dont think my son would have been easy for either lady. Now while my son is screaming. ( i have a child on each side of the operating rooms ) i look up and see a young lady who i guess is suppose to x ray my daughter . .. To sum it up.. Isnt minding her own buisness. Like im not already struggling. Also you should deff order small film for children when they get mouth x rayed. Not only was she impatient and kept speaking to fast to her so she didnt really know what to do. And of course couldnt shut her little mouth on the adult size film. But above all dr porter was great of course quick and to the point and on to the next but i plan on getting my childrens teeth cleaned there long as all still goes well. read more

Dr. Porter took his time and explained all possibilities with me and made sure we were on the same page with treatment. Very pleased with Porter Dentistry of Lebanon, the doctors Porter and their staff are friendly and professional and very helpful. I don't have the greatest of teeth so I've been to see them quite a bit and I've been absolutely delighted with their approach. I'm glad I took my son here. He had a sore tooth, and they pulled it that day. Never been there before, saw me the same day that I called. Filling out new patient paperwork, the examination and extraction only took a total of no more than 2 hours. When I told my son, who is 8, that it was time to go, he had to ask if they had pulled his tooth already. Ideal experience! read more
