We cooked, used the fire pit at night, even though the cabins are close it was quite at night to be able to sleep. It's was like staying in one of the tiny house that you see on TV! You have to bring your own linens, towels but I'm OK with that. There are pots, pans, coffee pot, toaster, plates, silverware so it all worked for us. I would stay here again and recommend it to others going to the area. Oh the only thing that was a challenge was the bathroom mirror! If your 6' or taller you'll be able to use it other wise bring a mirror! ; )

The fly in the ointment seems to be their policy on visitors, and they've always done it this way. If you come with a motor home and have a friend take you out and back in, you MUST park and walk to the office and pay each time. This can get expensive when you have to run to the store a couple times, and particularly for those that can't walk and have a handicap sticker. Bernice is a treasure, but the old guy with an attitude says this is the rule.

We got ready for the concert, left for the concert, and got a call from her husband that we had to go back and get our stuff because they were kicking us out! I had never heard of such a thing! They said they were calling the booking company, and I informed him that I was calling the police. We went back and got our stuff. I called the booking company to make sure we weren't getting charged, and we booked elsewhere. Police never showed anyway. I had urged the man to watch a video of us checking in so he could see we didn't deserve to get kicked out, and he refused. He would hardly engage in any convo with us at all. I travel a ton and have never encountered anything like this before. If you book here, have a back up plan and be careful to act like a robot checking in because anything misconstrued as rude will get you kicked out!
