Used to love the coffee deals. This last year the decor is very minimal leaving walls bare and uncomfortable when so much can be done with the coastal feel. Sandwiches are amazing but expensive at $6 and up. read more

Port Saint Java is an absolute asset to the community. They've always got a new yummy coffee concoction and super delicious baked goods. Their feta spinach crossaint is delectable. The staff is super friendly and welcoming and the setting is homy and comfortable, I love this place. read more

Great coffee, great food, amazing atmosphere. I would much rather go here and support a local business than go to a Dunkin' or Starbucks. Last time I was here, the said they didn't sell the chicken salad anymore, and I was so sad! I have never tried it but I'm sure it was delicious and hope they bring it back. read more

The sausage egg and cheese bagel on an everything is so good! My husband ordered the white chocolate mocha and I got a chai latte. Everything was amazing! I didnt expect much from a Port St John coffee shop, but as soon as I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was warm and inviting while the decor was cute. I felt totally at home. Total gem in a part of the state that really needs one. Highly recommended. They are a coffee shop primarily that also has brekkie/brunch food options-not pre-made either. We ordered espresso and tea-based lattes and breakfast sandwiches. I had the sausage egg cheese on croissant and better half had same with bacon on English muffin. Hot and crispy. Locared conviently in a cute little shopping center on Fay Blvd one light from the famous Grissom Parway. The cafe was pleasantly decorated and clean. Good food and good service and kid friendly. If in the area it's a great place to visit. Off stree parking and plenty of it. And remember they open at 5:30 AM. Great little pastry shop, reasonable prices and fantastic service. Had breakfast here a couple weeks ago with my parents. Super cozy place!! I got a bacon, egg and cheese panini with an iced white mocha. My drink was super delicious!! My sandwich was really good but could of used a little more egg and cheese to fill the sandwich out, there was just a little to much bread. My mom got the bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel and my dad got the breakfast burrito. Both said they were extremely good! Definitely looking forward to coming back!! read more

Best (only) coffee shop in Port St John! They have delicious cold brew and apparently their coffee is from a local roaster. I walked in today and found out they now have lots of gluten free options too! Bagels, sandwiches, wraps, and a banana bread which I havent tried yet. This is pretty much the only spot around that caters to gluten free folk so I will be returning often. read more

First time there and was pleasantly surprised! Hidden away in a corner, next to a yoga studio, Port St. Java was a great place to get some work done. The coffee was great, I had the iced hazelnut with almond milk, and a great little breakfast sandwich. They offered free wifi and was pretty busy while I was there. Love this place. The owners and staff are SO friendly. I've gone 3 times in one week. Had the chai latte, java chip frappe, regular coffee, and a breakfast sandwich. Everything was awesome. They have muffins and cinnamon rolls along with lots of other yummy stuff. I definitely recommend Port St Java. It's another little gem and it's hidden in PSJ. It's a cozy cafe' with class. They way it should be. Actually, it reminds me of The Main Street Cafe' in Cheshire, Ct, that I used to frequent and love. A great alternative to your d&d, 7-11, or wherever "gas station" that you grab your cup o'Joe. Yummy, yummy, yummy! My favorite is a house special, the Zebra. Definitely worth going up there and in my opinion, it's 1,000x better than Starbucks ever is! Starbucks seems to always leave a bitter taste in my mouth. However, Port St. Java is on point and doesn't leave that nasty taste. I recommend it! read more

This place has changed - and not for the better. We went in today simply to buy a pound of dark roast whole bean. They guy behind the counter seemed clueless so he had to go ask someone else - she promptly said "I don't know if we have enough to sell him & still have enough for our customers"!! Guess it was my mistake, thinking this was a coffee shop and that I've been buying their coffee this way for the last 4 years. I picked up one of their cards that normally gets punched when you make a purchase - after 10 punches you get a free drink - he then had to ask about that. I guess they discontinued this for people buying whole bean. Instead of telling me this, he didn't say a word and just took the card from me and put it back in the holder. He wasn't a friendly person & my purchasing whole bean coffee instead of something on the menu seemed to annoy him. The the girl who appeared to be in charge weighed out the coffee beans & went into the back for something - when she came out she started chatting with the unfriendly guy at the register. Then, after we just gave her a look she came to finish the order. The coffee beans were put into a plastic Ziplock bag - normally it's put into a plastic-lined paper bag. Then she said "oh did you want that in a paper bag instead?". At this point I said "no" just to get out. The whole atmosphere of this place has changed & it seemed more like "the blind leading the blind". We've also noticed a difference in their Frappes since the personnel changed - instead of being nice & thick, the last couple we've bought have been very runny. If we can't be treated in a friendly & courteous manner, I'd just as soon buy Maxwell House or Folgers. We will not be returning after this experience. read more
