Certainly, a very nice surprise... After my wife and I took care of some personal business a few mornings ago, she suggested we drop in here for a quick brunch of sorts. The street view does not do this place good justice - once you enter you find yourself in a sizeable coffee house with plenty of seating or counterspace to use. The menu was not extensive, but it wasn't short-n-sweet either. It had all the mainstays such as lattes and Americanos, along with breakfast servings from eggs and ham/sausage to delicious bakery items. We choose to have some bakery items... My wife had their blueberry muffin while I had their iced oatmeal brownie - they were decadently delicious. They have a nice selection of gluten free treats, which are made on site. The staff was friendly and quick. The environment was comfortable and clean. My son enjoyed a slice of banana bread (gluten free) and told me it was just like homemade. They were cognizant of the age of the patron and made him a beautiful hot chocolate that wasn't too hot for him to drink. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning visit. The only downfall I experienced want their fault. The entrance the the parking lot has little notice and no turn lane off a road where people are doing 55-70 mph (speed limit is 55). I nearly got rear-ended even with my turn signal on well in advance. Please come enjoy the coffee shop but be aware of your surroundings when pulling in. read more

Truly a home run to say today is opening day for them. Service and food were both outstanding! Their brunch menu was very well thought of and I had a hard time trying to decide on which dish to order because I wanted it all! I chose a cup of cappuccino to go along with the baked French toast. What a cute & quaint place to stop by to have coffee or some breakfast with friends & family. We ordered at the counter and the staff were very helpful with explaining the menu to us. Our coffee and scones/treats came out immediately after ordering. The cortado I ordered was delicious, one of the best I've ever had. The breakfast sandwich was also very yummy and I was very impressed with all the food and drinks. Well this cozy cafe has definitely become one of my favorites. Everything we have tried whether it was a food (Avocado toast, sandwich or my favorite sausage bread) or drink has been wonderful. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable as well as super efficient. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy your coffee or read the paper, sit with family and have a bite to eat. Gender specific restrooms are clean and parking is in a shared lot (although most business in plaza are by appointment only). I am not fond of the fact that there is one napkin dispenser for the location ( I suggest either placing napkins on plate like Panera does or have napkin dispenser on each table). Do I recommend? We got there right as they opened before we took off on a ride. The nice young lady made us a couple of breakfast sandwiches that were really good. If they ask if you want the onion jam say yes. Didn't think I would like it but it's awesome. Coffee seemed to be quality as well. Starbucks always tastes cheap and acidic. What a 25 -30 year old (estimated) age staff person had to say about our US military - who probably has no war or conflict experience was annoying. I wanted breakfast and to talk with my husband not listen to ongoing pontification of his 'world views' of the presidential election, his views on the candidates and his contention he doesn't talk about his world views unless asked. I have been here twice and the first time was great. The coffee and food were good and service was great. I couldn't wait to bring my parents especially my dad who is a huge coffee person. unfortunately when I brought my dad the coffee wasn't that good. i ordered a gingerbread mocha hot coffee and I tasted no gingerbread. My dad ordered a hot mocha coffee with an espresso shot, when the guy brought my sandwich my dad politely asked if the espresso shot was in his coffee. The guy told him he gave us both double shots and we said ok and we're going to enjoy the rest of our father daughter day. unfortunately the guy went to the girl working with him and called my dad cheeky for asking a simple question. Know I work in retail I know when someone is being rude, nice or cheeky and my dad was not being cheeky. The guy then proceeded to bring a shot of espresso to my dad after we just said we were ok. Nice coffee close to hotels near KSC. Was almost deterred by comment about coffee not being very strong. I'd say it is of medium strength, pleasant and not weak tasting. As far as review about politics goes, they are just a few doors down from a Republican Party head quarters. Having a sign that says "Women's rights are human rights" is hardly outrageous.
