I had a very inviting experience. The Part Department specifically! Thank you very much.

They advertise overnight delivery on parts for $110 and then when parts arrive 6 days later, they blame it on UPS.

Extremely disappointing post-sale experience -- CPO purchase gone wrong I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Porsche 911 from Porsche Delaware with very low mileage, expecting the quality and reliability promised by both the CPO program and the Porsche brand. Shockingly, the vehicle developed a serious issue just days after I took delivery -- something that should have been caught during certification, or at least disclosed by the dealership. It's now been over five months, and despite multiple service visits, the problem remains unresolved. While the dealership staff has been polite in our interactions, they've done virtually nothing to meaningfully support or remedy the situation. No ownership, no escalation, no effort to stand behind the product they sold. Eventually, after I insisted, I received a lowball offer to buy back the car--one that in no way reflects the circumstances or the brand's responsibilities. Especially for the dealership who certified and sold the car. This has been a frustrating, time-consuming, and costly experience -- completely at odds with what one expects when buying a premium vehicle from a brand like Porsche. Sadly, I can no longer trust this dealership, and I strongly recommend that buyers be cautious and not take the certification at face value. read more

Just absolutely perfect interactions from beginning to end. Out of state purchase for a new Cayenne. From the initial email, Richie Garchitorena was extremely communicative and responsive to my emails, texts, etc. We got most all of the deal completed via email/text and then they were quick to help schedule transport from DE to TN. They let me know when pickup would be, sent pictures prior to pickup and everything went 100% as scheduled. I would also be remiss if I did not mention Jennifer Beamish in the Business Office for calling and getting all paperwork sent (most all via email and electronic with a couple documents Fedex to me overnight to complete all paperwork). In addition, they are able to complete all my TN state taxes, registration, title work, etc. I know a lot of dealers can do this for adjoining states, but had not experienced this for a state further away. This was done on their side, and a month later my registration and plates came to me with all taxes and fees paid. Just a completely well-organized and well-ran dealership, and will be my future Porsche dealer for purchases from here on out. read more

Porsche Delaware - Car Dealers Near Me - Newark, Delaware

Had a chance to purchase a new car from this dealership and treated very well. My sales person was Richie Garchitorena who explained in details the greatness of the 2024 Macan they had on the floor. Was given very good trade in value for both the cars I was exchanging, and in addition was given back the cost of my last service at the dealership. Was in and out in about two days with the Macan, and was given a few extras to boot. Would I shop here again if I was looking to get into a Porsche? YES for should, but I'll be looking for Richie when that time comes. read more

Bad experience, insulting staff, canceled my order for no reason, had a bad attitude when I asked why and basically acted like it was my fault they mad a mistake with my order. Had to buy from a REAL Porsche dealer who had no problem completing the order and honoring the contract we both agreed to. This company could be having issues in 2024, not recommended read more

Avoid from this irresponsible dealer. Don't order any parts from this dealer. They do not get any responsibility for the part although you choose 1 day expedited shipping method. It has been 4 days and I still do not have the part. When I ask for help, they say that after shipping they do not have control. How they do not have control, they are shipper of the part, they should contact with shipping company and solve the issue. Because of them, I am not able to fix my vehicle. Worst dealer i have ever seen. I do not recommend to anyone to do business. If anyone needs proof, I can show it with pleasure. read more

Unprofessional. Not a proper steward of the Porsche brand. Mike Young lied to me and sold me a car with 4 year old tires after saying they were new tires. I have a text message affirming that "there are new tires on the Porsche" perhaps they ment someone else's Porsche, because there were not new tires on MINE (picture attached of the cracked tire) oh wow, this is pretty typical you must be thinking, dealer lied about some tires. Hold my beer. It gets better. So after the purchase i send my money and then it takes nearly an entire week for a transport to pick up the car. The worst part here is that the dealer keeps telling me "oh well probably today"... when they knew all along that the transporter TOLD them they would be there thursday or friday. Finally on wednesday they told me "oh we called them, for sure it's tomorrow or friday"... (Sophia the ABC dispatch told the dealer fri on monday - she told me so herself) Friday the vehicle was picked up. Mike Young, my sales man was on a personal day. Mandy handed over the vehicle to the transporter. She handed him a check for the delivery, written for the wrong company. Nobody noticed this yet. Then she sent me a picture with no BOL and ignored my immediate question on transit time. The next day a transport company reached out to me: "Hi it's Transportation company Did driver contacted with you already?" I said hi good morning, i have no message from him at this time. they said good morning and let me know when he will contact you. i said sure ofc. and so saturday passed and no call from the driver. sunday no call from driver, i think hm well ok he must be getting on here by now, so i'll text this lady about the dropoff arrangements She says "sorry but dealer gave your car to another carrier" nobody at the dealer answers - I start to worry. Mike Young answers text finally and says "hey she's lying to you, we gave it to them" We talk to Mike Young on the phone, and he agrees to call me first thing in the am Monday. Monday comes. Mandy is not in the office. I had her personal phone since she texted me the pictures of the pickup and i pinged her and she affirmed in writing that "company abc has your car" (company abc did NOT have my car) "he told me he was from ABC" says the message. I didn't answer u because you are not my client. Lies, and gee thanks... Now forward a few hours and the poor lady at ABC company is saying "sir call the police if you have to but i don't have your car". I called Mike DiDio the general manager at this time and maybe i mentioned i would call the cops i don't remember... i do remember that at some point i told him "hey ok fine, let's say i believe you and the car's really on its way to me... what are you gonna do about this now?? how bout those extended warranties eh? this isn't how you handle someones $xxxxx vehicle" "oh we can cancel the deal if you want, I don't respond well to threats sir" he said. I don't either i said and hung up. if my vehicle is on its way why would you be willing to give me my money? fishy. I called the police and reported it missing and gave their names. suddenly my car is found 2 hours later. The shipper contacts me and it's mostly clear sailing communicating with them. The driver was super nice and i felt super bad for him b/c he wanted me to pay and i had to refuse. The dealer had of course given him a check for the wrong company. He called his bosses and they ok'ed me. Thank you Porsche Delaware for nothing. you can't fix this with a phone charger. read more

Horrible experience. This Macan which I bought for my wife was the 5th Porsche I have purchased over the years. I've had a 914 and 3 911s; one of which currently shares driving duties with a Corvette and 4 motorcycles. This was the absolute worst, by far, sales experience I've ever had with a Porsche dealer. In fact, it's the worst experience I've ever had with ANY car dealership of any marque. And it all comes down to one employee, salesman Joseph Pestkowski. I have never experienced a more rude, disrespectful , arrogant and ignorant sales person anywhere, in any establishment than this young guy. And I'm a 72 year old retired Police Commissioner who served for 40 years. For the sake of transparency I did have a lengthy conversation with General Manager Michael DiDio about the horrific treatment I received from Joseph. And he did seem rather concerned, but all he could offer me as an explanation, is that it was " a perfect storm". (??) I have no idea what this meant. In conclusion, I would never do business with this dealership again, but should you decide to deal with them, avoid Joseph Pestkowksi like the plague. He is a vile young man who shouldn't be selling anything let alone high line cars. read more

Bad customer service by River. He tells me he will call me, he doesnt. I call him, he says he was "at lunch". He doesnt seem to know anything about cars. I ask him can you change my rims, he said he will find out. He replies about 4 days later. Ridiculous. See our text conversation, I made sure to let him know I wasn't happy with his service: read more

This dealership is just another stealership. The customer service is not great. They got the price wrong on the papers they had me sign (of course it was too high, not too low). The salesperson was very slow about returning my calls, until I made an offer on the vehicle. They let a month pass before they even filled out paperwork to send my title out to me. The sales manager lied to my face and told me it doesn't need a thing. When I took it to my local Porsche dealer, they came back with a list of $17,000 of necessary repairs. Needless to say, these people are not trustworthy by any stretch of the imagination. I was told by another Porsche dealer that a Porsche dealer wouldn't lie and risk their reputation. Well, this one certainly did. The only reason they get one star is that I plan to keep and sort out the vehicle. Otherwise, I would give them no stars. These people firmly solidify the scummy used car salesperson stereotype. Good luck. read more

I recently bought a 2020 Macan GTS from Porsche Delaware and it was an excellent experience. I was out of state so everything was handled virtually. Dave Szymanksi in particular was spot on- very fair. timely, accurate, and ensured my delivery to another state was exactly when I needed it. The rest of the team was also very helpful. The car has been great with no issues. Overall I would certainly purchase from them again and recommend to all local and out of state buyers. read more

I travel nearly an hour for service here. Very helpful, courteous and communicative sales (Amanda & River) and service advisor (Matthew).

Dave helped us through purchasing a used hybrid Cayenne. Process was straightforward. We agreed to a price, shook hands on it, and came back to pick it up 2 weeks later. In the meantime they mended a cut in the leather making it look flawless. Professional all the way. read more

This place has really awful customer service. I sent a web inquiry about a Porsche Cayenne Coupe GTS ($120k+) I received an email within a few minutes from Michael Young which was positive. After that everything went south. No return phone calls, nobody answers the phone, no return texts. Just rude. I even followed up by leaving a message for Alex the General Sales Manager and 3 hours later called again with no response. I have bought more than 10 Porsches over the years, and I've never dealt with a dealership with such terrible service. read more

Horrible experience with their used department. I enquired about a car as soon as it was listed online, and got a speedy response from Rob - a good start. I had three simple questions, to which I got one-liner email responses, including "I am out of the office but I will check on that and get back to you Friday. I am off tomorrow.". Then I received this email early Friday morning "I was off yesterday but I was informed that the Audi has been sold. I am sorry that this one got away from you. I hope our paths cross in the future. If there is anything I can do please let me know. Enjoy the day." When I complained, I was told ".... you did not say you wanted the car and you didn't give me a deposit. ....". No mention of the fact that he didn't ask how serious I was or whether I wanted to put a deposit to hold it while he was taking time away from my purchase - nor that he could pass my interest onto another salesman who could respond promptly. I had expected more from a dealership carrying the Porsche name, but I guess it was my bad expecting a salesman to be looking after my interests. read more

I would normally give this dealership 4+ stars, as Mike is great to work with. However, on my last (very recent) visit, NO ONE had masks on in the dealership (when I commented on that to the receptionist, she said they all had them nearby. Seriously? This is unbelievable because of their high number Coronavirus cases in DE. They provided a rental, but it didn't seem like it had been properly sanitized. Just beware. read more

Top-notch service at Porsche Delaware! Mike Adams and his team couldn't have done any better to make sure that I knew what to expect before and during my service appointment. This was the worst buying experience of my life. It was simply a big waste of my time. I inquired about a 2020 Porsche Macan Turbo listed for sale. I spoke to the sales rep Pierre Oulai who provided me with the build sheet and clear Carfax report for the car. We discussed the asking price and I made him a fair offer. My offer was approved and accepted by his General Sales Manager as evidenced by a text message confirming the deal. I asked if a deposit was required to hold the car and I received no response. I called the next day to arrange a convenient time to visit the dealership to test drive the car and finalize the transaction. I received a text message from Pierre telling me the car was no longer available. I am unclear how that could be possible when all deals must be approved by the General Manager. He should never have approved another offer when he knew we had a deal pending. We took the time to secure the funds, schedule time off only to find out at the 11th hour that another sales rep allegedly sold the car. I tendered an offer that was accepted in writing which by law constitutes a legal and binding contract. Clearly this dealership participates in bait and switch scams designed to lure potential buyers with vehicles they never intend to sell at a discounted price. It's illegal in most states including Delaware. Had we known we would have never wasted our time. As a member of Porsche Club of America I feel I have a responsibility to warn the membership of these unsavory business practices. No one should be treated with such malice. I am confident that a quality brand like Porsche would never condone such actions from one of their dealers. If Porsche Delaware will not honor a tendered an accepted offer than how can anyone trust them to honor the certified warranty. Now I can understand why online car dealers like Carvana, Vroom, Autotrader and Cargurus are gaining significant market share. Perhaps I should look to the online dealers because Porsche Delaware clearly has no interest in building reciprocal customer loyalty. read more

I called today (May 4, 2018) to make a 5PM appt to test drive the Cayenne. The gentleman I spoke with in sales sounded put out - they close at 6. - I asked reception to put me through to the sales mgr. Instead, she sent me to a nameless mailbox, clearly not the sales mgr's. - I called again, and this time asked reception to put me through to the general mgr - she told me the GM did not have voicemail, but that his email was mdidio@porschedelaware (this is actually the sales mgr, according to their website). Sean Johnson, i believe you are the GM, please address this with your staff at your earliest convenience. read more

I highly recommend this dealership. I worked with Dave Szymanski he was highly professional and competent. Dave got me the deal I wanted and the numbers beat out other dealerships. I will definitely will use Dave for my next car and buy from this dealership. read more

Porsche Delaware advised me they would contact me when my title arrived so that I can collect the title in person. They mailed paperwork and the title to my former address in which my mail was opened. The paperwork was a copy of my check (which I already had a copy of). All of my personal information is now in the hands of a stranger. They also placed the car title in the mail in which it was lost for 2 weeks. I paid $595.00 in document fees only to have my documents mishandled, after I was told they would contact me. They brushed me off as if this matter was of no importance to them. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH MY EXPERIENCE !!!! I called on a 2011 Infinity QX56 that was advertised for $53,000 I was told by the general manager that the vehicle was in perfect condition, they also went on to tell me that the car was traded by a return customer and it only had 7 thousand miles on it however the vehicle was advertised with 20 thousand miles, I explained that I was not from the area and it would take me about 6 hrs of driving to get there and I did not want any surprises, Sean the general manager assured me the car was perfect so I left a $1000 deposit on my credit card. Well when I finally arrived to the dealership the truck was parked out front and I instantly realized they were trying to pull a fast one, the truck had 13 spots where it was touched up and 3 dents on the left front door and right rear door, there was also curb damage to the wheels, when I spoke to Sean he was very confrontational to the point where he was yelling at me, I asked if he just missed all these spots and he stated " IT IS A USED TRUCK " I refreshed his memory on how perfect he had told me it was and he just became more confrontational, I finally decided to leave before he got violent with me, so I decided to call the owner of the company Michael Lanaski on two occasions but he never returned my calls, I have purchased over 35 new used vehicles up to this point in my life price ranging from $30k to $200k and THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD BUYING ANY VEHICLE IN MY LIFE and unless you are some type UFC fighter or professional fighter DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY, YOU MIGHT GET BEAT UP BY SEAN THE GENERAL MANAGER. THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC!!! I had a 2011 911s, in excellent condition. I live in New Hampshire and started out with the Porsche dealers here and worked my way south. After every Porsche dealer in NH, MA, CT, NY and NJ tried to steal my car I talked to Jamie from Porsche Deleware. From the start it was very easy to communicate, very nice and offered me what my car was really worth. The Porsche 911 c4s that I was purchasing was also very fairly priced. My next concern was, I'm driving 7 hours, will the car be different then advertised? Jamie gave me a thorough run down on the car and it was better then what I anticipated. My last concern was were they going to trap me at the dealership for hours like I had been in the past at another place. Jamie assured me I'd be in and out. Once again he delivered as promised. I was in and out of there in around 30 minutes. Overall I would say it was the best car buying experience I have ever had and there have been many. I will 100% make the trip down there again for my next Porsche. read more
