We still ate it because we had been waiting for nearly 50 minutes at this point. The main food was ok, except they got my order wrong. Again, I saw no use in complaining since our waitress was so busy and we hardly saw her. That would be a bad experience by itself. For some reason one of the tables next to us decided to host a "Dolly Parton Tribute" since it was 9/25 (9-2-5). At one point, one of the ladies turned on a speaker in the small, enclosed seating areas and asked who objects to this Dolly Parton impersonator singing. When I objected she laughed in my face and continued to set up the song. Luckily the waitress came by and I asked if she could put a stop to it. Maybe the restaurant could have prevented this. Overall, this experience sucked. We were trying to make it to the football game and we ended up missing the first quarter because of our horrible experience tonight. ALSO, who charges for water? We were charged $3.96 for four waters. I was going to say something about the overall experience but my grandmother wouldn't let me. This place is only open FRIDAYS and SATURDAYS. It is easily a local favorite for bbq. I enjoy the pulled pork sandwich the most, including baked beans (which has ground turkey in it). The smoked chicken would also be in the running for my favorite as it is very juicy and soft to bite into. I have never had a bad meal here and would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. It is very easy to spot as usually there is a huge smoke stack coming out the back where the meats are being smoked. Usually a 5-10 minute wait. If you want good bbq and are in the area on a Friday or Saturday I would most defined stop here.
