UNSAFE VEHICLES!…read more When completing my 6-hours lesson (July 2019) I came to realize the vehicles they were using 2003 & 2006 Toyota Corollas were affected by the big Takata airbag recall either causing malfunction of the front driver and passenger airbags or deploying with metal shards causing possible fatalities. I asked to run the VIN number of the vehicle I was using and I was denied the usage. Lucky I used a website where I could retrieve the VIN number from the license plate. My findings had me in awe. The vehicle I was driving had two open airbag recalls, the ones I was concerned about. The instructors themselves were polite and knowledgeable. They truly knew what they were doing and were never more than 10 minutes late. Throughout my six hours I, thank god, remained safe and in one piece. We at first had an issue with someone at the office about scheduling, and they offered us an extra hour of practice. They although did not honor that promise. After completing my 6 hours I asked to speak to a superior and was given the the cell phone number of the owner. I brought it to her attention about the open recalls on the vehicle I had driven. One of the two recalls had been open since 2014, and the other 2015! She showed a slight concern, and even asked me to run another vehicle for her, at the time the other vehicle I ran for her turned up clean but as I have check again it has a new open recall for the same potentially lethal airbag issue (Oct 19'). After reporting my findings of the vehicle she asked for she responded and said she would be getting the information for the two other vehicles in her fleet. I never received another response. I vividly expressed my concern and the urgency of the situation. I also explained to her that remedies of these recalls were available and free of charge at a local Toyota dealership. After almost a year later, I am currently looking for a refresher lesson and a rental for my upcoming road test. After running both VINs again today it is clear that my urgent concern was not taken seriously, and the blood of the students and instructors will be in their hands, god forbid a serious accident ever happens. The instructors were great, but management and maintenance needs an overhaul.

I would absolutely not have your kids enlist here.

We're really pleased with the environment at this school. It's a hidden gem! I toured a few…read moredifferent preschools/daycares in the area and felt this one was the calmest and likely to support developing focus even in young children. It's quite small, about a dozen students currently, ranging in age from 2-6, so I feel they all get a good amount of attention. I'm always impressed by how pleasant and polite the children are when I've stopped by. The director has been very easy to communicate with. We get a monthly newsletter outlining the topics the children will be discussing for the month and she'll also occasionally text photos of my child at his work. We have a few different family members who help out with pickup and it's easy to text her to let her know. Extended care use is also flexible; we're charged just for the hours that we actually need to use. My FOMO-personality son also naps surprisingly well here when he refuses at home on the weekends at least 50% of the time. At the director's suggestion, we transitioned to the school with just mornings during a week of the summer camp at the end of the summer, then did a month of 3 mornings a week, a month of 5 mornings a week, and then a few months ago increased to full-time and extended care. Also, it's probably also that we've been lucky, but with the small size, my son has not actually brought home the continuous series of sicknesses that other parents warned me about when kids start being cared for outside the home. Knock on wood that this streak continues! I expect that their requiring everyone be up-to-date on their vaccinations and to get an annual flu vaccine probably helps as well. It's much appreciated since we also have a newborn at home. With regards to the first review from a few years ago, perhaps it wasn't in the handbook then, but it's definitely in the parent handbook now that when you enroll, you're committing to the Sept-June year and will lose 50% of your deposit if you withdraw early. I'm not sure how it worked back then in terms of the teachers; right now, the school director is also the teacher most of the days, with a second teacher on the days when more children are enrolled.

They were polite and very knowledgeable of what I needed for obtaining my NY CDL A license. I viewed all the videos they offered in my 15 hour package and was able to collect key notes from those videos. Junior is a superstar! Additionally, I was able to schedule 6 consecutive days of training from 2 to 3 hours a day and schedule my road test on the 7th day with the DMV with E-Z Wheels tractor trailer. This is something most schools do not offer which I know from experience. While training at the yard and on the road, I had 4 different instructors, all who were patient and well experienced with great tips. However one instructor, Chris, had a style that positively impacted my learning experience the most. He was attentive and consistently called out what I was doing right and what I was doing wrong. His tips are worth gold!! I am someone who never stepped foot into a tractor and to now all of sudden perform double clutching on the road and drive in traffic within Elizabeth without failure. Chris talked the fear out of me and is the reason why I PASSED my CDL A road test on the 7th day. I am forever grateful the knowledge Chris shared, his patience, and professionalism. While everyone learns faster or longer then others, I can ensure if you are 100% committed to obtaining your CDL, E-Z Wheels will provide everything you need to pass your road test. It was 7 days of a great experience!!
