I would text and they would read it and not respond - over and over again. Finally I would threaten to use another company and they would apologize and respond. They also quoted me a price for my daughter to take lessons and her road test. They scheduled the test. Then right before it they told me it was more money because it was scheduled in Newark. THEY WERE THE ONES THAT SCHEDULED THE TEST - you would think they would have asked me at that time if it was okay or mentioned the upcharge. They are EXTREMELY UNETHICAL. They were polite and very knowledgeable of what I needed for obtaining my NY CDL A license. I viewed all the videos they offered in my 15 hour package and was able to collect key notes from those videos. Junior is a superstar! Additionally, I was able to schedule 6 consecutive days of training from 2 to 3 hours a day and schedule my road test on the 7th day with the DMV with E-Z Wheels tractor trailer. This is something most schools do not offer which I know from experience. While training at the yard and on the road, I had 4 different instructors, all who were patient and well experienced with great tips. However one instructor, Chris, had a style that positively impacted my learning experience the most. He was attentive and consistently called out what I was doing right and what I was doing wrong. His tips are worth gold!! I am someone who never stepped foot into a tractor and to now all of sudden perform double clutching on the road and drive in traffic within Elizabeth without failure. Chris talked the fear out of me and is the reason why I PASSED my CDL A road test on the 7th day. I am forever grateful the knowledge Chris shared, his patience, and professionalism. While everyone learns faster or longer then others, I can ensure if you are 100% committed to obtaining your CDL, E-Z Wheels will provide everything you need to pass your road test. Both the female and male instructor answer phone calls during the driving lesson and it's hard to focus. They talk more about their personal lives than giving actual advice on how to drive. They might know how to drive. Doesn't mean they know how to teach people. I called them before my first lesson and they said 50 for an hour. When I get in the car they said 60. They constantly keep their hands on your wheel instead of giving you the practice on your own that you need. They are extremely unprofessional and I don't recommend you waste your time or money.

The receptionist is rude and disorganized it took them two days to locate my information, and I never received a call back. I had to go there in person, only for them to "find" it. Turns out, they didn't even have my name in the system just my phone number, which is unacceptable. On top of that, the driving instructors are either late, lazy, or make you feel uncomfortable. If an instructor is running late, no one notifies you. And if you go back inside to ask what's going on, they'll claim you refused to take the class and mark it as completed anyway.
