First, and most importantly, the lamb meat for the gyro cones from the meat on a spit which constantly spins next to a hear source and the meat is shaved off. This is the true way to do gyro meat. No other place that I know of does it like this. The difference is amazing. I moved here from Chicago and thought I would never have a true gyro again. I am so glad I was wrong. The onions and tomato are fresh and delicious. The tzatziki sauce is the best I have tasted in Asheville. We got to meet the owners, Alex and Ashleigh Baxevanis.
