Really wanted to like this place. Drive from Nashville to try it. Very clean inside. Server…read moreCourtney was super nice. Had the pork and 2 sides and bake potato. Wife's pork was ok. Kind of dry and sauce was sweet and not good tasted like out of a jar and not a good one at that. She likes the coleslaw which was a vinegar based. Johnny cake was the best thing on plate. The fried okra was of the frozen typed and fried and left under warmer. Not hot, fresh, tasty or any real flavor of Okra. My baked potato was very average. Potato was cooked great. The pork was very little and very bland came with butter and sour cream and a little cold cheese, did not melt due to Luke warm potato. The sauce was sweet and hot. It was not hot but sweet as candy.... Yuck. Place was cheap but the food was not very good and the pork was very average with no real taste. So sad. Clean restrooms and not really anybody there. I wonder why?? Avoid this place and go to a real BBQ place like Martins or Edleys. I am surprised this place was still in business. The server was all by herself and was trying real hard. I suspect all the other stuff is about the same. Place did not smell like a BBQ restaurant.

I thought it was very good and high quality meat. The Mac & Cheese was creamy but not soupy (a BIG pet peeve of mine). The woman waiting on myself and few others was very amiable and gets a 10 . Wish I got her name. If I lived closer I would definitely try other items here. Good work guys.

Since it was easy to get in and I didn't walk more than 15 steps, I agreed to go. My left knee is swollen and I have to be careful or I will be draining it again. The lunch special was a leg quarter, ribs, or pulled pork with 2 sides. I chose ribs, green beans and stewed cabbage for $9.99. I ordered a side salad with ranch dressing for $3.99. My food was hot and tasty. I had 4 rib bones. My salad was fresh and so was the ranch dressing. 5/5 Lena and Dave ordered catfish with a baked potato and cucumbers, tomatoes and onion for $15.99. Both of them said the catfish was excellent. I tried a bite and for catfish, it was good. The baked potato was large and steaming full of butter and sour cream. 5/5 Everything was delicious. I ate half of my meal and brought the rest home. If you like good food at a reasonable price and are in the Pulaski, Tennessee area, please stop by this mom and pop restaurant. 5/5

A huge shout-out to Natalie, our waitress who worked the evening of 12/22/25, she was phenomenal. The restaurant was completely packed, and she was handling around 12 tables at once flawlessly. Not once did we need to call her over for drink refills; she was always on top of it and checked in with us at just the right times. Outstanding service and great food all around. We will definitely be back!

The bathroom was super clean, which is always appreciated by the ladies! You can tell this place is either very well kept or newer. The staff were friendly, but the younger staff were very consumed with their gossip and how much they make in tips, making them unapproachable when it came to questions about the menu. It was really one server in particular. To start off, we got an order of the fried pickles. They were probably the best fried pickles I've had. The breading was what seemed to be a corn meal/ Panko mix, which made for a nice, crispy outside with a softer inside. For ranch lovers, they had some decent ranch as well! The spicy ranch that came with the pickles wasn't too spicy. The Southwestern Salad was awesome. The grilled onions, the sweetly drop peppers, the seasoning on the chicken, and the dressing came together for a super delicious sweet and savory, but tangy, burst of flavor. Highly recommend giving it a try! The wings were deliciously smoked and still had the crunch of what you'd expect from deep fried wings. The wings are also really quite large and packed lots of meat. The buffalo sauce did get lost in the Smokey flavor, but they were still really tasty.
