It genuinely breaks my heart to write this review as I've been a longtime admirer and of this florist. Every time I'm in town, I make a point to purchase arrangements--both as gifts and for myself. Their work is consistently stunning, and it has always brought so much beauty into my life.
Recently, we experienced a death in the family. While planning the funeral, I naturally turned to this florist because of the trust I had in their artistry. I visited the studio in person to request a wreath. Before I could even share any details, the designer on-site declined, citing a full calendar of events. I completely understand that schedules fill up, especially during wedding season--but what hurt most was the lack of empathy. There was no moment of pause, no kindness--just a flat, "I'm just being honest." Not even a conversation about alternative options. Just an immediate no.
What made this harder was the fact that their website advertises same-day orders. We were offering four days' notice. I wasn't expecting miracles--just a little humanity.
More than the refusal itself, it was the absence of care that stayed with me. In a moment of grief, even a small gesture of compassion would have meant the world.
Their work is beautiful, however, this experience has overshadowed that for me. read more
