Where to even begin??? Had a wedding planned almost completely in another state and another year and then my Mom was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and we have no idea how long she has left... So, enter the "oh god let me plan a wedding in 6 weeks in a state I no longer live in, where I have very few contacts anymore" insanity.. After calling florists in Livingston and speaking with them twice but never getting any of the information I asked for, I came to yelp for answers, and was blessed with the lovely ladies at Budget Bouquet. From the get go, they were super on top of everything!! I sent them a link to what I was looking for, as I'd seen something similar from a website that was a do it yourself kinda thing but I wanted to support a local business instead and they did a stunning job. We decided the day my MOH was picking the bouquets up to add two thank you arrangements for the venue and they whipped them out within 30 minutes. So I am getting married tomorrow 9/25. My mom thought it would be nice to buy the wedding bouquet for my future bride. My mom lives out of town and found this place online. She called yesterday 9/23 and ordered a bouquet, paid, and asked them if I could pick them up today 9/24. She told the ladies that I would be by after 5 pm. They said they would be closed but would leave the bouquet with people at the Smiling Moose Deli. I got off work and went by the Deli and asked the ladies if they had my bouquet. They told me they knew nothing about it. They looked around and nothing. Tried to call the owners for me. Nothing. I called. Nothing, not even an answering machine. So I went and bought a bouquet from Costco ( nice flowers by the way). If I didn't do that then my future wife would have no flowers to hold as we get married. I am not sure if they have a nice product or not. I will never find out either. I will tell everyone to go somewhere else. This is a big day for us and wanted a simple bouquet. I guess I got it with our Costco flowers. I understand mistakes but you can set reminders. This is a business but if this keeps up then it might not be for long. I will be calling them tomorrow. No excuses! Good thing I didn't have them do a whole wedding. Costco would not have saved me from that! New development in this story now. My mom was able to get a hold of the owner through FB. She did offer to deliver tonight or let us pick them up in the morning. That's nice of her. We are not picking them up. Nice gesture but now I have already bought new flowers so she can make a bouquet. So the damage is done and it too little too late. read more

I feel really mixed about my experience here. First, the good parts: Michelle & Rhonda are absolutely awesome ladies. They made me feel excited & welcome from the get-go. Their prices were also the most reasonable of the 3 area businesses I checked. Lots of ideas, very organized. They were the only ones to send me an itemized list of what we talked about ordering. Because I was planning a wedding from out of town, this was especially helpful. Leading up to the wedding, they were incredibly accommodating & made a number of small changes I requested. The day of the wedding is where things get dicey. Let me preface this by saying that the ONLY thing I knew I wanted in my wedding when we started planning it-- was peach flowers. And I fully admit, I was picky about what shade of peach I wanted. I told both Rhonda & Michelle that I wanted the blush-y end of peach, not the orange-y end. I showed them paint chips to be even more clear. Day of, our flowers arrived. The bouquets were PERFECT. In retrospect, I think this is because I insisted on using David Austen roses instead of the cheaper alternative they suggested. Unfortunately, the centerpieces were AWFUL. They had red flowers. And orange flowers. Some were even yellow. But no peach. I also had ordered some flowers in bulk to use in bud vases, and they were also yellow with the slightest hint of peach at the tips. The centerpieces were so bad, I had my aunt cut every single red flower out, while a cousin drove 40 miles to pick up whatever peach or white flowers she could find at CostCo to fill the gaps and my bud vases. Meanwhile, I called Michelle & Rhonda, who explained to me that they ordered peach flowers, but there is no way to guarantee the correct shade. They don't physically go to their wholesaler & look at the selection & say "give me x, y, & z." But the bottom line is-- they ordered flowers, took them out of the box, could clearly tell that they weren't peach & used them anyway. When I asked them what they could do to fix it, they offered to leave 14 stems of white flowers spray-painted peach in a bucket at the deli next door because they were closing & had another delivery to make. Needless to say, my CostCo flowers looked great & my yellow bulk flowers stayed in a bucket hidden under a table. What a waste. And I can't imagine what the bouquets would have looked like if I hadn't insisted on the David Austen roses. Oh, and furthermore-- they promised to hang an arrangement on an arch at our ceremony site but instead just left it on a table. My dad & the wedding coordinator at the site ran all over trying to find wire and at one point were trying to figure out if a coat hanger would do the trick to hang it. The takeaway: ALWAYS ASK IF THE FLORIST GOES DIRECTLY TO THE WHOLESALER! read more

I live in CA and ordered flowers the day before my friends birthday. I opted for a $55 flower arrangement which also had a $10 delivery charge. I spoke with Sheri on the phone and she was very cordial and professional. She was very helpful in helping me decide on an arrangement .The flowers were extremely fresh and arranged very nicely. This ladies do amazing work and I was happy with the customer service and the final delivered product. The card and ribbon delivered with the flowers were a nice touch.
