Cheese popcorn was very flavorful and the added classic caramel took it over the top. I should have added more caramel because the cheese kissed caramel was just a hint of caramel more cheese. But overall great fresh popcorn. Service was quick, friendly and professional. Staff was welcoming and helpful. read more

This place is sooooo good. I finally tried it today and I was glad I did. The guy working was friendly and helpful with suggestions. The salt and vinegar, backyard barbecue and bacon cheese were all delicious. The popcorn is so fresh and very reasonably priced. I will definitely be back soon! They also offer points for free stuff. Popper-Razzi Gourmet Popcorn - three bags of popcorn on the dashboard of a car - Popcorn Shops Near Me - Hazel Crest, Illinois

Yayy, a gourmet popcorn spot near my old stomping grounds. Garrett-who? This place has the usual Chicago-style mix with cheese and caramel combo, what is cool is you can mix any of their different cheese flavors with the caramel for different flavors. I stuck with a few cheese flavors: Backyard BBQ (which had a Smokey flavor), cheddar bacon and cheese ranch. Well-seasoned with great flavor, these were really good. Just wish they had some other non-cheese savory flavors. Customer service was fantastic and they allowed me to sample some flavors prior to buying. Overall, I'll be coming here whenever I'm in the area. Great place to get fresh cheese popcorn flavors. read more

Great tasting popcorn that is fresh and delicious! I plan my trips when I'm in the area to pickup for myself and my neighbor. My Neighbor has had their popcorn about 20 times since I've picked it up for him when I order mines, and he has never been but describes it as the best popcorn that he's ever had. My favorite is cheese kissed caramel it's like the Chicago Mix perfected on one kernel. I enjoy the backyard BBQ, and the traditional caramel as well. They have other flavors as well. read more

If you like Chicago style popcorn (camel and cheese) this is the local spot for you. I enjoy a mix of all the different cheese flavors or a sweet and spicy blend, and a little of the plain movie theater kind. Sometimes they know what I want when I walk in, great service. I've been going there since they opened. Perfect snack anytime if the day or night. If the windows are steamed up when you walk past, you know it's fresh read more

Great popcorn and friendly service. I love the cheese and Carmel has a hint of sweetness to it, but not overpowering. I also would recommend the bbq cheddar. read more

I gave 2 stars because my daughter placed an order 2 days ahead to buy 18 small bags for her daughter's classroom. She got to the store just when it opened and they were full of excuses as to why they were not ready and available. The store was dirty and there was garbage piled up and not emptied, the floors were dirty and sticky and had popcorn scattered all over and the ceiling is black dirty. . WHAT HAPPENED THAT PLACE USED TO BE SO CLEAN AND THE WINDOWS WERE SPOTLESS. THEY HAVE A GREAT PRODUCT, but if the store is dirty, how clean is the handling of the popcorn? I gotta ask Jehovah for help. read more

Popper-Razzi's popcorn is a quick fix comfort food that I often crave. The shop is clean, popcorn fresh, employee-friendly. Samples are provided so don't be shy to try them all. The Mo better cheddar mix with the caramel pecan is my favorite. During this Pandemic, to minimize contact, you can order online or have Popcorn delivered to your home. You can purchase a small page or a bucket. This shop has been in the neighborhood for over ten years. The owner is professional and super nice. read more

The place is large for a popcorn shore. It was a young guy at the register he was friendly, professional, and knew the product he was selling. The popcorn was really good and fresh. Definitely would recommend. read more

Super dope staff, super courteous and friendly, but mostly important the popcorn is phenomenal. I order several pounds for my daughter birthday party and everyone loved it. I was asked to return and get more because it simply was delicious! read more

I love their popcorn it's not nearly as greasy as Garrets! My favorite combo is their KISS- combination of cheese and Carmel fused together and I mix that with their Cheese flavor to tone down the sweetness, its finger licking good and it is to die for! However, with this being said, as I am writing this review on Friday, March 12, 2021, I am eating their kiss combo Cheese and Carmel and looking inside the bag for a napkin with none in sight. This is very common with them, if you don't ask for any napkins you won't get any either. If you remember to ask for napkins which you shouldn't have to, they are very stingy with them. This is their biggest down fall! This is why they received four stars instead of five. My .80 size bag cost me $10.73. Check out my review on Pop's Popcorn in Homewood, where I did a comparison of the two. read more

I love trying out different popcorn places. I was able to find another one in my area. Customer service was great. The man who assisted me was a huge help and I was able to sample some popcorn. Unfortunately, I can't remember the prices or the exact size bags I bought; But, their prices are very reasonable. I love the fact they have various bag size customers can choose to purchase. I ordered 2 (large?) bags of cheese and Caramel mix. I also order the smallest size of cheese kiss Caramel. Mannnn.. the cheese kiss caramel is my favorite!! I love the amount of caramel that's coated on the popcorn. Its a thicker coating. Surprisingly, I still got the flavor of the cheese. The caramel didn't over power the cheese flavor. It's really good.. I wish I would of got it in a larger bag! The cheese and classic caramel mix was okay. The cheese popcorn wasn't as cheesy as I like it to be and the same with the caramel. The classic caramel had thin coating.. I taste more of the popcorn than the actual caramel. I would definitely go back for their cheese kiss caramel and try their other flavors. I recommend this spot.. go support! read more

This popcorn is addictive. I always order Mo Better Cheddar mixed w/Cheese Kissed Caramel Omg Garrets can go home .. It use to be a hit when I was a kid. The fact that my pocket will last a week if I choose not to eat it sooner. So sorry but I can't stop eating it once I untie that bag.. Customer service is always on point. They're fast and efficient in service. So glad to be able to patronize my people and that this business is doing an excellent job. Thank you read more

Garrett's means nothing to me when it comes to popcorn. My Go to popcorn place is Popper-Razzi! The owner is extremely friendly and the entire staff. Each time I'm home for a visit I make Popper-Razzi my second stop right after White Castle. Mo' Better Chedder, Backyard BBQ and Cheese Kissed Caramel are my three favorites and I can never get enough of them. I've got my co-workers hooked and now they request that I bring this back after each visit rather than that other popcorn franchise. I'm even impressed with the shipments that I receive. They always come in a timely manner and each kernel is always fresh. read more

I always make sure I stop by every time I visit Chicago. The people behind the counter are always super nice and have lots of patience with my indecisiveness. I am a big fan of Mo Betta Chedda and Caramel mix (chicago mix). On top of that they have a cheddar caramel popcorn so that you can get both flavors in one bite every single time! Why had no one done this before????? other flavors of note is back yard BBQ, Buffalo and cheddar ranch. All good and I don't even like Buffalo flavored things! If you're in the area make sure you stop by as you will not regret it! read more

This place really is a hidden gem! They are my favorite place to buy popcorn from. Yes my favorite lol, I even like it more than Garrett's!! Their cheese/caramel mix is amazing! They have a ton of other flavors too: backyard bbq, buffalo wing, bacon ranch, cheddar kissed caramel and more. The popcorn tastes fresh every time I buy it. Everyone who works here is always super friendly. I go here at least twice a week, minimum (sometimes more). Don't judge me, It's addictive!!!!! So glad we have this place in the 'burbs. read more

Best customer service and popcorn! I am so happy I stopped by after work. It is worth the trip!!

The short review - AMAZING!! The details - This is, without a doubt, the best popcorn I've ever had. The Chicago Mix does the name proud, and the Cheese-Kissed Caramel is totally delicious. And, as if that wasn't enough, the service is just awesome! I must commend the owner on a job well done. He has taken a great product and great customer service training and created an atmosphere that makes you want to keep coming back. (And I will!) Garrett who? read more

Thank you Michael J. of "Popper-Razzi" for your fair response to my honest review. The only thing I would take issue with is you emphasizing that my mention of "the famous place/Garrett's", that the comparisons are made "about you" and not "by you". I clearly stated that the comparisons I read were made by other reviews/reviewers for you on YELP. I never claimed that you said that about yourself. I can see and hear that you are proud of your product. read more

I live in the South Suburbs and I refuse to drive all the way into Chicago. I love this place! The service is excellent, they give free samples and they have varying flavors to fit your taste as well as your budget. The popcorn is very cheese but not in an overpowering way and it is not salty at all. Mike, the owner, is a really nice guy and his employees are great too. Go check them out! read more

great! great! great! Top notch, fresh and flavorful popcorn. I'm from the south suburbs originally and recently moved back from Chi-town. Thought that popcorn couldn't get better than Garrett's. Wrong! They're doing it right! The owner changed careers and followed his passion. Love it! and the risk paid off. I've only had the Chicago mix but I'll return to try the other flavors. Whenever I'm in the South Burbs, I try to visit Popper-Razzi! They have excellent popcorn, especially if you're like me and like something other than the standard Chicago Mix. My favorite is the Cheddar Ranch, its so good. They also have a caramel popcorn that is coated in cheese that is AWESOME. I have to hide a bag for myself whenever I go, because once my son gets the bag it's GONE before anyone can ask for some. The prices are similar garret's in downtown Chicago, but the flavors make it worth it. read more
