I absolutely love Lady's Gourmet Popcorn!! Highly recommend it to everyone! I love all the yummy mixes they make - especially Central Park! So, I have a little bit of a popcorn problem. And by "problem" I mean I'm like, the Cookie Monster but with popcorn. I LOVE Lady's Gourmet Popcorn. It is a little pricy, but you're paying for quality and it's so worth it. They have so many unique flavors and everything I've tried has been delicious. Plus they're super nice people! They had a flavor made with Carolina reaper peppers that I wanted to try, but didn't make it out. I asked on their Facebook page if they had it and they said they wouldn't have it for awhile, but they wrote down my name and would contact me when they make it again. I love their cheese and any spicy flavors. My favorite is probably the pepper pop. If you, too, are a popcorn monster or even just a little bit of a popcorn gnome, get yourself there. read more

The popcorn is fantastic! It's very local to me and definitely convenient. It's very fresh and not filled with kernels. About a month ago I went to a 'famous' Chicago popcorn institution, stood in line for about 30 minutes, only to receive the stalest most disgusting popcorn I have ever had. As I was munching on this bag of disgusting popcorn, I could only think about Lady's Gourmet Popcorn: they always have the freshest popcorn, they have the best service, and their popcorn shop is always clean! Driving through downtown Griffith I spotted this lil gourmet popcorn shop and decided to try it. I walked in and was impressed by the variety of flavors such as spicy, ranch, caramel, cheddar, etc... I was told I could purchase a refillable bucket which I could then bring back and refill at a discounted rate. I thought, hmm I better not since I've never had great gourmet popcorn outside of Chicago and was concerned I would not like it. Boy was I wrong! I tried the traditional Chicago mix (caramel/cheddar) which is now called the "Central Park" mix and it was great! Very comparable, if not better, than the Chicago ones. I can't wait to go back to try other flavors and purchase that refillable bucket! ;) read more

My coworker told me about this place because they had reps at the farmers market and I was looking for a good snack that wasn't potato chips. The man and I headed there and saw the owner and she was giving out samples. This is what love is!!!! We didn't have enough cash to buy what we wanted so she directed us to her storefront down the street. The mix is literally THE BEST, it is always fresh. However she gets all these flavored in popcorn is unbelievable to me. Flavored from a traditional movie butter to completely out there frooty loops....unbelievable. It almost freaks me out how much the popcorn tastes like the food it's flavored after. My dog even loves the treats she sells on the side haha. Long story short...get your butt in there, there is something for everyone! You won't regret it, might come out about 30 dollars less, but it is so worth it. read more

Every time we are in from Cleveland, we have to stop. Their Central Park mix (formerly Chicago Mix) is the best we've had. I think the secret is their recipe for the cheese popcorn part. Shelf life on the popcorn is amazing, easily going a week or more... if you can stop yourself from eating it that long of course! You only get a fraction of that from the bigger Chicago makers. I recently got married in Chicago and popcorn is one our favorite foods, I had someone recommend that we get popcorn from Lady's Gourmet Popcorn. I contacted them and they sent us a list of all the flavors they offered and said they would send samples. I gave them several flavors that sounded good to us. They sent us all the ones that we asked for and then some! We were completely blown away, they were all so good! It was definitely a tough decision for what we wanted to offer at the wedding! We ended up having six different flavors at the wedding and they were all fantastic! They overnighted the popcorn to us and it arrived perfectly packaged. All of our guests loved the idea of having a popcorn bar at the wedding, the birthday cake (wedding cake for us), the central park mix, and the double fudge brownie were the favorites, they all disappeared by the end of the night. The customer service was great, they always responded to e-mails quickly. And I was so impressed because they included little samples for my husband and I enjoy after the wedding, which could not have been more perfect because we didn't even have a chance to enjoy the popcorn at the wedding! Great popcorn and decent prices. I love the look of new location and they offer gelato there- havent tried it yet. Slightly addicted to carmel popcorn and theirs is great! Only reason its four stars is because I seem to always go and they are closed. Make sure you check hours and I think they are closed Sundays and Mondays. when they first opened, the popcorn was excellent---light fluffy kernals---but as time has gone on, I can definitely say the quality of the popcorn has gone down. many hard half popped kernals now---you really have to chew it slowly to avoid a broken tooth. when paying for "gourmet" popcorn, I expect only premium kernals with no hard unpopped ones. read more
